📸 What if Your First iPhone Photo Was Pure Backstage Chaos?
I'm in full chaotic fashion mode:
🐆 Leopard print beanie from Giambattista Valli x H&M
🧣 Baby blue + beige H&M Studio scarf
🎨 White sweatshirt from the Basquiat x H&M collab
👖 Brown faux leather trousers
👟 White chunky sole trainers from Eytys x H&M
The costume shop behind me? A glorious mess of wigs, garments, steamers, and secrets 🤫. It’s not always this wild… or maybe it is 👀.
Here’s the truth: I’m not a great tailor 🙃 — but luckily, being a dresser is more about being fast, creative, and knowing how to mend anything with one eye closed and a coffee in hand ☕🪡. And that, my friend, I am good at 💪🏼.
This pic is cluttered, real, and 100% me: working, thriving, and wearing five fashion collabs at once 😆. Proof that inspiration doesn’t need to be polished. Sometimes, it’s just... backstage chaos caught in the flash 📸✨.

What if... the Sock Was the Star All Along? 🧦✨
Ever left the house holding a single sock like it was the most natural thing in the world? 🧦😂 Well… I did.
📸 This photo was snapped on Feb 15, 2025, in the stairwell of my apartment building in Midsommarkransen, Stockholm.
I was heading to work dressed in full ✨maximalist magic✨:
🎧 Black JBL headphones
🕶️ Pink sunglasses from Giambattista Valli x H&M
🧢 Leopard beanie from the same collab
🧥 Long brown faux fur coat from H&M
👖 Brown faux leather trousers
👟 Chunky white sneakers from Eytys x H&M
👜 Denim bag from &DENIM by H&M
👀 And in my left hand? A dark yellow sock with purple dots.
But why the sock?! 🤯 Maybe it fell out of my bag? Or maybe I was taking it to work with my laundry? Likely. I always pair my socks—except when they’re going into the laundry. 🧼 And yes, I used to safety-pin black socks, but now that I wear fun, colorful ones (back when H&M made them 😢), I don’t need to. Every pair is a one-of-a-kind mood. 🎨
This snap captures one of those unfiltered moments where fashion meets forgetfulness… or is it functionality? Either way, it’s very me. 👀💁♂️
🎯 For fashion lovers who don’t take life too seriously.
🎭 For theatre techies carrying their laundry to work.
👟 For maximalist commuters who dare to accessorize with socks.

A Day in My Life: Theatre, Midori Cocktails, and a Surprising Noodle Hac...
Ever wondered what a day in the life of a Swedish theatre content creator looks like? 🎭🇸🇪 From editing videos and uploading nostalgic iPhone photos to mixing Midori cocktails and cooking up surprisingly good meals — this vlog has it all!
📱 My day starts with editing yesterday’s Instagram stories, syncing the video across all my social media outlets (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts), and uploading a nostalgic gem — the oldest photo on my iPhone. I share it, then erase it from my phone, making space for fresh memories 📸✨.
🚴♂️ Then it’s time to bike to ICA at Liljeholmstorgets Galleria for vegan groceries. Lucky me, instant noodles and tomatoes are on SALE! 🍜🍅 I get curious: Can you combine them into something tasty? (Spoiler alert: You absolutely can!)
🧳 Back home, it’s suitcase time. We’re heading out on tour soon, so I pull my giant silver Samsonite from under the bed. It’s dusty — like desert-level dusty. Cue the pre-tour chaos! 🎭🌍
🍸 Since it's May, my friend Magnus and I celebrate what we call MayDori — a month of Midori-based cocktails. Today’s star: the JAPANESE SLIPPER 💚 (1 part Midori, 1 part Cointreau, 1 part lemon juice). I FaceTime Magnus and he’s created an Emerald Isle cocktail, and even gone a step further — writing TWO Midori-themed songs on Suno.com 🎶✨.
🥂 Naturally, I try an Emerald Isle myself. Spoiler: it’s AMAZING. And speaking of surprising culinary wins, I mix those instant noodles with chopped tomatoes... and it’s a game-changer. Who knew simple ingredients could spark such joy?
🎵 Finally, I relax with the AI-enhanced Paper Mill Playhouse production of Crazy For You. A perfect ending for a theatre-loving soul like me.
🏡 I live in Midsommarkransen, a suburb of Stockholm, and work as a dresser and costume supervisor at a musical theatre. I create daily content about backstage life, style, vegan food, and everyday creativity.

What if My Office Could Tell Stories?
Welcome to the behind-the-scenes look at one of my favorite places—my living room in Midsommarkransen, Stockholm, where creativity flows, and work feels like play! 🏠✨ This oldest photo on my iPhone was taken on February 11, 2025, during a casual moment in my home office space, featuring my desk, iMac, and the beloved wall behind me. You might notice it’s home to an impressive collection of posters!
As a content creator and theatre lover, I’ve accumulated a lot of these over the years. After the shows I work on close, I sometimes snag the posters and even pick them up around the city (yep, they’re often put up without permission, so no guilt here!). From my computer screen showing the incredible 3Sixty penthouse view at Liljeholmskajen, to the posters for Handbok för Superhjältar, Drama Hela Hösten, Chaka Khan, and Dirty Dancing, this space really captures my world. 🖥️🎶
* Handbok för Superhjältar: A superhero comic book brought to life, with the main character and the Wolf Man in action.
* Drama Hela Hösten: A dramatic play series, featuring a promo image from Arv (The Inheritance), which I didn’t catch in the original run but loved when I saw it later.
* Chaka Khan: A throwback to a concert poster of the Queen of Funk herself, her voice is still unforgettable!
* Dirty Dancing: This musical has some serious nostalgia, and this poster for the European tour reminds me of unforgettable moments.
On either side of my iMac, you’ll see the ring lights I use for live streaming, which light up the space while I engage with you all on a deeper level through my content. 🎥💡
This photo also captures the essence of what it’s like to be a content creator—balancing passion with work while always staying inspired by what’s around me. From my home office to the city views, and everything in between, this image sums up my perfect creative space.

A Woman Of Distinction | Full Movie | Daily Laugh
🎬 A WOMAN OF DISTINCTION (1950): A CLASSIC COMEDIC EXPLORATION OF IMAGE, IDENTITY, AND EXPECTATION
In A Woman of Distinction, Rosalind Russell dazzles in a role tailor-made for her comedic timing and commanding screen presence. Directed by Edward Buzzell and released by Columbia Pictures in 1950, the film spins a romantic comedy with surprising undertones of social commentary, wrapped in the polished charm of post-war American cinema. Russell plays the fiercely independent Dean Susan Manning of Benton College, a woman whose career and reputation are suddenly—and inconveniently—tangled in a fabricated scandal involving globe-trotting anthropology professor Michael Burke (played with whimsical charm by Ray Milland).
Socially, the film serves as a snapshot of post-war gender expectations. Women like Susan, in powerful positions, were rare both onscreen and off, and the narrative doesn't shy away from the tensions that arise when a woman is seen as too authoritative. Her struggle to maintain dignity while being thrust into the public eye as a romantic figure speaks volumes about societal discomfort with female autonomy. Meanwhile, Michael Burke represents the “acceptable” male nonconformist: charming, unconventional, yet ultimately devoted to the pursuit of love and truth. Their dynamic becomes a metaphor for reconciliation between independence and intimacy.
Commercially, A Woman of Distinction didn’t achieve blockbuster status but enjoyed respectable success thanks to its high-profile leads and screwball energy. Rosalind Russell was, by then, an established star, having already earned multiple Oscar nominations. The studio wisely banked on her ability to elevate even modest material, and audiences responded well to her chemistry with Milland. However, it was perhaps too “brainy” for mass audiences seeking broader escapism, limiting its lasting commercial footprint.
Geographically, the film uses its academic setting—filmed on location at Occidental College in Los Angeles—as a character in itself. The ivy-clad campus, polished lecture halls, and chaste dormitories contrast sharply with the chaotic intrusion of tabloid romance and paparazzi. Meanwhile, scenes set in New York City offer a fast-paced, urban foil to the cloistered world of academia. These locations aren’t just backdrops; they underscore the collision of public and private life, order and disruption, intellect and impulse.
Culturally, the film is a time capsule of the early 1950s, when American cinema was negotiating the return to normalcy after World War II. It speaks to the increasing visibility of women in professional roles, but also the narrative pressure to pair them off romantically by the final reel. While on the surface it's a breezy rom-com, it contains a quiet cultural critique: can a woman be respected and in love, brilliant and desirable, authoritative and soft? For 1950, A Woman of Distinction answers: maybe, but only if she’s played by Rosalind Russell.
🎥 TEN TRIVIA FACTS
Rosalind Russell was already known for strong, fast-talking female leads from His Girl Friday and The Womenwhen she took this role.
The film was originally titled Miss Manning’s Misunderstanding during early development.
Ray Milland took the role shortly after winning the Academy Award for The Lost Weekend.
Edward Buzzell, the director, was better known for musicals and light comedies, including several Marx Brothers films.
The college scenes were shot at Occidental College, chosen for its quintessentially “East Coast” appearance despite being in California.
The film plays with real-life gossip magazine tropes, parodying Hollywood publicity culture under the guise of academic satire.
Rosalind Russell wore her own clothes for some of the campus scenes to reflect the character’s conservative professionalism.
The film was one of the first comedies to mock university “celebrity culture” before it became a mainstream theme.
The supporting role of the gossip columnist was modeled after famed real-life columnists Louella Parsons and Hedda Hopper.
Though not a musical, the film features a whimsical original score by George Duning, a Columbia favorite of the era.

📸 What if Sundays Were for Selfies, Not Shows?
What if the oldest photo on your phone wasn’t just a photo—but a whole *vibe*? ✨ This selfie 📱 was snapped outside the theatre 🎭 on **February 9, 2025**, just before a matinee. I'm layered up for a chilly Stockholm morning in my black furry double-breasted pea coat 🖤 (H\&M), that oversized green cotton hoodie 💚 from the Basquiat x Ev Bravado & Téla D'Amore x H\&M collab, my yellow-brown tartan baseball cap 🧢, iconic white square Re-Enchantment sunglasses 🕶️ from H\&M, and my trusty black JBL headphones 🎧—ready to start the day.
It's before noon ☀️, so definitely a matinee. Saturday or Sunday? Could be either. Two shows on Saturdays are brutal, but Sundays? Just one and done. 🙏 I’ve got a *love-hate* thing with Sunday shows. After a double day, your body craves rest 😴, but once you're in costume land 👕👗, the tempo's quick—like your hands already remember the quick-changes from yesterday 🪄.
When I started working as a dresser, matinees were *not* my fave. I was used to late nights 🌙 and sleeping in 🛏️. But now? I’ve made peace with them. They have their rhythm.
This photo reminds me how even a rushed morning can hold a quiet kind of confidence 💪. A moment where you say, *yep, I'm tired—but I'm showing up, in style.*
🎭 Featuring: Me, theatre energy, and just a little hint of Saturday night leftovers 🥱.
📍Taken in Midsommarkransen, Stockholm.

Funny, Real Day in My Life as a Theatre Dresser & Vegan Vlogger
What if Vases Could Whisper Stories?
✨ On February 8, 2025, amidst the bustling costume shop of the theater, I captured a moment that has since become a cherished memory. Two vibrant glass vases stood gracefully on the ironing board—one a sunny yellow, the other a bold orange. Their unique design, reminiscent of stacked inner tubes or perhaps a whimsical caterpillar, caught my eye and my heart.
🌟 These are the KÄLLARHALS vases, masterpieces by designer Anna Efverlund. Originally introduced in IKEA's 1995 catalog as SNURRA, they've been reimagined in the Nytillverkad collection, blending nostalgia with contemporary flair.
🛍️ That Saturday, between two shows, I ventured to IKEA City in Gallerian, Stockholm—a ritual I share with my colleague Johanna. Our tradition? Treat ourselves to something special. These vases were my pick, a splash of color and joy to brighten my space.
🌞 Placed by the window, they dance with sunlight, casting playful shadows and evoking memories of that day. They aren't just decor; they're storytellers, encapsulating a slice of life, art, and tradition.
🎭 As a content creator, moments like these fuel my passion. They remind me that beauty lies in the details, in the stories behind everyday objects.
