What if Style Was Just Survival Disguised as Fashion?

🚲 Early morning. February 12, 2025. I’m standing in the stairwell outside my apartment in Midsommarkransen, Stockholm—half asleep, half fabulous 😴✨. It's clearly a matiné day at the theatre 🎭 and I'm layered like a lasagna.

🧥 The photo captures me ready to bike to work (as I’ve done for 20+ years), dressed like a snow warrior with serious runway dreams. Featuring: my white beanie with delicate florals from *Giambattista Valli x H\&M* 🌸, oversized sunglasses from *Innovation Cherish Waste* 🕶️, and my red, black, and blue tartan puffer from *H\&M Studio* 🔥. My black jeans carry the rebellious spirit of *Basquiat meets New York streetwear* 🎨🖤, and the chunky trainers from *EYTYS* scream: “don’t mess with my stride.” 👟

🧤 In one hand, I clutch my silver reflective gloves from RUSTA 🪩, in the other, a black duffel bag printed with an 18th-century floral from *Giambattista Valli x H\&M* 👜.

The streets are cold, quiet, and mine. I *prefer* biking in off-seasons. Fewer people. Less chaos. More peace 🧘‍♂️. I’ll never understand the spandex warriors zooming home like they’re in Tour de France. You work in IT, Göran. Relax. 😂

This pic isn’t just a fit check—it’s a snapshot of my daily theatre ritual, my stubborn dedication to biking year-round, and my refusal to sacrifice style for speed 🧵💅.

📍Taken: February 12, 2025
📍Where: Midsommarkransen, Stockholm

💬 Ever convinced *survival mode* looks like *street style*?

A Day in My Life in Stockholm — Sunglasses, Nostalgia, No Cheesecake

Come with me on a full day in my life as a male content creator, vlogger, and theatre costume supervisor living in Stockholm, Sweden 🇸🇪🌍. From editing Instagram stories first thing in the morning ⏰️💻 to biking across the city to hunt for sunglasses and charger cords 🚴‍♂️🔌, this vlog captures all the creative chaos, digital rituals, and spontaneous moments of joy that make up my daily routine.

I start every day with a personal content routine: editing videos from the day before 📹, writing platform-specific captions ✍️, and then uploading my oldest iPhone photo 📷 for a hit of nostalgia ❤️ before erasing it forever ♻️. It’s how I keep my feed fresh and my memory lane moving.

Next, I head into town by bike 🚴‍♂️ with a loose to-do list: try on some H&M sunglasses 👓 (spoiler: hated them), check out IKEA for a new iPhone charging cable 🔌 (they didn’t have any), and stop at Lyko to order Cerave skincare 🌟.

Along the way, I spot construction happening at the Marievik docks near Årstabron 🚧🌊. I also find some unexpectedly gorgeous banana leaf-inspired plates at H&M Home 🍌—yes, I bought two! I tried on a hat that looked ridiculous (you’ll see😂), and had a lovely chat with Denny, an actor/dancer from the musical I'm currently working on 🎭.

He recommended cheesecake at Hötorget 🍰, but alas, no vegan options today ❌. On my way home, I stopped to check out the development at Marievik again ⚓️ and even took down a Kylie Minogue concert poster to add to my apartment wall 📸🏡.

Right now I'm deeply into instant noodles and tomatoes 🍜🍅. It may be strange but it hits the spot. This video shows the real rhythm of my day—equal parts creative hustle and spontaneous city exploration 🌟.

Living in Midsommarkransen, Stockholm 🏡, I work full-time in musical theatre and create content every day that blends vlogging 📰, vegan cooking 🌿, and style 👗. 📸 What if Your First iPhone Photo Was Pure Backstage Chaos?

Ever scroll all the way back in your camera roll? 🌀 This is the oldest photo on my iPhone, snapped on 15 februari 2025 inside the costume shop at the theatre where I’ve worked since 2008 🎭. Fourteen shows later… and this messy little moment still makes me smile 😅.

I'm in full chaotic fashion mode:

🐆 Leopard print beanie from Giambattista Valli x H&M

🧣 Baby blue + beige H&M Studio scarf

🎨 White sweatshirt from the Basquiat x H&M collab

👖 Brown faux leather trousers

👟 White chunky sole trainers from Eytys x H&M

The costume shop behind me? A glorious mess of wigs, garments, steamers, and secrets 🤫. It’s not always this wild… or maybe it is 👀.

Here’s the truth: I’m not a great tailor 🙃 — but luckily, being a dresser is more about being fast, creative, and knowing how to mend anything with one eye closed and a coffee in hand ☕🪡. And that, my friend, I am good at 💪🏼.

This pic is cluttered, real, and 100% me: working, thriving, and wearing five fashion collabs at once 😆. Proof that inspiration doesn’t need to be polished. Sometimes, it’s just... backstage chaos caught in the flash 📸✨.

From Editing to Waffles in Stockholm Join me as I navigate a typical day...

Morning Routine:
Starting the day with a cup of coffee, I dive into editing yesterday's Instagram Stories, ensuring they're ready for all my social media platforms. Once the edits are complete, I upload the video, craft engaging descriptions, and share the oldest photo from my iPhone before deleting it—a ritual that keeps my content fresh and nostalgic.

Outfit of the Day:
Before heading out, I put on my signature look: a denim bucket hat, superhero-inspired sunglasses, a red and black leopard print scarf, and my dark blue Marni jacket.

Culinary Adventure:
Cycling to Södermalm, I meet up with my friend Magnus at Älskade Traditioner, a retro restaurant on Södermannagatan known for its diverse waffle offerings. Magnus enjoys a decadent seafood salad waffle, while I opt for a vegan lunch waffle paired with a refreshing hallonsoda.

Evening Vibes:
On the way home, I pick up batteries for the fairy lights on my balcony. Dinner consists of vegan dumplings and a flavorful lemon, zucchini, and couscous dish. As night falls, the newly lit fairy lights create a cozy ambiance.

About Me:
I'm a dresser and costume supervisor at a musical theatre in Stockholm. My passions include vlogging, vegan cooking, theatre, and fashion. Every day, I share snippets of my life, aiming to inspire and connect with like-minded individuals.

What if... the Sock Was the Star All Along? 🧦✨

Ever left the house holding a single sock like it was the most natural thing in the world? 🧦😂 Well… I did.

📸 This photo was snapped on Feb 15, 2025, in the stairwell of my apartment building in Midsommarkransen, Stockholm.

I was heading to work dressed in full maximalist magic:

🎧 Black JBL headphones

🕶️ Pink sunglasses from Giambattista Valli x H&M

🧢 Leopard beanie from the same collab

🧥 Long brown faux fur coat from H&M

👖 Brown faux leather trousers

👟 Chunky white sneakers from Eytys x H&M

👜 Denim bag from &DENIM by H&M

👀 And in my left hand? A dark yellow sock with purple dots.

But why the sock?! 🤯 Maybe it fell out of my bag? Or maybe I was taking it to work with my laundry? Likely. I always pair my socks—except when they’re going into the laundry. 🧼 And yes, I used to safety-pin black socks, but now that I wear fun, colorful ones (back when H&M made them 😢), I don’t need to. Every pair is a one-of-a-kind mood. 🎨

This snap captures one of those unfiltered moments where fashion meets forgetfulness… or is it functionality? Either way, it’s very me. 👀💁‍♂️

🎯 For fashion lovers who don’t take life too seriously.

🎭 For theatre techies carrying their laundry to work.

👟 For maximalist commuters who dare to accessorize with socks.

A Day in My Life: Theatre, Midori Cocktails, and a Surprising Noodle Hac...

Ever wondered what a day in the life of a Swedish theatre content creator looks like? 🎭🇸🇪 From editing videos and uploading nostalgic iPhone photos to mixing Midori cocktails and cooking up surprisingly good meals — this vlog has it all!

📱 My day starts with editing yesterday’s Instagram stories, syncing the video across all my social media outlets (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts), and uploading a nostalgic gem — the oldest photo on my iPhone. I share it, then erase it from my phone, making space for fresh memories 📸✨.

🚴‍♂️ Then it’s time to bike to ICA at Liljeholmstorgets Galleria for vegan groceries. Lucky me, instant noodles and tomatoes are on SALE! 🍜🍅 I get curious: Can you combine them into something tasty? (Spoiler alert: You absolutely can!)

🧳 Back home, it’s suitcase time. We’re heading out on tour soon, so I pull my giant silver Samsonite from under the bed. It’s dusty — like desert-level dusty. Cue the pre-tour chaos! 🎭🌍

🍸 Since it's May, my friend Magnus and I celebrate what we call MayDori — a month of Midori-based cocktails. Today’s star: the JAPANESE SLIPPER 💚 (1 part Midori, 1 part Cointreau, 1 part lemon juice). I FaceTime Magnus and he’s created an Emerald Isle cocktail, and even gone a step further — writing TWO Midori-themed songs on Suno.com 🎶✨.

🥂 Naturally, I try an Emerald Isle myself. Spoiler: it’s AMAZING. And speaking of surprising culinary wins, I mix those instant noodles with chopped tomatoes... and it’s a game-changer. Who knew simple ingredients could spark such joy?

🎵 Finally, I relax with the AI-enhanced Paper Mill Playhouse production of Crazy For You. A perfect ending for a theatre-loving soul like me.

What if My Office Could Tell Stories?

Welcome to the behind-the-scenes look at one of my favorite places—my living room in Midsommarkransen, Stockholm, where creativity flows, and work feels like play! 🏠✨ This oldest photo on my iPhone was taken on February 11, 2025, during a casual moment in my home office space, featuring my desk, iMac, and the beloved wall behind me. You might notice it’s home to an impressive collection of posters!

As a content creator and theatre lover, I’ve accumulated a lot of these over the years. After the shows I work on close, I sometimes snag the posters and even pick them up around the city (yep, they’re often put up without permission, so no guilt here!). From my computer screen showing the incredible 3Sixty penthouse view at Liljeholmskajen, to the posters for Handbok för Superhjältar, Drama Hela Hösten, Chaka Khan, and Dirty Dancing, this space really captures my world. 🖥️🎶

* Handbok för Superhjältar: A superhero comic book brought to life, with the main character and the Wolf Man in action.

* Drama Hela Hösten: A dramatic play series, featuring a promo image from Arv (The Inheritance), which I didn’t catch in the original run but loved when I saw it later.

* Chaka Khan: A throwback to a concert poster of the Queen of Funk herself, her voice is still unforgettable!

* Dirty Dancing: This musical has some serious nostalgia, and this poster for the European tour reminds me of unforgettable moments.

On either side of my iMac, you’ll see the ring lights I use for live streaming, which light up the space while I engage with you all on a deeper level through my content. 🎥💡

This photo also captures the essence of what it’s like to be a content creator—balancing passion with work while always staying inspired by what’s around me. From my home office to the city views, and everything in between, this image sums up my perfect creative space.

A Woman Of Distinction | Full Movie | Daily Laugh

🎬 A WOMAN OF DISTINCTION (1950): A CLASSIC COMEDIC EXPLORATION OF IMAGE, IDENTITY, AND EXPECTATION

In A Woman of Distinction, Rosalind Russell dazzles in a role tailor-made for her comedic timing and commanding screen presence. Directed by Edward Buzzell and released by Columbia Pictures in 1950, the film spins a romantic comedy with surprising undertones of social commentary, wrapped in the polished charm of post-war American cinema. Russell plays the fiercely independent Dean Susan Manning of Benton College, a woman whose career and reputation are suddenly—and inconveniently—tangled in a fabricated scandal involving globe-trotting anthropology professor Michael Burke (played with whimsical charm by Ray Milland).

Dramatically, the film is a comedy of mistaken identity, gender politics, and institutional propriety. Susan Manning is portrayed as intelligent, respected, and emotionally guarded—a woman shaped by her position in a male-dominated academic world. When she's linked—falsely and publicly—to a man she’s never met, the intrusion into her carefully curated professional life sets off a series of comic yet revealing events. The film subtly plays with themes of repression and liberation, particularly through Susan’s reluctant transformation from rigid administrator to a woman discovering the thrill of spontaneous emotion.

Socially, the film serves as a snapshot of post-war gender expectations. Women like Susan, in powerful positions, were rare both onscreen and off, and the narrative doesn't shy away from the tensions that arise when a woman is seen as too authoritative. Her struggle to maintain dignity while being thrust into the public eye as a romantic figure speaks volumes about societal discomfort with female autonomy. Meanwhile, Michael Burke represents the “acceptable” male nonconformist: charming, unconventional, yet ultimately devoted to the pursuit of love and truth. Their dynamic becomes a metaphor for reconciliation between independence and intimacy.

CommerciallyA Woman of Distinction didn’t achieve blockbuster status but enjoyed respectable success thanks to its high-profile leads and screwball energy. Rosalind Russell was, by then, an established star, having already earned multiple Oscar nominations. The studio wisely banked on her ability to elevate even modest material, and audiences responded well to her chemistry with Milland. However, it was perhaps too “brainy” for mass audiences seeking broader escapism, limiting its lasting commercial footprint.

Geographically, the film uses its academic setting—filmed on location at Occidental College in Los Angeles—as a character in itself. The ivy-clad campus, polished lecture halls, and chaste dormitories contrast sharply with the chaotic intrusion of tabloid romance and paparazzi. Meanwhile, scenes set in New York City offer a fast-paced, urban foil to the cloistered world of academia. These locations aren’t just backdrops; they underscore the collision of public and private life, order and disruption, intellect and impulse.

Culturally, the film is a time capsule of the early 1950s, when American cinema was negotiating the return to normalcy after World War II. It speaks to the increasing visibility of women in professional roles, but also the narrative pressure to pair them off romantically by the final reel. While on the surface it's a breezy rom-com, it contains a quiet cultural critique: can a woman be respected and in love, brilliant and desirable, authoritative and soft? For 1950, A Woman of Distinction answers: maybe, but only if she’s played by Rosalind Russell.

🎥 TEN TRIVIA FACTS

  1. Rosalind Russell was already known for strong, fast-talking female leads from His Girl Friday and The Womenwhen she took this role.

  2. The film was originally titled Miss Manning’s Misunderstanding during early development.

  3. Ray Milland took the role shortly after winning the Academy Award for The Lost Weekend.

  4. Edward Buzzell, the director, was better known for musicals and light comedies, including several Marx Brothers films.

  5. The college scenes were shot at Occidental College, chosen for its quintessentially “East Coast” appearance despite being in California.

  6. The film plays with real-life gossip magazine tropes, parodying Hollywood publicity culture under the guise of academic satire.

  7. Rosalind Russell wore her own clothes for some of the campus scenes to reflect the character’s conservative professionalism.

  8. The film was one of the first comedies to mock university “celebrity culture” before it became a mainstream theme.

  9. The supporting role of the gossip columnist was modeled after famed real-life columnists Louella Parsons and Hedda Hopper.

  10. Though not a musical, the film features a whimsical original score by George Duning, a Columbia favorite of the era.

I Made a Vegan Upside-Down Sandwich Cake for My Birthday (and Then Drank...

Ever uploaded a sandwich cake *and* a nostalgic photo in the same day? 😂 In this cozy, chaotic, and very Swedish video, I do exactly that — and celebrate my birthday with my friend Martin along the way! 🎉🇸🇪

Join me behind the scenes of a typical morning as a full-time content creator living in Midsommarkransen, Stockholm. I start by editing yesterday’s Instagram Stories into today’s video content, prepping it for all platforms, and continuing my daily nostalgic ritual: uploading (and deleting!) the oldest photo on my iPhone. 📸✨

Then — birthday vibes take over! 🎂💫
I decide to surprise Martin with a homemade vegan smörgåstårta (sandwich cake). I brave the freezing May weather (seriously, where are my gloves?! 🥶) and bike to the store to buy everything I need:

* Pre-cut white bread
* Vegan potato salad
* Vegan seafood salad
* Fresh celery (for a wok recipe I’m obsessed with trying)

Back home, I build the cake upside-down in a container — a quirky and satisfying process that turns out beautifully when flipped. 🎂💁‍♂️

Martin arrives with an adorable birthday tray: vegan candy, vegan chocolate, and even a box of sangria! 🥳🍬 We kick off dinner with champagne served in *gin glasses* (yes, really — for “aroma reasons”), then I flip the cake and... IT’S A HIT! 🥂🎉

In Sweden, we say if your sandwich cake slice stands upright, you’ll get married. Ours immediately collapsed. So... cheers to being fabulous and single! 😂💔

We end the night with:

* A glass of rare green Chartreuse
* Too much wine 🍷
* And me giving Martin a pile of discarded winter jackets and belts, which he heroically hauls home on his bike 🚴‍♂️💼

If you love vegan food, Swedish traditions, funny vlogs, and theatre content, this is your kind of vibe!

📸 What if Sundays Were for Selfies, Not Shows?

What if the oldest photo on your phone wasn’t just a photo—but a whole *vibe*? ✨ This selfie 📱 was snapped outside the theatre 🎭 on **February 9, 2025**, just before a matinee. I'm layered up for a chilly Stockholm morning in my black furry double-breasted pea coat 🖤 (H\&M), that oversized green cotton hoodie 💚 from the Basquiat x Ev Bravado & Téla D'Amore x H\&M collab, my yellow-brown tartan baseball cap 🧢, iconic white square Re-Enchantment sunglasses 🕶️ from H\&M, and my trusty black JBL headphones 🎧—ready to start the day.

It's before noon ☀️, so definitely a matinee. Saturday or Sunday? Could be either. Two shows on Saturdays are brutal, but Sundays? Just one and done. 🙏 I’ve got a *love-hate* thing with Sunday shows. After a double day, your body craves rest 😴, but once you're in costume land 👕👗, the tempo's quick—like your hands already remember the quick-changes from yesterday 🪄.

When I started working as a dresser, matinees were *not* my fave. I was used to late nights 🌙 and sleeping in 🛏️. But now? I’ve made peace with them. They have their rhythm.

This photo reminds me how even a rushed morning can hold a quiet kind of confidence 💪. A moment where you say, *yep, I'm tired—but I'm showing up, in style.*

🎭 Featuring: Me, theatre energy, and just a little hint of Saturday night leftovers 🥱.

📍Taken in Midsommarkransen, Stockholm.

Funny, Real Day in My Life as a Theatre Dresser & Vegan Vlogger

Ever wonder what a real day in the life of a theatre dresser, costume supervisor, vlogger, and vegan foodie looks like? 🎭👨‍🍳 In this funny & relatable vlog, I’m sharing it all—from my editing routine to some seriously chaotic cleaning, and ending the day with wok-fried spicy celery you NEED to try! 😍

My day starts with ✂️ editing yesterday’s Instagram stories into a video for all my social channels. Then I upload it 💻 and add captions before sharing the oldest photo on my iPhone (my daily nostalgia ritual 😂). After I upload, I delete it to keep my feed fresh & nostalgic.

Next? It’s breakfast ☕️: cardamom tea & a bagel on my sunny (but freezing!) balcony in Midsommarkransen 🌇. Then I tackle cleaning my bedroom 🧹—but like always, everything I can’t find a place for ends up on my bed 🤯. One of my snake plants was so dusty I gave it a full shower 🚿!

Then I write captions for tonight’s love movie post 💖 and head to the kitchen for dinner: wok-fried spicy celery 🥬🔥, served with vegan dumplings 🥟. I used my iPad to follow my own blog recipe while cooking 👨‍🍳.

Ingredients: celery, garlic, soy sauce, Shaoxing rice wine, crispy chili oil & more. This stir-fry transforms celery into a crunchy umami bomb. Full recipe on my blog!

After dinner, I realize—everything’s STILL on my bed 😅. I finally stash my winter hats on top of the wardrobe 🙌. Then it’s time for my workout while watching an AI-enhanced PBS video of *Crazy For You* (1999), and the AI faces were hilariously distorted 😂😂. I couldn’t stop laughing—definitely an AI fail!

I live in Midsommarkransen, Stockholm, working backstage at a musical while creating content about vegan cooking, theatre, vlogging & style. Every day, I upload a new video + the oldest photo on my iPhone (then delete it!). It’s a fun way to stay nostalgic & fresh.

What if Vases Could Whisper Stories?

✨ On February 8, 2025, amidst the bustling costume shop of the theater, I captured a moment that has since become a cherished memory. Two vibrant glass vases stood gracefully on the ironing board—one a sunny yellow, the other a bold orange. Their unique design, reminiscent of stacked inner tubes or perhaps a whimsical caterpillar, caught my eye and my heart.

🌟 These are the KÄLLARHALS vases, masterpieces by designer Anna Efverlund. Originally introduced in IKEA's 1995 catalog as SNURRA, they've been reimagined in the Nytillverkad collection, blending nostalgia with contemporary flair.

🛍️ That Saturday, between two shows, I ventured to IKEA City in Gallerian, Stockholm—a ritual I share with my colleague Johanna. Our tradition? Treat ourselves to something special. These vases were my pick, a splash of color and joy to brighten my space.

🌞 Placed by the window, they dance with sunlight, casting playful shadows and evoking memories of that day. They aren't just decor; they're storytellers, encapsulating a slice of life, art, and tradition.

🎭 As a content creator, moments like these fuel my passion. They remind me that beauty lies in the details, in the stories behind everyday objects.

Ever wonder how content creators manage it all? 🎥✨

Ever wondered how a content creator manages editing, uploading, cleaning, and still fits in a delicious vegan meal? 🎥✨ In today’s cozy vlog, I take you through a full day in my life living in Midsommarkransen, Stockholm 🇸🇪 as a vlogger, content creator, and theatre costume supervisor 🎭.

The day kicks off with me editing yesterday’s Instagram Stories 📲 so I can upload them across all my social media platforms. Then it’s over to my computer 💻 to upload the finished video and write out the descriptions ✍️. I also continue my quirky tradition of uploading the oldest photo on my iPhone 📸 before deleting it forever 🗑️ – it’s a fun way to keep my feed nostalgic but fresh!

After all the digital work is done, it’s time for brunch 🍽️ out on my balcony 🌸. It’s technically spring here in Sweden, but it’s still chilly 🥶 – nothing a warm sweater can’t fix! I enjoy the fresh air, even if the breeze has a bite 🌬️.

But then reality sets in: the apartment needs cleaning 🧹 and I don’t even know where to start 😅. So I ask ChatGPT 🤖 for advice. The answer? “Start with the kitchen.” So that’s what I do! I crank up my favorite podcasts on my Bluetooth speaker 🔊 while washing dishes 🍽️, wiping counters 🧽, recycling ♻️, and mopping the floors 🧼.

When the kitchen sparkles ✨, I ask ChatGPT again: “What next?” – “Clean the living room.” So I move on, vacuuming rugs 🏠, fluffing pillows 🛋️, and trying to organize everything even though I haven’t figured out a spot for everything 🪴. That’s honestly my biggest challenge: finding a home for every item 🧩.

Lunch is a quick bowl of instant noodles 🍜. Dinner’s a feast of crispy vegan smashed potatoes 🥔, vegan schnitzel 🥒, pickles 🥒, and a zesty Korean cucumber salad 🥗 – simple, satisfying, and plant-based deliciousness 🌱.

To wind down, I light some candles 🕯️ and soak in a steamy, relaxing bubble bath 🛁 before wrapping up the day feeling refreshed.

Living in Midsommarkransen, Stockholm, I work behind the scenes as a dresser and costume supervisor at a musical theatre 🎶. My passions include vlogging 🎬, vegan cooking 🥑, theatre 🎟️ and style 👗. Every day, I upload a daily video and post the oldest photo on my iPhone before deleting it – my way of keeping my feed nostalgic yet evolving 📷.
