From the 12th floor of @bestwesternmalmoarenahotel, I wake up to Malmö’s skyline, Turning Torso gleaming in the morning sun 🌅, Öresundsbron stretching like a silver ribbon to Copenhagen 🇸🇪🌉🇩🇰. Living right above @malmoarena means I fall asleep to stage magic & wake up to serenity ✨. And that’s before breakfast 😋🌱☕️
Downstairs at Percy’s, the hotel’s restaurant, I devour a dreamy vegan breakfast 🥐🍓🍞—fresh fruit, warm bread, creamy oat lattes, and even vegan cheese 🧀🍇. Staff? So kind 💁♀️✨. Lunch and dinner? Absolutely delicious 🍝🥗. And @krall_entertainment, especially @tobiaseliasson, @andreakrall & @sophiastolpe? ✨✨✨ Angels with clipboards 😇📋
Post-breakfast, it’s adventure time with coworkers David & Johanna 🚴♂️🚴♀️. We rent bikes, glide from Hyllie to central Malmö, and hop into pedal boats 🚤💦—aka “cykelbåtar”—for a floating tour through Malmö’s canals.
We pass Malmöhus Castle 🏰 (once a war prison!), Moderna Museet 🎨, lush parks 🌸🌳, and historic bridges. Malmö was Danish until 1658 🇩🇰, has more bikes than cars 🚲, and Turning Torso? The world’s first twisted skyscraper 🌀. It also hosts Sweden’s second-biggest Pride 🏳️🌈, has Zlatan roots ⚽, and a sizzling vegan food scene 🍜🌮
