In this episode I meet Martin in Örnsberg, at his boatclub, for lunch and a swim, and then I help him tidy up and organize his boat and he also, involuntarily, gets his drag name. Then I bike to Systembolaget, the government run liquor store, where I buy Pimm’s, Tequila and Rosé. And back home I mix a classic Pimm’s and Lemonade, and while I take a long, hot bubble bath, I have a Frozé.
Frozé:
Ingredients:
375 ml rosé wine
1/2 cup syrup
1/2 dl vodka
3 tablespoons juice from fresh lime
Do this:
Freeze the rosé wine in ice cubes. It is also possible to pour directly into a zip-lock bag (1l.) Which you freeze in a sorbet.
2. Mix the ice cubes of rosé wine in a blender together with the syrup, lime juice and vodka.
Serve in beautiful glasses.
RECIPE FOR CLASSIC PIMM'S AND LEMONADE
Ingredients:
Ice to fill the jug
200 mL Pimm's No 1
600 mL chilled carbonated lemonade
1 sprig mint leaves
1 small cucumber, sliced
1 medium orange, cut
1/2 cup hulled and halved strawberries
