The suspense was killing me! I had to perform a little "subway surgery" on the box, revealing a classic Mickey Mouse tee—a touch of Disney whimsy for the workday. 🐭

Once at the theatre, I enlisted the help of our resident makeup artist, the fabulous David Julio, to help me sift through the loot. We found a sleek black dinner jacket from the H&M Conscious Collection. It looked incredible, but the fit? Let's just say it’s a lesson in "sample size" reality! 📏 We followed that with a stunning dark green velvet suit from H&M Studio—a color so deep it belongs in a Victorian novel. 🌲 But the true showstopper was the H&Moschino bag in the shape of a contraceptive. It’s the kind of wit the world needs more of! 💊 We rounded out the haul with leopard print towels and giraffe Converse—animalia is always in fashion! 🦒 Amidst the flying dust of the rehearsal, I sat down with our production assistant Lisa to gossip about the economics of Christmas. What is the most expensive thing you gave? What was the most expensive thing you got? 💸 It’s a fascinating look at the value we place on our rituals. Did I wake up before the sun to work on a secret project that involves tiny horses and red barns? 🐐🐴 The answer is a resounding yes! This vlog gives you a tantalizing, behind-the-scenes glimpse into a full-day, highly exclusive film/photo shoot that required extreme dedication, a full crew of fabulous friends, and a lot of caffeine! I promise you a peek into the glamour and the grind of content production, a deep dive into creative collaboration, and the emotional connection of working on passion projects. The alarm clock was an utter horror at 4:30 AM! 😫 The journey began in the pitch black of the Swedish morning, cycling through the darkness to meet the others at 6:30 AM outside David's building. This is the unglamorous reality of set life—it demands early starts and total commitment.

THE SECRET LOCATION & COZY SWEDISH VIBE

I met up with my team: my dear makeup artist, David, and our former colleague, Leia. We were picked up by the wonderful costume designer, Anna Hagert, and driven to our mysterious location somewhere outside the city in Täby. What we found was utterly charming: a small, preserved village with classic red barns and picturesque cottages 🏡. It genuinely felt like stepping into an old Swedish storybook! Another former colleague, Johanna, arrived ready to start the meticulous work of makeup, completing our dream team! 💄🎨

BEHIND THE SCENES: THE GRIND

The day was simply fabulous, but the lack of sleep hit me hard! My body's response was to demand constant fuel, turning me into a delightful grazer! 🍩🍪 Thankfully, Lisa and Lovisa had prepared an absolutely magnificent spread of snacks! This segment shows the incredible importance of a good production assistant and great catering on any set! This video solves the problem of feeling isolated in your creative endeavors by showing the power of teamwork and collaborative energy.

Now, the painful truth: I cannot, under any circumstance, reveal the actors, the beautiful costumes, or the precise nature of the shoot. But trust me, my dears, the aesthetic was cozy, professional, and entirely captivating! I can, however, share one delightful detail: the location was a working farm, complete with the sweetest goats, curious cats, and tiny horses! 🐐🐴🐈

The long, creative day wrapped at 5:00 PM 🕔, and we drove back through the darkness. It's straight to bed for me—another early start looms!

Living Above Malmö Arena?! Hotel Tour + Vegan Theatre Life on the Road 🎭🌱

Inside life on tour at MALMÖ ARENA 🎭✨ Ever wondered what it’s like living on top of a major arena while transforming it into a full-blown musical theatre? Buckle up and come behind the scenes with me! 🎬💥

This leg of our tour lands us in Malmö, Sweden 🇸🇪, and I’m staying twelve floors up at the stunning Malmö Arena Hotel 🏨—literally right above the venue where we’ll soon be performing! I open the curtains every morning to one of the most spectacular views you could imagine: the Malmö skyline 🌆, the Turning Torso spiraling into the sky 🌀, the legendary Öresundsbron 🌉 stretching into the distance, and on a clear day, Copenhagen itself 🇩🇰✨. It’s breathtaking—every single time.

My morning begins in the best way possible: with a dreamy, fully vegan breakfast buffet at Percy’s Restaurant 🌱🥐. The selection is incredible—from fresh fruit 🍓 and warm breads 🥖 to tofu scrambles and oat lattes ☕️. The staff here are absolute gems 💎, so friendly and welcoming, they’ve honestly become a part of my morning ritual. Today, I’m joined by Gustav, our brilliant sound engineer 🎧, and David, the makeup maestro 💄—nothing like good company and a hot meal to start the day.

Then it’s straight to the arena, which is in full transformation mode 🏗️. What’s normally a sports venue is becoming a working theatre: lighting rigs being hoisted into place 💡, curtains strung up 🎭, massive set pieces assembled piece by piece 🔩. Everyone is in hard hats 🚧 (yes, I look ridiculous—but it’s the law 😅). There’s a real thrill in watching it all come together in just a matter of days.

And none of this would be possible without the powerhouse production company Krall Entertainment 🙌—massive props to Tobias, Andrea, and Sofia for handling everything with such precision and care. They keep us grounded while the stage rises around us 💪.

Lunchtime? Back to Percy’s 🍽️. Today’s vegan buffet includes spaghetti with rich “meat” sauce 🍝 and a colorful array of salads 🥗. I may or may not go back for seconds (and thirds… don’t judge 😅). Still waiting on our costume trunks to arrive, so we take the chance to explore Emporia, Hyllie’s massive shopping centre 🛍️.

And wow—Emporia is a vibe. With its rainbow glass entrance 🌈, flowing interior architecture, and a rooftop garden blooming with flowers 🌸 and quiet corners, it’s the perfect distraction. I grab a matcha 🍵, wander through some stylish boutiques 👕, and soak in the calm before the backstage storm.

This is what touring theatre looks like: a mix of early call times, glamorous makeup mirrors, hard hats, pasta overloads, spontaneous mall adventures, and curtain calls waiting in the wings 🎟️🎬. It’s chaotic, magical, and filled with heart 💫.

On September 19, 2024, the theatre buzzed with a hush-hush energy. 

A secret photo shoot was underway as Claes Malmberg officially stepped into the role of *Gottfrid*, taking over from the legendary Tommy Körberg. 👬✨

In the first image, we’re in the wig atelier with brilliant makeup artist and wig designer David Julio – sitting in the makeup chair due to his knees but fully focused on styling Tuva B. Larsen’s bouncy blonde curls. 👱‍♀️🎀 His striped shirt with red buttons is a character in itself! 😄👕

Then we hit the stage: Photographer Mats Bäcker captures the cast – Sanna Nielsen, Claes Malmberg, Tuva B. Larsen, and Lindy Larsson – in full costume under the golden glow of our beloved art deco theatre. 🏛️🎞️ The look, the light, the legacy.

The energy builds with a touching moment: Körberg and Malmberg in *identical costumes*, hugging like two generations of the same soul. 🤍👴👨‍🦳 Those images say more than words ever could.

In the final shots, the ensemble stands proudly outside the theatre, costumes gleaming in daylight, posing under the show’s poster – a full-circle moment that still gives me goosebumps. 🌟📷

This moment marks a passing of the torch, a celebration of legacy and fresh beginnings – captured in quiet corners and grand poses alike. It’s more than theatre. It’s family. ❤️🎬
