Trying to Drill into Ulf’s Bedroom Wall (And Stay Friends) | DIY Vlog + ...

Can we drill through a wall, eat noodles, hang picture rails, and still stay friends? 😅 Welcome to the ultimate real-life home improvement vlog featuring my fabulous friend Ulf, a Pantone gift, and a whole lot of chaos.

In this episode, I head over to Ulf’s to help install THREE picture rails in his bedroom. Before the work begins, I bring gifts—adorable mini trays from Pantone—and some grocery treats: vegan ice cream, chili oil, and instant noodles for our late-night DIY feast 🍜🌶️🍦 We also do a quick stop at Tiger of Copenhagen where I pick up a sleek new clear iPhone case.

While riding the elevator, I test out what I’d look like with enhanced lips (thankfully just a mirror trick!) 💋👄 Then we dive into the drilling challenge. The walls? Rock solid. Ulf? Multitasking with a vacuum like a legend 💨 So no footage of the drilling action—but trust us, it was intense!

Eventually, we treat ourselves to some red wine 🍷, then get back to work with TWO drills from different decades 🛠️⚙️ It’s practically a tool symphony! 🎶

Then Ulf surprises me by wanting to hang a bamboo beaded door curtain. He even gives me his old one, which I’m totally hanging in my hallway—it’s pure vintage cool 🚪🌿

After all the effort, we collapse on the couch, devour our noodles and ice cream, and binge a few episodes of HACKS—the ultimate comfort TV 💻💅

What starts as a quick home project turns into a funny, exhausting, and totally charming day of friendship, vegan food, design fails, and teamwork.

This day-in-the-life vlog is equal parts chaotic, hilarious, and oddly relatable — perfect for anyone who loves vegan food, theatre life, balcony drama, and a bit of neighbor gossip.

oin me in Midsommarkransen, Stockholm as I kick off the day editing yesterday’s Instagram Stories into something actually postable across all my platforms. Then it’s off to my laptop to upload the final cut, write the captions, and — as part of my daily routine — share the oldest photo on my iPhone before I delete it forever. It keeps my feed nostalgic and fresh at the same time 📱📤

Then I head out for groceries and swing by the local shop to pick up a second-hand Jimmy Choo x H&M wallet I snagged on Vinted — sustainable AND stylish. Back home, it’s spy time: I’ve become increasingly obsessed with my neighbors. Is the man gay? Is the woman his mom? I try to pretend I’m “busy on the balcony” by untangling fairy lights while secretly watching them like a character in a sitcom 😅

Also in today’s adventure: I’ve been helping my friend Ulf clean out his storage space. As a thank-you, I got a bright orange wire grid stool… that sadly turns out to be too tall for my balcony. Still, it’s a mood.

April in Sweden has been relentlessly gray and wet, so I’ve taken to calling it *Greypril* — which honestly feels more accurate. Somewhere in my apartment, a wooden rod has mysteriously disappeared and it’s driving me slowly insane 🪵😵‍💫

To cheer myself up, I make savory oatmeal waffles topped with vegan crème fraîche, vegan kaviar, and finely chopped red onion. So Scandinavian. So delicious. So very me.
