The day began in my own chic neighborhood of Midsommarkransen with a highly anticipated visit to the newly opened WRAPZ. Naturally, one must support local businesses, and I acquired a rather marvelous vegan wrap to fuel the journey. It was utterly satisfying and the perfect on-the-go meal. Then, it was off to the train station with my friend Martin! Our destination: Norrköping! This city is a hidden gem for both history and, as we discovered, fabulous thrifting! Our first order of business was some enthusiastic second-hand shopping. We scoured the racks, proving that the most magnificent garments often already have a story. We then visited the architectural wonder that is Industrilandet (the Industrial Landscape), where we were met by our marvelous friend, Magnus. It’s an absolutely stunning, moody backdrop for a quick bit of sightseeing. It's a must-see if you ever find yourself in this part of Sweden! 🏭
After all that bustling activity, a moment of respite was necessary. We landed at the delightfully charming vegan cafe, Tasse. Oh, the sheer pleasure! We indulged in delicious food, perfectly brewed coffee, and a decadent cake. This cafe is a true find and a stellar recommendation for anyone looking for plant-based excellence in Norrköping. Finally, the main event! The whole reason for our charming excursion: the musical UNFORTUNATE!
