Ever try something on and just know it’s meant for you? This is the oldest photo on my iPhone, taken on October 20, 2024, inside the H&M changing room on Sergelgatan, Stockholm. I’m wearing a matte black sequin shirt I ended up buying—and still wear often. The year before, they had the same shirt in glossy sequins. I bought that too. When you find sequin pieces that actually fit a guy? You stock up. 🖤✨
I’ve always said sequins are my version of punk. Not ripped denim and studs, but sparkles that shout no thanks to the bland, the beige, the safe. It’s a quiet rebellion in shimmer form. You can even see the edge of my turquoise and blue fake leopard fur jacket poking into the frame—it’s not subtle, and that’s exactly the point. 🐆💙
This was taken between two Saturday shows. I know because I’m wearing my black work trousers—crew dress code backstage. Actors wear costumes. We wear black. I always try to step out between shows, breathe a little fresh city air, change the energy, maybe pick up a new identity in a changing room mirror. 🛍️🎭
This shirt reminds me to keep shining, especially on the in-between days. Sometimes creativity comes from these strange little moments—between scenes, between costumes, between versions of yourself. 💫💃
Even now, every time I wear it, I feel that same energy: bold, weirdly grounded, and unapologetically me. Fashion should do that. Or at least remind you that life isn’t meant to be muted.
If this hits something in you—say hi. Or tell me your version of sequins. Drop a comment, and keep showing up in your shine. New content every week. 🎥💬💖✨
