In this fun and lively video, I start my day editing yesterday’s Instagram stories for all my social media platforms. After that, I head to the vegan café Kafé Plattan to meet my friends Staffan, Majsan, and Martin. We’re all excited because we’re about to watch a preview of the play *Konstellationer* (Constellations) by Nick Payne. The production stars Helena af Sandeberg and Linus Troedsson, directed by Linus Fellbom.
At the café, Martin struggles to choose what to order—blame his Libra indecisiveness! Meanwhile, I make my choice quickly: a delicious vegan Philly cheese steak wrap, paired with a coffee and a raspberry vanilla cake. The café has such a cozy vibe, perfect for pre-theatre conversations with friends.
When the play starts, I’m captivated by its emotional depth and clever storytelling. Helena and Linus give phenomenal performances, though I find myself wishing for a slightly lighter tone overall. It’s thought-provoking, beautifully staged, and a perfect way to spend an afternoon.
Later, I return home and find the massage gun I got from Ulf last night when I was helping him clean out his kitchen cupboards. A thoughtful gift and a useful one—I’ll definitely need it after today’s adventures!
Life in Midsommarkransen, Stockholm, is always eventful. Between my work as a dresser and costume supervisor at a musical theatre, my love for vegan cooking, and my passion for theatre, there’s never a dull moment. Every day, I share my experiences through videos, and I upload the oldest photo on my iPhone to keep my feed both nostalgic and fresh.
Have you seen *Konstellationer* or tried vegan treats at Kafé Plattan? Let me know in the comments!
