What if... painting your kitchen was more work than you expected?

Throwback to **June 15, 2024**, in my **Midsommarkransen kitchen** 🎨🏡. The mission? **Transforming my cabinets** from a dull, depressing **ugly green** into a **bright, cheerful white**. Easy, right? **WRONG.** 😂  

 What I thought would be a **quick paint job** turned into a **three-day battle** 🥵. Turns out, white paint doesn’t cover ugly green in one coat. **Or two. Or three.** It took FOUR coats (thanks, Rusta, for selling me all that paint 🎨). And, as you can see... **I completely ignored the dishes** 🍽️😅. Usually, I’m not this messy—I swear!

Now that I’ve lived with these cabinets for a while, I’ve realized something: **matte white is a NIGHTMARE to clean.** 🧽😵‍💫 So... maybe this summer, I’ll be repainting them in a glossy white. Maybe. Probably. **Let’s see how motivated I feel.** 😂
