My Tuesday (in the last vlog) was all about collecting the "proof"—rent receipts, payslips, and bills 🧾—to verify that I am who I say I am, as my passport and ID expired way back in March. This Wednesday was the day to finally present this mountain of paperwork to the authorities!

THE BIKE RIDE TO THE BUREAU

The journey to the Passenheten (Passport Bureau) in Skärholmen was an adventure itself! I decided to cycle, but the designated bike lane was completely torn up. This forced me to go "off-piste," taking my bike into a muddy wooded area to find the rest of the path! 🚴‍♂️ It was a funny, frustrating, but memorable Stockholm cycling experience.

The man at the bureau was incredibly nice and thorough. He gave my paperwork the green light! 🎉 But here’s the twist: because my documents were so old, the final step required a friend to physically accompany me to a different passport bureau to formally verify my identity! A true act of friendship! 🤝

IKEA FAIL & FRIENDSHIP TRIUMPH

After the bureau, I headed straight to IKEA to pick up some IVAR shelving for an ongoing home organization project. 🛒 I loaded the car, drove home, and only then realized the classic IKEA FAIL: I was missing one single shelf! 😩

But the day was not yet over! I found out a central passport unit on Söder was open until 7 PM. I immediately called my amazing friend Ulf, who, without hesitation, agreed to meet me there after his workday to fulfill the role of "Identity Verifier"! His act of friendship officially completed the saga! Thank you, Ulf!

THRIFT HAUL & RELAXATION

Finally free, I stopped by the Coop Post Office to collect one last Sellpy box! This small haul included a stylish Morris x H&M T-shirt and some cheerful red H&M shorts 🔴—perfect for the transition of seasons.
