I MISSED THE WILDEST BACKSTAGE GAME EVER TO BUY AN ACTOR'S RING—AND WAS ...

Did I skip a legendary theatre betting game just to buy jewelry, and why did this "hurricane" feel like a gentle breeze? You won't believe the drama (and comedy) that unfolded during our two-show Saturday! 😅🎬

Welcome back to the chaos! If you love getting an honest, behind-the-scenes look at the life of a content creator who juggles theatre work with vlogging, this video is for you. Today was one of those exhausting but hilarious two-show Saturdays, all while waiting for a supposed natural disaster named Hurricane Amy to hit. Spoiler alert: the storm was a spectacular disappointment—it started as nothing more than a bit of wind. The things we worry about! 💨

Before the day truly got underway, I was in a determined state of decluttering. I’m continuing my massive purge for my Sellpy haul and found a spectacular item to donate: a black mesh shirt. It's a gorgeous piece, but darling, one must keep the momentum going! If you're struggling to let go of clothing, hopefully, my little segment on selecting items for second-hand sale gives you the push you need. It’s all about sustainable style and making room for new adventures. ✨♻️

Backstage, the fun officially began with our notorious Roulette game. For those new here, it’s where we all bring in one wrapped item we don’t want from home, and someone wins the delightful junk! Our makeup man, David, taught me the most ridiculous life hack: the Swish money transfer app actually plays music when you use it! Who knew banking could be a soundtrack? 🎶💳

I decided to try filming a quick comedy sketch I've been planning: "The Too Drunk Man at the Nobel Banquet." The results? You'll have to watch, but let's just say my inner character actor was fully unleashed. It’s a great example of how I try to sneak in little creative projects in between the demands of the show.

Right before the Roulette drawing, I had to sprint out to buy a very specific ring for one of our actors. Talk about high-stakes errands! I asked David to place my "bet" on the Roulette for me. The result? I missed the actual moment, but the consensus was clear: Per won! And what did he take home? A highly impractical but utterly charming clothes hook shaped like a hot air balloon. The sheer uselessness of it is what makes the game so brilliant. 🎈🤣

As the second show wrapped, the weather finally decided to deliver, but not as a hurricane—just as a heavy, glorious downpour. Suddenly, biking home was out of the question. Thankfully, I was saved by the most mysterious object in the theatre's collection: a perfect, branded umbrella from the Best Western Malmö Arena Hotel that somehow ended up amongst our costumes. It’s a perfect illustration of how unpredictable and odd life backstage truly is. So, it was the subway for me, dry and slightly bewildered by the hotel umbrella's origins. ☔️🚇

If you found this little slice of my life charming, or if you simply adore the backstage stories, please consider subscribing! It truly helps this little channel grow. Tell me, what’s the weirdest thing you’ve ever won in a gift exchange? 👇
