This is the oldest photo on my iPhone, taken on May 28, 2024, right here in my bedroom 🛏️. It features my just reassembled *Ivar Bokhylla*—the IKEA bookshelf I used to have in my kitchen 🍽️. After spending a couple of years in storage in the basement 🏠, I realized I could repurpose it for something more practical. So, I brought it back upstairs and turned it into a creative clothes storage solution 👕👚.
I even used an old broom handle as a clothes bar, perfect for hanging up my shirts 🧥. The narrow side of the bookshelf? Ideal for storing shoes 👟! It’s funny how something once used for books has now become such an essential part of my everyday routine. I guess this photo captures that moment of repurposing and reimagining what we already have in our spaces ✨.
Every time I look at this photo, I’m reminded of how adaptable we can be when we need to make the most out of what’s available to us 🌱. It’s a great reminder to get creative and resourceful. Plus, it’s a perfect example of turning what might seem like clutter into something functional and stylish 💡.
