What happens when backstage theatre life collides with the perfect summer’s day?

This vlog takes you from the dim velvet wings of the theatre to the sparkling waters of Stockholm’s docks – and it’s every bit as unpredictable as life itself. If you’ve ever wondered what it’s like to live between costume racks, stage secrets, and spontaneous summer adventures, you’re about to see it unfold.

🎭 Backstage at the Theatre
My day begins with the hum of sewing machines and the scent of fabric. I work as a dresser and costume supervisor, but today’s task is particularly whimsical: sewing an enormous two-by-two-meter bag. What for? For the “legs” of the theatre – those towering drapes that conceal the wings, also known as tormentors. Behind them lives the unseen choreography of stagehands, and I, with needle and thread, prepare the stage’s secrets for safekeeping.

🚴‍♂️ From Curtains to Sunlight
The moment the stitches are tied, I leave the theatre behind and take my bicycle out into the sunlight. Destination: the boat club at the docks, where my friend Martin waits. We swim – not racing, not laps, but treading water. Imagine it: the cool water supporting us as we float in conversation for an entire hour. The city around us hums, but in the water, time pauses.

🌯🍺 Holy Kebab at Telefonplan
After the swim, we bike again, laughter mixing with the turning of wheels. We arrive at HOLY KEBAB at Telefonplan – a cult spot for falafel and cold beer. 💾 After the edits, I upload a brand new video and my daily tradition continues: I find the oldest photo on my iPhone, post it to social media, then delete it 📸 It’s a fun, nostalgic way to keep my content fresh and my storage light 🧼

But let’s talk about this weather. It’s mid-June, but Stockholm feels like February ☔ I want sun, heat, summer dresses—anything but this! So I grab my bike and head into Hornstull 🚴‍♂️

🏡 At H\&M HOME, I find joy in small things: a yellow vase and two yellow bowls with a lemon pattern 🍋 plus a round tablecloth that brightens up my apartment immediately. I style them in my living room and windowsill, and suddenly the flat is giving *sunshine realness* even if the sky isn’t 🌤️

🍸 Since it’s June, Magnus and I are celebrating “June and Tonic” but I decide to get creative with my cocktail:

– 1 part Minttu

– 1 part Vodka

– 1 part Chocolate liqueur

– Shake over ice 🧊

It’s a Frozen Peppermint Hot Chocolate and it’s as fun as it sounds.

📞 Later I FaceTime Magnus, who’s enjoying a gin with rhubarb & raspberry tonic. We talk about new swimming spots in Stockholm and he introduces me to a concept I now need in my life: a *dry bag*—a waterproof bag you can float beside you while you swim! 🏊‍♂️👜

City Exploration:

Git, Johanna, and I take a swift four-minute train ride to Malmö City, heading to the Triangeln shopping mall. Before leaving, the hotel concierge, having seen my Instagram stories, offers a clothes rack for my room—a thoughtful gesture.

AB Småland Café:

In the heart of Malmö, we discover AB Småland café, a haven for sustainable shopping and delightful treats. Johanna and I indulge in some second-hand shopping, embracing eco-friendly fashion choices.

Back at the Hotel:

Returning to the hotel, we meet up with David and his husband P.M. True to their word, the hotel staff have placed a clothes rack in my room—organization achieved!

Arena Preparations:

As we head to the arena, actors Per Svensson and Gustav Levin find themselves navigating the backstage corridors. On stage, rehearsals focus on refining exits and entrances, ensuring a seamless performance.

Dinner and Final Run-Through:

Dinner at Percy’s features delectable vegan meatballs, potatoes, and lingonberries—a comforting meal before the final run-through. Everyone dons their costumes, though wigs and makeup are saved for the main event. The day concludes with notes in the greenroom, wrapping up a day filled with creativity and camaraderie.

Start your day with me as I pull back the curtain on what life looks like as a male content creator, vlogger, and influencer living in Midsommarkransen, Stockholm! 🎥 If you've ever wondered how creators juggle editing, posting, and planning fresh content every single day, this video’s for you.

The video kicks off with my morning editing ritual 💻 I transform yesterday’s Instagram Stories into a cohesive video to share across ALL my social media platforms: Instagram, TikTok, YouTube—you name it! After perfecting the edit, I sit down at my computer to upload the final cut and write descriptions tailored for each platform (like the one you're reading right now 😉)

But that’s not all. I also honor my daily tradition: every day, I upload the oldest photo on my iPhone 📲 post it to social media, and then delete it for good 😅 It’s a fun way to keep my feed both fresh and nostalgic—a little time capsule moment in every post.

Since it’s the last Wednesday of April 🌸 I needed to head outside and film fresh establishing shots for my videos—capturing everyday life around my neighborhood. Imagine scenes of people walking 🚶‍♂️ bikes cruising 🚴‍♂️ and cars passing 🚗 all adding cinematic texture to my content. I even invited my audience to vote on which shot I should use (spoiler: voting’s closed now, but watch to see which made the cut!)

Then I biked to pick up two exciting parcels 📦 One was from SELLPY, my favorite secondhand online store, and the other from H\&M. The H\&M box surprised me with a pair of chunky brown loafers 👞 (non-vegan, sadly). I decided to break them in immediately, wearing them on my bicycle trip to Dollarstore and Kungens Kurva 🛍️

Meanwhile, the SELLPY parcel was pure treasure: a raspberry red sweater from the Rabanne x H\&M collaboration ❤️ featuring a silver-threaded cutout at the shoulder ✨ a scarf from the Matthew Williamson x H\&M collab 🧣 a white hoodie from Rokh x H\&M 🤍 and a black faux leather vest lined with faux fur 🖤

Midway through, I get an email from Dollarstore advertising lemon-shaped placemats 🍋 Naturally, I text my friend Martin to tell him I *need* to go shopping. Turns out he needs boat wax 🚤 so he’s coming over to join the adventure in just an hour!

A Day of Editing, Unboxing & Balcony Cocktails | Stockholm Vlog

Join me for a fun-packed *Tuesday adventure* full of surprises, style, and springtime vibes in Stockholm! 🌸✨ In today’s video, I’m starting the day like I always do: editing my Instagram story clips from yesterday 📲✂️, polishing them up for Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts 🎥. Then it’s straight to my computer 💻 to upload the finished video, write the captions 📝, and—of course—keep my daily tradition alive by posting the oldest photo on my iPhone 📸 before deleting it 🗑️. This ritual keeps my feed feeling both fresh and nostalgic—love it!

But that’s just the beginning 👀... I find a surprise package waiting outside my door from SELLPY 📦: inside? Gorgeous brown boots from H\&M Studio 👢 and black shorts from the H\&M Innovation Circular Design Story collection (2021) 🖤.

Next, I bike 🚲 to visit Ulf and grab another online order on the way 🛍️. I sneak up and *scare the life out of him* 😈😱—so funny (don’t worry, we laughed a lot)! We settle on his sunny balcony ☀️ with DIY cocktails in glass jars 🍹: negroni, sidecar, and kamikaze. Ulf tries to guess every ingredient 🍋🍊, and he’s surprisingly good at it. Then we open my other package…an army-style jacket that’s way too tight 😬—for both of us, and eventually even Martin can’t squeeze in 🤣.

Ulf’s still limping from a dog-related fall 🐕‍🦺, but like a champ, he whips up delicious noodles with radishes 🍜. We chat about habits: Ulf’s “someday soon” plans to quit smoking 🚬 and my attempt to stop eating peanuts 🥜 (except when someone offers them…classic me 😂). We finish the day watching *Hacks* on Netflix 🎬💻—HIGHLY recommend if you haven’t seen it yet.

Back at the theatre, I find my old flashlight from *Chess*, the first show I ever worked on, back in 2002. 😎 That’s 23 years ago, y’all! 😱 As we strike the sets, I get a glimpse of the stage without its iconic trees painted on canvas—it's a whole new vibe. 🌲✨

But then, disaster strikes: I lose my reading glasses, and no matter how much I search, they’re nowhere to be found! 😩👓 Typical. 🙄 But through it all, I’m living my best life in my Midsommarkransen apartment and giving you a behind-the-scenes peek into my life as a dresser and costume supervisor in Stockholm! 🎭🌟

HOW I GOT TO A TEENY TINY THEATRE…

🎬 Start the day with me as I edit yesterday’s Instagram Stories for all my social media outlets ✂️📱. Once they’re polished, it’s time to upload them to YouTube 📤, write the descriptions 📝, and get everything ready before heading to the theatre! 🎭  

At work, David is on a mission: he needs a box 📦 big enough to fit a wig stand, a styrofoam head, and a BIG wig 👩‍🎤. The struggle is real! Meanwhile, I fuel up with a cozy vegan lunch: elbow macaroni with creamy béchamel sauce and IKEA’s famous vegan meatballs 🍝🌱. Perfection!  

Then, it’s time for a little *French flair*! 🇫🇷 I ask my coworker Johanna to recap our pre-lunch activities—but with a French accent. She absolutely nails it! 😂👌 Dinner? Well, it’s *déjà vu*, because I have the same meal again. No regrets!  

As night falls, I sneak out to Ö2scenkonst Kungsholmen, a tiny theatre on Bergsgatan 11 🎟️. Martin and I are here to watch *FÖRBJUD ALLA BLOMMOR* (*Ban All Flowers*) 🌸⛔. The show? Meh. But biking home is always an adventure! 🚴💨 We take a detour through Slussen, where we "liberate" a few posters from a wooden construction wall. 🎭🖼️ Martin and I part ways at a gas station in Aspudden ⛽—another day well spent!

HOW I GOT INTO AN EARL GREY BUBBLE BATH…

Ever tried turning old oatmeal into waffles? 🤔 Well, I did—and it worked perfectly… until I accidentally blew all the fuses in my apartment. 😂⚡️ But let’s rewind!  

I start my day editing yesterday’s Instagram stories for all my social media outlets 🎬, then it’s time for brunch: vegan chicken wings 🍗🌱 and crispy potato cakes 🥔✨. I’m challenging myself to *not* buy any groceries in March—just using up what’s in my freezer. So far, so good! 😆  

Next, I upload the oldest photo on my iPhone to my socials 📸, writing about my memories and thoughts before asking ChatGPT to turn it into an impressionistic image. And every single time—it’s *fantastic*! 🎨💭  

Then, it’s time to test the viral oatmeal waffle trick 🧇. Just pop cold porridge into a waffle maker and boom—crispy magic! ✨ But… in my attempt to clean the waffle maker, I got water in it, plugged it in, and *bam*—total blackout. 💡🙃 Luckily, it was an easy fix!  

Moving on to my viral series: **Swedish Word of the Day!** 🇸🇪 Today’s word? *Missade!* Missed it? Don’t worry, you’ll catch the next one! 😉  

After yesterday’s Dollarstore trip 🛍️, I try my new lavender & earl grey-scented shower gel in a luxurious bubble bath 🛁☁️. Absolute heaven. 😌💜

HOW I GOT MY MOIRA ROSE WIGS ON…

🚨 When your friend goes for a smoke break, and you turn his apartment into a *one-woman theatrical production* 🎭😂  

Ulf invited me over to his high-rise apartment in Liljeholmen for a chill night of *Schitt’s Creek* binge-watching 🍿📺. But while he was out on the balcony for *one of his many* smoke breaks 🚬, I seized the moment.  

Armed with an *arsenal of wigs* 💁‍♀️, I transformed into *Moira Rose* herself and gave an *iconic*, ChatGPT-generated retelling of *Little Red Riding Hood* 🐺❤️—in full Moira-isms, of course. *“Oh bébé, beware the lupine interloper!”* 😂✨  

Ulf came back mid-performance and was *deeply unamused* 🙄, but did that stop me? Absolutely not. The show must go on! 🎭😆  

Between *dramatic storytelling*, *questionable wig choices*, and Ulf’s *increasing regret* about inviting me over, this video has it all! Plus, a cozy night in, Netflix marathons, and a peek into life in Stockholm 🇸🇪💫.

HOW I GOT PORCELAIN SHARDS EVERYWHERE…

Chaos, creativity & a little bit of Liza 🎭✨ Started the day editing yesterday’s stories 🎥, then decided my avocado tree 🥑 needed a new home—back to the bathroom 🚿! But on the way… DISASTER! 😱 My beautiful black porcelain vase from H&M x The British Museum 🏺 met its tragic end on the floor. Porcelain shards everywhere! So unnecessary! 🫠💔  

After cleaning up the mess 🧹, I went out for a CO2 canister exchange for my SodaStream 🍾 and somehow ended up buying a ton of seeds 🌿. Guess it’s time for a herb garden? 🌱 Back home, it was time for *Swedish Word of the Day* 🇸🇪🎤—today’s word? Popcorn! 🍿  

The evening was all about inspiration: a documentary on Liza Minnelli 👑 and another on Bob Mackie’s dazzling designs ✨👗. Iconic!  

It was a good day. 💕
