👞 The Fashion Unboxing:
Before the theatre, I open a parcel from SELLPY, the second-hand wonderland. Inside: shoes from ACNE STUDIOS. Rich red, warm brown, suede, leather—perfection. And the price? 300 SEK (≈$27 / £21). New, they sell for 5000 SEK (≈$450 / £370). Darling, that’s not shopping, that’s victory.

🎭 Theatre Life:
At work, the rhythm of rehearsal continues—measured, beautiful, essential. Costumes waiting for actors, fabric waiting for movement. Backstage life is a world few see, but many dream about.

🚲 Bicycle & Repair:
Afterwards, I collect my bicycle from repair. Everything that could be fixed has been fixed, because nearly everything was broken. The poetry of restoration! A machine reborn, ready for the streets of Stockholm.

🛒 Everyday Adventure:
Then grocery shopping. It felt almost exotic, like stepping into a ritual long forgotten. Fresh produce, fluorescent lights, endless aisles. And in this mundane space, drama! A man approaches me—his backpack, stolen, with his iMac inside. He says he has tracked it and it is nearby. Suddenly the supermarket is no longer banal, but cinematic.

And then—reflection. What makes me happy? Details. Scarves that change an outfit. Popcorn seasoned just so. A theatre filled with laughter. Shoes found in second-hand glory. Happiness, you see, is never grand—it is stitched into the smallest, most beautiful fragments of a day.

My Life on Tour: Private Tram, Hotel Views, & Rehearsal Chaos in Gothenb...

Come behind the scenes of my touring life as we land in Göteborg for performances at Scandinavium Arena—AND get spoiled silly at the iconic Gothia Towers, 19 floors above the city skyline 🌇🎭

From the window of my room, I can see @lisebergab in full bloom 🎡—a daily reminder that this tour is anything but ordinary. We’re based at the beautiful @gothiatowers while performing across the street at @svandinaviumsarena. If that isn’t luxe enough, we’re eating incredible vegan and vegetarian meals thanks to the culinary wizards at @melkerssonsmat. 🥗🍛🍞 Every lunch and dinner is like an event of its own.

Our producers @krall_entertainment—especially @tobiaseliasson, @andreakrall, and @sophiastolpe—treat us SO well, and Sophia had one of the most charming ideas of the tour: she arranged for a private STREETCAR 🚋 to meet the cast at Göteborgs Centralstation after their break from Malmö Arena. Surprise!! We met them at the elegant Clarion Post Hotel near the station—a luxe venue known for its art-deco-meets-modern design, spa, rooftop pool, and unbeatable location. Then we all took a private streetcar journey up to Gothia Towers. Honestly? It felt like a musical number waiting to happen 💖

Unfortunately, a virus has been moving through the company, so tonight’s run-through was cancelled 😷 Instead, we shifted gears and rehearsed scenes featuring Isak Bendelin—who you might remember from our Stockholm shows. On tour, he’s now taking over the role usually played by Rolf Christiansen. He’s brilliant, and the scenes feel fresh and fun again!

After a fantastic dinner (thank you again @melkerssonsmat!), I head back up to my room and get ready for cocktail hour 🍸 in the first tower bar. Sparkly top? Check. City view? Check. Tour life magic? Always 💫

HILARIOUS Tour Life at Malmö Arena | Vegan Travel, Shopping & Backstage ...

Ever wondered what tour life really looks like for a musical theatre cast and crew? Welcome to my chaotic, glamorous, and hilariously relatable day at Malmö Arena 🎭✨

We’re staying right on top of the venue at the lovely Malmö Arena Hotel, and my twelfth-floor room gives me jaw-dropping views of Malmö, Turning Torso, Öresundsbron — and even Copenhagen. 🌇🌉🇩🇰

My day starts with an amazing vegan breakfast at Percy’s, the in-house hotel restaurant that’s a dream for anyone who’s plant-based 🌱☕️ It’s the first full day of the tour, and I’m feeling that post-runthrough exhaustion. But tour life doesn’t pause — it caffeinates and continues 😅

Lunch at Percy’s hits the spot with oumph, rice, and potatoes 🍛 Then it’s time for a shopping run to Emporia with my friend David — who, due to bad knees, bikes there… but forgets to stop and has to turn around 😂 Classic David!

On my end, I’m apparently turning heads in my Matthew Williamson x H&M sunglasses 😎 At Myrorna, I pick up second-hand white Nike sneakers 👟, a stainless steel face roller 💆‍♂️, and some under-eye masks for the ultimate self-care trio: me, David, and Johanna.

Dinner is vegan and gluten-free lasagna at Percy’s 🙌 Delicious. But the comedy doesn’t end: back at the hotel, I try to blip my keycard on the elevator button instead of pressing it. Exhaustion level = max 🤦‍♂️

Finally, I make my way to Malmö Arena for our big dress rehearsal. The magic of the show is real, but so are the in-between moments — the meals, the mishaps, the people 🫶

Located within the Malmö Arena Hotel, Percy’s offers a delightful vegan breakfast. Sharing the meal with Hjalmar, Moa, Johanna, and Git adds warmth to the morning.

City Exploration:

Git, Johanna, and I take a swift four-minute train ride to Malmö City, heading to the Triangeln shopping mall. Before leaving, the hotel concierge, having seen my Instagram stories, offers a clothes rack for my room—a thoughtful gesture.

AB Småland Café:

In the heart of Malmö, we discover AB Småland café, a haven for sustainable shopping and delightful treats. Johanna and I indulge in some second-hand shopping, embracing eco-friendly fashion choices.

Back at the Hotel:

Returning to the hotel, we meet up with David and his husband P.M. True to their word, the hotel staff have placed a clothes rack in my room—organization achieved!

Arena Preparations:

As we head to the arena, actors Per Svensson and Gustav Levin find themselves navigating the backstage corridors. On stage, rehearsals focus on refining exits and entrances, ensuring a seamless performance.

Dinner and Final Run-Through:

Dinner at Percy’s features delectable vegan meatballs, potatoes, and lingonberries—a comforting meal before the final run-through. Everyone dons their costumes, though wigs and makeup are saved for the main event. The day concludes with notes in the greenroom, wrapping up a day filled with creativity and camaraderie.

But before heading home—I stop by Stockholms Stadsmission at Liljeholmstorgets Galleria and find the most incredible secondhand tablecloth 🌺🟨🟪 It looks straight out of Sicily 🇮🇹 and adds a pop of Mediterranean joy to my little flat 🏠

Evening = screen time with snacks 🍕 I head to my friend Ulf’s where we watch HACKS on Netflix 🎬🍷🍫 We laugh, eat vegan pizza, and indulge in chocolate ice cream—because creators need downtime too 💛

Ever tried turning costume chaos and buffalo sauce into premium content? 🎥🍔 Welcome to *my* life! I kick off this whirlwind day in my Midsommarkransen apartment editing yesterday’s Insta stories for all my socials—because yes, every video deserves a little love before hitting the feed. 📲✨ Then it’s on my bike 🚲 and off to the theatre, where things are *wild*. The set is coming down, there’s a giant hole in the stage where the elevator used to be 😳, and it’s the final day of packing *everything* for our big tour. 👗🧳

Me and the fabulous Johanna Lysdahl are knee-deep in sequins, stilettos, and emergency extra costume boxes (because *you never know*). After two full weeks, this is it—our last push before we hit the road. 🛣️💼💃🏼

And of course, I treat myself to two banging vegan burgers from MAX, Sweden’s very own fast food pride 🇸🇪🍔 The buffalo sauce on one? 🤤 Game. Changer. Naturally, I Google the ingredients (vinegar, cayenne, garlic powder—you know the drill), then hit Johanna with the *Buffalo Sauce Challenge.* Can she name all six ingredients? 😅 Let’s just say it starts off strong… and ends in delicious disaster. 🌶️💥
