We’re on tour at Scandinavium in Gothenburg, staying luxuriously on the 19th floor of Gothia Towers with sweeping views of Liseberg 🎢. Lunch and dinner are culinary delights catered by @melkerssonsmat, while @krall_entertainment – Tobias Eliasson, Andrea Krall & Sophia Stolpe – ensure our every comfort. But the real adventure begins when life goes off script…

I dash into town to find stage shoes for Isak Bendelin, our late‑replacement actor subbing for Rolf Christiansen 👞. En route I pick up luxuries: a mint shower gel from The Body Shop to scent my lodgings, an iPhone stand from Tiger of Copenhagen for my vlogging setup, and nifty second‑hand shoes from Myrorna 👟♻️. But what seals the caper is the Lidl Stanley Cup sighting in the hands of stage manager Simon. I need one.

Unable to procure one myself – theatres and Lidl alike are sold out – I slip into melodramatic despair and post my plea on IG Story. Enter Per Svensson: actor, comrade, rescuer extraordinaire. He hops on a tram, acquires the coveted Stanley Cup, and delivers it to me within the hour. Cue tears of gratitude, laughter, and triumphant high‑fives 🥳.

We perform a smashing opening night show. Later there’s a modest soirée at the hotel bar, but I, ever the bore, retire early, chocolate biscuit in hand and cravat loosened, ready for bed 😌🍫.

First, breakfast. At Gothia Towers, they do buffet, not trays—so imagine three rounds of tray trips: coffee & juice, bread & muesli, then hot food refill. If you’re vegan like me, add manager meet‑and‑greet to request a special tray, wait forever, and then start building your plate. Some days it gets so tedious I don’t even bother 😅🌱☕🥣

To escape, I rented a month‑long bike through StyriStall (@styristall)—a month of rental, full Gothenburg bike fun. One morning I cycled downtown for clarity, fresh air, and to run errands. That errand? Shoe shopping mission.

Here’s why: Rolf, our Malmö cast cover for Gustav Levin, moved to Gothenburg mid‑tour (much closer now). So Isak Bendelin, who filled in in Stockholm wearing Jonas Schlyter’s shoes, is now shoeless because Jonas returned. Cue me escorting Isak to his own pair of stage kicks 👟👞

I rode downtown, found him, and let him choose the perfect stage-ready pair—mid-tour crisis averted ✅

Our producers @krall_entertainment—especially @tobiaseliasson, @andreakrall, and @sophiastolpe—treat us SO well, and Sophia had one of the most charming ideas of the tour: she arranged for a private STREETCAR 🚋 to meet the cast at Göteborgs Centralstation after their break from Malmö Arena. Surprise!! We met them at the elegant Clarion Post Hotel near the station—a luxe venue known for its art-deco-meets-modern design, spa, rooftop pool, and unbeatable location. Then we all took a private streetcar journey up to Gothia Towers. Honestly? It felt like a musical number waiting to happen 💖

Unfortunately, a virus has been moving through the company, so tonight’s run-through was cancelled 😷 Instead, we shifted gears and rehearsed scenes featuring Isak Bendelin—who you might remember from our Stockholm shows. On tour, he’s now taking over the role usually played by Rolf Christiansen. He’s brilliant, and the scenes feel fresh and fun again!

After a fantastic dinner (thank you again @melkerssonsmat!), I head back up to my room and get ready for cocktail hour 🍸 in the first tower bar. Sparkly top? Check. City view? Check. Tour life magic? Always 💫

We’re on tour with the show and currently performing at the iconic Scandinavium Arena in Gothenburg 🇸🇪, and staying in absolute style at the gorgeous @gothiatowers. My room on the 19th floor has a sweeping view of @lisebergab 🎡 and the city skyline, and the vibes couldn’t be better. 💖

In this second part of today’s vlog, my fabulous colleagues Johanna and David and I try out Gothenburg’s smart city bike app: STYR & STÄLL. For just 90 SEK per week, you get unlimited hour-long rides 🚲 — perfect for exploring the city with ease and flair 💨🧢.

We head downtown where Johanna absolutely splurges at Lush (four bath bombs later, she’s floating on lavender clouds) 🛁🌸, then we attempt to find our old pal Nils at the Saluhallen food market (spoiler: we don’t) 🧀🍓.

Back at the arena, we keep prepping the backstage area for tomorrow’s actor arrival — organizing costumes, setting up dressing rooms, and making the space shine ✨🎭.

Then, back to Gothia Towers, where we rediscover Johanna’s lost scarf and jacket in my room (she left them during last night’s wine soirée 🍷🧣), and we explore the terrifying-but-fabulous glass sky bridges connecting the hotel towers — complete with a transparent floor 😱🌉. It’s scary and chic at the same time.

Tour Life at Gothia Towers: Elevators, Slippers & Vegan Breakfast Fails ...

🎭 Life on tour is always an adventure… but nothing beats waking up 19 floors above Gothenburg with a front-row view of 🎡 @lisebergab! This week we’re performing at @svandinaviumsrena, living our best lives at the gorgeous @gothiatowers 💫 I mean, can it get better? Actually—YES! With 🔥 lunch and dinner from @melkerssonsmat and amazing care from @krall_entertainment and the fabulous @tobiaseliasson @andreakrall @sophiastolpe, we are spoiled .

My room is right next to the glass elevators—the best Liseberg view as you ride! 🎢 For fun, I named them: the left one is Queen SILVIA 👑 and the right one? ELLA VATOR, of course 😏.

Tiny drama: my heels betrayed me, so I’m living my tour life in… slippers 🩴😬 Stylish? No. Practical? Absolutely.

This is my third time performing at Skandinavium—first MAMMA MIA! 💃, then SÅ SOM I HIMMELEN 🎶, and now we’re back! The stage is up, the crew is buzzing ⚡️, and we’re ready to go. Meanwhile, poor Johanna on the 14th floor can’t even use the elevator—turns out it’s express-only! 🤯

My Gothenburg Tour Vlog: Hotel Goals, Vegan Fails & Theatre Prep 🎭

You won’t believe how I started my tour day in Gothenburg 😅✨ From a sky-high view at @gothiatowers to backstage chaos at @svandinaviumsrena – buckle up for a wild ride! 🚀

My first night at Gothia Towers was dreamy 💤 I’m staying on the 19th floor (!) with a postcard-perfect view over @lisebergab 🎡🌇 The pillows? Fluffy AF 😍 The duvet? I want to marry it 💍 And the floor in the bathroom is heated 🔥 Do I live here now?

Lunch and dinner are next-level thanks to @melkerssonsmat 🍲 Everything is delish and vegan-friendly 🌱 Plus the team from @krall_entertainment are angels in human form 👼 Big love to @tobiaseliasson, @andreakrall & @sophiastolpe who make this tour feel like home away from home 🧳❤️

Breakfast? Um… not vibing 😐 As a vegan I have to FIND a manager 🧍‍♂️, who then disappears into the kitchen like a culinary ninja 🥷 to get me soy yoghurt and plant milk. 10 minutes later: breakfast appears. It’s a saga. No thanks 😬

After the morning struggle, it’s time to glam up 💄, grab my essentials 🎒 and head over to @svandinaviumsrena for show prep! We set up the dressing rooms 👠, organize costumes 👗, and try to make backstage feel cosy 🌸 The vibe is unreal 🎭✨

In the evening, the amazing @sophiastolpe gives me a luftbro 🚗 (don’t ask – Gothenburg slang 🤓) downtown to TAVOLO 🍽️ With oversized decor, fab vibes and great vegan options 🌿, it’s the perfect spot to catch up with our director Markus Virta 🎬

I hop on the tram 🚋 and roll back to my hotel kingdom 👑 Full day, full heart 💕 Tour life is chaotic, hilarious, and everything I live for! 🎉

We’ve just landed in Gothenburg 🛬 and checked in to @gothiatowers (hello 19th floor view! 😍). From my room, I see @lisebergab and honestly, can it get any better? Yes, actually: an epic vegan breakfast 🌱, the kindest staff 🙌, and incredible meals thanks to @krall_entertainment and their dream team: @tobiaseliasson, @andreakrall & @sophiastolpe 💕

We wander down Avenyn 🏙️—Gothenburg’s version of the Champs-Élysées—with a detour to the majestic Poseidon fountain ⛲ where I reveal a cheeky little secret (👀🤫). After grabbing a juicy vegan hotdog 🌭 at Heden, I get blisters from my brand new shoes 👞😩. Then it’s G&Ts 🍸 at David’s room in tower 1, followed by wine 🍷 in mine. Content, carbs, and comedy = a perfect (but exhausting!) tour day.
