THE PARK WALK FASHION REPORT

Between shows, I grab my assistant Johanna for a much-needed walk across a nearby canal and into a local park 🌳 There we discover Gothenburg’s secret uniform: dirty pink pile jackets 🧥 Johanna’s sporting one too, unintentionally becoming a member of the pink puff pack 😆 It’s giving “budget trend” and we love it.

STAGE DRAMA

With Tommy Körberg out for the day, Joakim Jennefors steps into his role like a boss 🎤 But wait… our makeup artist David is suddenly promoted to stage manager 😳 Unfortunately, his knees aren’t quite on board with the plan. He limps through the day like a true theatre warrior 💪💄

What if NORMAL was anything but?

It started like any regular day in the costume shop – until Johanna returned from a “quick run” to NORMAL and turned our ironing board into a glittering snack runway 🤯🍞✨

📅 The photo was taken on October 18, 2024, right here at the theatre’s costume department in Stockholm. To properly show off her haul, we draped the ironing board in turquoise sequin fabric – obviously! 💎🧵

So what did she bring? One bag of garlic bread, one of truffle bread, baked squeezed pretzels, BBQ chips – and apples freshly picked from her family’s countryside home. 🍎🍏🍠 A full-on snack extravaganza, proudly featuring Johanna in her natural habitat: snack queen mode activated! 👑🛍️

👯 Johanna joined us as an assistant to me and our makeup artist David in autumn 2023, right when the current production started. Her humor, energy, and snacks will be deeply missed in the next, smaller production – there’s just no need for her role this time. But the great news? She’s coming back in autumn 2026 for our next big musical! 🎭💄🎬

HOW I GOT ALL THE COSTUMES MOVED AGAIN…

A day off? Not quite! 🎭☀️ The sun is shining, I'm wearing Caron Pour Un Homme 🌿✨, and it’s time to pack up all the costumes for an upcoming tour! 🚴‍♂️ Off I go on my bike to the theatre, where Johanna and I have a full day ahead of us. First, we haul every costume out of the dressing rooms and down to the basement (because, of course, every other room is taken! 🎭😅).  

While Johanna treks up to the attic, I tackle the laundry 🧺 and give you a little backstage tour! 🎬👀 Ever wondered what a theatre basement looks like? Spoiler: It's a labyrinth of forgotten props, costumes, and history. 🏛️✨  

I live in Midsommarkransen, a charming suburb of Stockholm 🏡, and work as a dresser & costume supervisor at a musical theatre. Every day, I post videos 🎥, and for a nostalgic twist, I also upload the oldest pic on my phone 📸—then erase it forever! 🔥💾
