I TRUSTED A “DRY BAG” AND PAID THE PRICE 😂💦

Darling, you’ve never seen a dry bag like this — mostly because it wasn’t dry at all. I, Joakim Clifton Bergman — male content creator, vlogger, and observer of life’s glorious little failures — take you along on a summer day in Stockholm that starts with a splash and ends under the stars. 🌇💦✨

I Made a Vegan Upside-Down Sandwich Cake for My Birthday (and Then Drank...

Ever uploaded a sandwich cake *and* a nostalgic photo in the same day? 😂 In this cozy, chaotic, and very Swedish video, I do exactly that — and celebrate my birthday with my friend Martin along the way! 🎉🇸🇪

Then — birthday vibes take over! 🎂💫

I decide to surprise Martin with a homemade vegan smörgåstårta (sandwich cake). I brave the freezing May weather (seriously, where are my gloves?! 🥶) and bike to the store to buy everything I need:

* Pre-cut white bread

* Vegan potato salad

* Vegan seafood salad

* Fresh celery (for a wok recipe I’m obsessed with trying)

Back home, I build the cake upside-down in a container — a quirky and satisfying process that turns out beautifully when flipped. 🎂💁‍♂️

Martin arrives with an adorable birthday tray: vegan candy, vegan chocolate, and even a box of sangria! 🥳🍬 We kick off dinner with champagne served in *gin glasses* (yes, really — for “aroma reasons”), then I flip the cake and... IT’S A HIT! 🥂🎉

In Sweden, we say if your sandwich cake slice stands upright, you’ll get married. Ours immediately collapsed. So... cheers to being fabulous and single! 😂💔

We end the night with:

* Too much wine 🍷

Ever wondered how a content creator manages editing, uploading, cleaning, and still fits in a delicious vegan meal? 🎥✨ In today’s cozy vlog, I take you through a full day in my life living in Midsommarkransen, Stockholm 🇸🇪 as a vlogger, content creator, and theatre costume supervisor 🎭.

The day kicks off with me editing yesterday’s Instagram Stories 📲 so I can upload them across all my social media platforms. Then it’s over to my computer 💻 to upload the finished video and write out the descriptions ✍️. I also continue my quirky tradition of uploading the oldest photo on my iPhone 📸 before deleting it forever 🗑️ – it’s a fun way to keep my feed nostalgic but fresh!

After all the digital work is done, it’s time for brunch 🍽️ out on my balcony 🌸. It’s technically spring here in Sweden, but it’s still chilly 🥶 – nothing a warm sweater can’t fix! I enjoy the fresh air, even if the breeze has a bite 🌬️.

But then reality sets in: the apartment needs cleaning 🧹 and I don’t even know where to start 😅. So I ask ChatGPT 🤖 for advice. The answer? “Start with the kitchen.” So that’s what I do! I crank up my favorite podcasts on my Bluetooth speaker 🔊 while washing dishes 🍽️, wiping counters 🧽, recycling ♻️, and mopping the floors 🧼.

When the kitchen sparkles ✨, I ask ChatGPT again: “What next?” – “Clean the living room.” So I move on, vacuuming rugs 🏠, fluffing pillows 🛋️, and trying to organize everything even though I haven’t figured out a spot for everything 🪴. That’s honestly my biggest challenge: finding a home for every item 🧩.

Lunch is a quick bowl of instant noodles 🍜. Dinner’s a feast of crispy vegan smashed potatoes 🥔, vegan schnitzel 🥒, pickles 🥒, and a zesty Korean cucumber salad 🥗 – simple, satisfying, and plant-based deliciousness 🌱.

To wind down, I light some candles 🕯️ and soak in a steamy, relaxing bubble bath 🛁 before wrapping up the day feeling refreshed.

To say thanks, Ulf treats me to a vegan 🍔 burger and crinkle fries at Bastard Burgers 😋. He even gifts me a stunning Diane von Furstenberg 🪴 flowerpot (originally 800 SEK 💸!) and drives a carload of goodies to my apartment while I bike home 🚴‍♂️.

Ever wondered what goes on in a day in the life of a vlogger who edits videos, writes vegan songs (with a little help from AI), battles glitchy apps, and somehow ends up dropping pizza on a white rug? This is that day 🍕🤦‍♂️💻

In this video, I kick off the morning in my cozy Stockholm apartment, editing my Instagram Stories from yesterday to repurpose across all my platforms—YouTube, TikTok, Instagram. I upload, write descriptions, and share the oldest photo on my iPhone (a daily tradition!), then erase it to keep things fresh and nostalgic 📲🧼✨

I even test out an AI songwriting tool (Suno.com) to help me pen a quirky tune about being vegan and another about aglio e olio. Spoiler: it's surprisingly catchy 🎶🧄🌿

Instagram decides to act up—again—forcing me to upload Stories before I can download them. So now I have to dive into the Archives to save them. Classic Instagram drama 😅

Later, Ulf and I hit up IKEA, where I get a TV bench called BAGGEBOR that I creatively repurpose into a plant console. The screw count? Astronomical. But the final result? Perfection 🌿📦

I squeeze in a sweaty crosstrainer workout, feel saintly, and of course Google whether there’s a Saint Joachim (there is—Jesus’ grandfather! 🕊️). Then it’s time to shower, pick up a package, and bike over to Ulf’s for a wine-filled evening and a few birthday surprises, including the cutest golden squirrel bowl 🎁🐿️

The evening wraps with me watching *Hacks* alone (Ulf always falls asleep early 😴) and biking home under the stars ✨🚲

What if a forgotten theatre ticket, a wooly sweater, and an old friend were all it took to open a time capsule? 🧵📸 November 27, 2024. I’m sitting in one of the smaller stages at Kulturhuset Stadsteatern, in the hush before curtain. I wish I could tell you what play we were about to see—but my calendar simply says *THEATRE WITH MAJSAN*. No title. No cast. Just a name.

 

Majsan. 👵✨ My friend, my theatre partner, and the one who likely got us the tickets. She works part-time as a child wrangler at Stadsteatern—still loving the theatre life even in semi-retirement. We met years ago when she was herding small actors in *Karlsson på taket*… or was it *Rasmus på luffen*? Later we reunited for *Så som i Himmelen*, her once again wrangling kids with calm determination while I zipped up costumes backstage. 🎭👕💼

In the photo, I’m wearing my chunky ERDEM x H&M sweater I found on Tradera—cozy but underused, honestly. It blends into the red velvet shadows of the seats around us. I can almost smell the curtain rope and hear the last-minute shuffles of late arrivals. 🎟️🍬👞

It’s funny how your phone hides memories you didn’t even know you’d forgotten. This one? It reminded me how theatre friendships never really fade—and how warm it feels to sit in the dark beside someone who gets it. ❤️🛋️🎭

🎬 Another day, another upload! I kick off the morning editing yesterday’s IG stories into one full video for all my social platforms—cut, trim, boom 💥. Then it’s off to the computer to upload, write the caption ✍️, and, of course, post the **oldest photo on my iPhone** 📸 before I erase it forever. Nostalgia meets routine! 💾✨

Today I’m off to help Ulf put up some hooks 🪛 in his bedroom before an IKEA run 🛒. But first—lunch! Vegan schnitzel, potatoes 🥔, green peas, beetroot salad 🟣 and my homemade pizza salad 🥬—because later we’re having 🍕 at Ulf’s while watching *The Residence* on Netflix 📺👑🕵️‍♀️. And yes, it’s Shondaland drama heaven.

My look? COS yellow beanie 🧢, oversized round H&M Studio sunnies 🕶️, and my white graffiti bomber 🧥. Stylish, practical…very me 😎.

Outside Ulf’s highrise, a mysterious black rubber backpack 🎒 sits abandoned. Lost? Looted? Forgotten? Suspicious... 🕵️‍♂️

At his place, he’s dogsitting a black poodle 🐩—a bitey little thing that once got my hand and *almost* did it again 😳. We finally head to IKEA for curtain rods and a quick fika ☕🍰. I fall in love with a wine decanter from IKEA’s new Stockholm 2025 collection 🍷. Ulf nearly forgets the curtain rods at checkout until he *literally* trips over them 😂.

Next stop: Liljeholmstorget Galleria! Toothpaste for me 🦷 and weird potato chips for Ulf at Flying Tiger 🥔. Back at his place, someone’s been rummaging through the black bag—now a paper bag’s lying beside it 😱.

The chips? Good, weird, crispy. The pizza? Delicious. The salad? *Chef’s kiss* 👨‍🍳. Ulf keeps dozing off during *The Residence*, wine glass in hand 🍷💤. When I head home, the backpack’s gone—but the paper bag remains. The plot thickens…
