Fasten your imaginary scarf and follow me aboard the m/S Birka Gotland — a floating palace on the Baltic Sea 🌊✨ I, Joakim Clifton Bergman, and my dear friend Magnus embarked on a cruise from Stockholm to Visby and back, dressed for drama, hungry for vegan options, and ready for content 💁‍♂️📸

But when morning arrived on the return journey, and Magnus dashed off to the breakfast buffet, I... abstained 🍽️ The vegan selection was a repetition in tragedy: the same tired sandwich I’d had on night one and yesterday morning. I chose hydration and elegance — a raw bite and a glass of water in our cabin 💧🥬

Instead of sulking, I got a coffee ☕ and floated around the ship, capturing clips of the sea, the curves of the archipelago, and the glint of sun on deck rails. It’s an editorial experience, really. Think sea breeze meets style reel.

I stopped by the tax-free shop, where I picked up the tiniest Campari known to mankind 🍊 and some well-deserved sweets for my friend Ulf in Stockholm — who needed a little sugar and sparkle 🍬✨

Returning to Stockholm is always a vibe shift: grey skies, misty rain, and zero glamour. But oh, the lesson we learned! Next time, we’ll not rise at dawn to wait for disembarkation. No no. Instead, we’ll take our bags to the bar and sip Campari tonics until we’re summoned ashore like the icons we are 🍹🛳️

Once home, I collapse — exhausted, dramatic, and vaguely jet-lagged. Why? My darling Magnus snores like the ghost of a tuba-playing walrus 🐘💤

It's my way of keeping my feed nostalgic, fresh, and ever-evolving 💖.

Life here is a colorful blend of vlogging 🎥, vegan cooking 🥑🍜, theatre magic 🎭, and daily style inspiration ✨. Working as a dresser and costume supervisor for a musical theatre in Stockholm has given me a front-row seat to creativity, both on and off the stage 🎭💃. On July 21, 2024, I captured a series of photographs featuring my dear friend, Ulf Nordlander, during a serene day at a beach in the Stockholm archipelago. In the first two images, Ulf, deeply tanned with his characteristic greyish hair and speckled beard, is seated comfortably on a red mattress atop a cliff near the water's edge. Draped in a grey sarong fashioned as a skirt, he smiles warmly, playfully holding in his stomach while gazing directly into the camera.
