Today is *Fettisdagen* 🎉, so I’m on a mission to find **three** vegan semlor! 🏆✨ But first, I edit yesterday’s Instagram stories 🎬, admire my newly organized walk-in wardrobe 👗, and then hop on my bike 🚲 to explore Stockholm’s best bakeries.
First stop: **Söderbergs Bageri** at Telefonplan 🍞—a popular bakery with a line out the door! I grab my first semla and head to **Svandammsparken** 🌳 in Midsommarkransen, my cozy neighborhood full of charm and history. Semla #1? *Delicious*, but I already regret committing to three 😅.
Next, **Gunnarson’s Specialbageri** on Götgatan 🍰, a legendary Stockholm bakery since 1946. The line is even longer, but I brave it for semla #2. Feeling *very* full now 🫠.
On my way to **Bagar’n Hornstull**, I take a shortcut through a park and find the most beautiful carved tree 🌳✨—a fallen trunk turned into an art piece with animals and plants, like a Nordic totem pole. Love little surprises like this!
Final semla: **Bagar’n Hornstull** 🥇—the cheapest *and* best one of the day! Thought I’d eat outside, but my phone battery was dying 📱🔋, so I head home, full of sugar and regrets (but mostly sugar) 🤭.
How many semlor did *you* eat today? Drop a 🥯 if you love them! 👇
