**What if… Backstage Reflections Could Speak?**

This is the oldest photo on my phone, captured on February 25, 2024, in the quick-change area backstage at the theatre 🎭. It features Hjalmar, moments before stepping into the spotlight for the opening number, "The Cabaret." He’s wearing striking black lipstick, slicked-back hair, and dramatic fake lower eyelashes. In the mirror behind him, you can see me snapping the picture, a candid moment frozen in time 📸✨.

The quick-change area is the heartbeat of backstage life—full of adrenaline, last-minute adjustments, and anticipation. This photo catches a rare, quiet second before the storm, as Hjalmar gathers himself for the dazzling chaos of the performance. There’s something about the way he looks here, poised yet electric, that encapsulates the magic of theatre.

It’s not just about the costumes or the makeup; it’s about transformation. Hjalmar’s reflection feels like a glimpse into the duality of performance—the actor preparing to slip into character, the person behind the artistry, and the world watching them collide. The mirrored shot of me reminds me how much of my life exists in these in-between moments, creating and capturing the stories that unfold in the theatre’s shadows 🪞💄🌟.

I’ve always found a special beauty in the rituals of getting ready for a show—the flick of a brush, the tightening of a costume, and the shared glances that say, "We’ve got this." Working with Hjalmar and the cast has been an unforgettable journey, and this image is a perfect snapshot of those shared experiences 🙌🎭.

What’s a moment from your everyday life that feels like a tiny piece of magic? Share your stories—I’d love to hear them 🌟.
