**What if Behind the Scenes Was the Real Show?**

This is the oldest photo on my phone, taken on February 24, 2024, during a performance at the theatre 🎭. It features Lukas, one of our incredible stagehands, sitting quietly behind a stack of set pieces. He’s waiting for the number *Sticka Sticka* (Knitting, Knitting) to finish so he can spring into action and move the set pieces for the next scene. As a stagehand, his role is a mix of patience and bursts of quick, precise action—always behind the curtain, making the magic happen ✨.

Lukas and I go way back—we’ve been working together since 2008. Over the years, we’ve shared countless moments like this: him in his element, ready to tackle whatever the show throws his way, and me marveling at how much work happens behind the scenes to create the seamless performances the audience enjoys. This moment, though simple, captures so much of what I love about theatre—the teamwork, the dedication, and the quiet moments that often go unnoticed.

The setting is as dynamic as Lukas himself: backstage chaos mixed with quiet pockets of stillness. You can see the organized clutter of set pieces, props, and that soft glow of stage lights sneaking through the cracks ✨. It’s a world that feels so ordinary to those of us who work here yet extraordinary to anyone peeking behind the scenes.

This photo reminds me why I love theatre—it’s a constant reminder that even the quiet moments are full of purpose and anticipation. To Lukas and every unsung hero backstage, this one’s for you. đŸ’Ș🎭
