I employed a large, trusty blue IKEA bag—an absolute essential for modern-day domestic tasks! The technique was simple: lift the plant, allowing any errant soil to spill neatly into the bag. It worked like a charm! But the real excitement began when I was tucking the now-empty pots away on the dark balcony. 🪴🌙

I assure you, I have never experienced such a fright! A perfectly innocent-looking squirrel, likely startled by my presence, darted out of the darkness, ran up my arm, and leaped away! 🐿️😱 My reaction was… less than stellar. I made a sound so undignified—a sound I shall not attempt to reproduce—that the sheer shame of it has almost eclipsed the terror of the creature itself. I am a man of the modern world, yet a small, fluffy rodent reduced me to a caricature! Good day to you all! After the delightful chaos of last week's theatrical endeavors, a Monday with no showwas a welcome respite, spent in the glorious pursuit of video editing for both my Instagram and YouTubechannels. One must always be productive, even when horizontal! 💻🛋️

The highlight of my evening was a much-anticipated visit to my dear friend Ulf's apartment. This occasion called for a small celebration: Ulf has bravely returned to work after an astonishing five-month sick leave! I confess, I anticipated a degree of fatigue, but he was remarkably spry—a testament to his resilience! My mission: to bring a truly nice bottle of red wine to mark the occasion and enjoy watching Only Murders in the Building S. 02. 🍷🕵️‍♂️

However, the journey to Ulf's was not without its charming mishaps! First, the crucial task of acquiring the aforementioned celebratory wine. I found myself at the liquor store, contemplating the vast world of red wine. I bravely selected a Bordeaux, only to have a rather embarrassing revelation afterward: Bordeaux, as it turns out, is a region, not a grape! Oh, the ignominy! One lives and learns, does one not? 🍇🤦‍♂️

Next, a necessary detour to the drugstore for a rather essential purchase: CeraVe soap for my face. A gentleman must attend to his complexion, after all. But then, just as I was about to depart for Ulf's, it struck me with the force of a thunderbolt: I had forgotten the soup! The very soup I had promised to bring for dinner! Such an oversight simply would not do. A quick, somewhat exasperated dash home on my bicycle was required to retrieve the forgotten potage. One must never arrive at a friend's empty-handed (or empty-souped!). 🚴‍♂️🍜

Despite my minor logistical challenges, the evening with Ulf was utterly lovely. We finished the wine (the Bordeaux, regional though it may be, was quite palatable!), caught up on our favorite true-crime comedy, and celebrated his triumphant return to the world. It was a perfect blend of cozy friendship and lighthearted fun. I vow to bring a different red wine next week—perhaps one whose grape I can actually name! 😉

My morning began with a charming surprise right in my door slot: a package so slender, it must have contained a most delicate garment. And indeed it did! A sheer, glittery mesh T-shirt from H&M Divided! It is a delightful piece of whimsy, perfect for layering and adding a touch of sparkle to even the most mundane outing. This little find proves that a bit of sheer joy can be had even from the most accessible of fashion lines. I give you a proper viewing of the new tee—it is divine. 💖

The core of our Saturday’s social calendar, of course, revolves around the sacred time between the performances. I had a small, necessary errand—a quick dash out to purchase new tights—but I made it back just in time for our favorite backstage ritual: The Roulette! 🎲

For those new to our antics, The Roulette is where the cast and crew convene in the theatre backstage kitchen to exchange items we have brought from home that we no longer need. It’s a hilarious game of white elephant that embraces the glorious chaos of reusing and recycling. Everyone brings their clutter, and the winner gets the most splendidly random collection of cast-offs! The tension was palpable, I assure you! 😆

And this week's victor? Our very own Per Svensson—the winner once again! He seems to possess a truly enviable luck in these matters! But what he won this time was utterly exceptional and quite beyond the usual collection of novelty mugs and moth-eaten scarves: a bottle of genuinely expensive FLORIS No. 89 Perfume! The scent is classic, and the price tag is significant. The sheer absurdity of this high-value prize appearing in our junk exchange was truly a moment to behold! 😱 David, our dear makeup man, was absolutely beside himself with envy—a reaction that was almost as amusing as the prize itself. We had a wonderfully theatrical moment of sniffing the air and debating the fairness of Per's luck. 🍾
