**What if time worked differently backstage?**

This is the oldest photo on my phone, taken on March 11, 2024, backstage at the theatre 🎭✨. It features actress Therese Andersson Lewis—or Terran, as we call her—getting ready for the first number of the show. But here’s the thing: Terran is never early ⏳, and I’m usually not in the quick-change area when she gets ready. By the time she comes down from the women’s dressing room on the third floor, I’m already waiting in the wings for Sofia Pekkari’s quick change.

So what’s going on here? đŸ€š The only explanation is that there’s no flying on stage this performance, which completely shifts the backstage timing. If you don’t work in theatre, this might sound confusing—honestly, even I find it confusing. But that’s the magic of live theatre: every night, tiny changes ripple through everything, and no two performances are everexactly the same.

Backstage has its own rhythm, its own rules, and sometimes its own time warp 🕰️. One missed cue can set off a chain reaction, one technical change can shift the whole routine. But that’s what makes it thrilling! Even a single photo can unlock a memory you forgot you had—a moment that would have disappeared, if not for a quick snapshot 📾.

Working as a dresser and costume supervisor means I see the show in a way no one else does 👗👠. The backstage world is full of movement, routine, and unexpected surprises. You think you know what’s coming next—and then something shifts, and suddenly, you’re in a whole different version of the night.
