My Final Show Day at Malmö Arena 🎭 Vegan Hotel Breakfast, Backstage Chao...

Waking up on the 12th floor above Malmö with panoramic views of Turning Torso, Öresundsbron, and even Copenhagen? This is what touring dreams are made of 🌇

In today’s video, I take you through one of the most memorable and bittersweet days on tour with our show at Malmö Arena. We’re staying right on top of the venue at the lovely Best Western Malmö Arena Hotel—so yes, it’s the shortest commute ever 🛗 But more than that, this hotel has become our home away from home.

🌱 The morning starts at PERCY’S, the in-house restaurant, with a fantastic vegan hotel breakfast that genuinely impressed me. Plant-based options? Check. Friendly staff? Check. Fresh coffee and dreamy bread? Double check. Honestly, I felt so seen 😌

🎭 From there, it’s straight to the theatre for our final Saturday—a two-show day packed with energy, emotion, and a little chaos. We’ve done so many shows, but only a few of us have been at EVERY performance: myself (representing Team Costumes), Lukas the stagehand, makeup artist David, and cast members Per and Emilia. That said—SPOILER ALERT—today is the day Per is out and his brilliant understudy Tord finally steps in. And guess what? He CRUSHES it!

👕 Meanwhile, the crew and I start packing. It’s our last night at the hotel and everything must go after the final curtain. Cue boxes, rolling racks, tangled cords, a backup sewing machine (yes, really), and a lot of socks.

Downstairs at Percy’s, the hotel’s stylish restaurant, I indulge in a delightful vegan breakfast 🥐🍓🍞—fresh fruit, warm bread, creamy oat lattes, and even vegan cheese 🧀🍇. The staff? Incredibly kind 💁‍♀️✨. Lunch and dinner? Absolutely divine 🍝🥗. And @krall_entertainment, especially @tobiaseliasson, @andreakrall & @sophiastolpe? Angels with spreadsheets 👼📋

Post-breakfast, it’s adventure time with coworkers David & Johanna 🚴‍♂️🚴‍♀️. We rent bikes and glide from Hyllie to Malmö city. Our destination? The glistening canals of Malmö! We hop into pedal boats 🚤💦—or “cykelbåtar” as the locals call them—and drift through a blend of medieval charm and modern innovation.

The canals lead us past Malmöhus Castle 🏰, once a prison, now a museum; the vibrant Moderna Museet 🎨; and tranquil parks where lovers picnic and artists sketch 🎨🍃. Malmö was Danish for centuries 🇩🇰, Turning Torso is the first twisted skyscraper ever 🌀, and the city’s cycling culture is unmatched 🚲. Malmö also boasts Sweden’s second-largest Pride 🏳️‍🌈, a multicultural food scene 🍜🌮, and a deep-rooted love for football ⚽

Tour life at Malmö Arena Hotel with vegan froyo, a rooftop garden, and a genius sparkling tea hack – welcome to my hotel-based content creator routine in Sweden 🇸🇪

Currently, I’m on tour with our fabulous show and living right above the MALMÖ ARENA at the gorgeous MALMÖ ARENA HOTEL. My twelfth-floor room overlooks the city, the TURNING TORSO, the ÖRESUNDSBRIDGE, and even the skyline of COPENHAGEN. 🌆

This video captures a full day-in-the-life: the morning after opening night, starting with a luxurious vegan breakfast buffet at the hotel’s restaurant PERCY’S. I show you my favorite hack—pop a Dilmah Lemon & Lime teabag into a glass of sparkling water, and boom: a fizzy, fresh drink without added sugar. 🍋✨

As a vlogger, I’m always editing on the go 🎬—so I demonstrate how I manage social video captions on my iPad while editing on my iPhone, right from my hotel bed. Later, I get inspired and write a little intro jingle about life on the road 🎵

Needing some fresh air, I walk to EMPORIA shopping center, Malmö’s retail paradise. They’ve got a rooftop garden (yes, a garden on a mall!), so obviously I check it out 🌿☀️ Then comes the surprise: YOGIBOOST offers vegan frozen yoghurt 🍦 and I treat myself to piña colada + mango passionfruit flavors. 😋

Pre-show, I ask David and Johanna a question for our future selves…but post-show? I totally forget to record the answers 🤦‍♂️—classic funny fail 😅
