 What Rum and Coke Proper Ratio Is There? 

The proportion of the two ingredients is where the rum and Coke frequently goes sour. Because it is so simple to make, bartenders, both experienced and novice, frequently ignore the need of maintaining a harmony of flavors. As a result, the drink either has too much soda or alcohol that has been "burned." 

When consumers attempt to "repair" a lousy rum and Coke, the issue becomes apparent. They frequently add another shot because they think they didn't pour enough rum because they can't taste it. They now have a double shot of rum, and without another dash of Coke, the beverage is too potent. If you want to get drunk, this is wonderful.
