What happens when your friend’s birthday turns into a tequila-fueled Lego night in the middle of August? 🌵🍹

This is part two of Magnus’s birthday celebration — and it’s as wonderfully chaotic and joy-filled as you might imagine.

🎁 The Arrival & Gifts
I arrive at Magnus’s place with an armful of treasures:

• A trivia game I’ve designed about our trip to Ulriksdal Palace 🏛️
• A new iPhone cover to replace the ill-fitting one we bought at H&M Härnösand 📱
• A bottle of bubbly (because birthdays without sparkle are crimes against glamour) 🍾
  Along the way, I pick up baguettes 🥖 and tomato sauce 🍅, because I have visions of dipping bread into warm, tangy comfort.

🍹 The Augustequile Tradition
Then Magnus reminds me — it’s August, which means it’s Augustequile. The rule? In August, we drink tequila. Always. He whips up one classic Margarita 🍸 and one frozen Margarita ❄️, both perfection. We toast with them, then open the champagne for good measure.

👟 Unexpected Extras
I also give Magnus a pair of galoshes, because even in August, style should be weatherproof 👞🌧️.

🧩 The Lego Revelations
Magnus has expanded his Lego collection since I last visited — not one, but three new sets:

• The golden Star Wars droid C-3PO 🤖
• The Fontana di Trevi in all its miniature glory ⛲
• And the pièce de résistance — the Sorting Hat from Harry Potter, which actually speaks and sorts you into a house. I am declared Slytherin 🐍 (delighted), Magnus gets Hufflepuff 🦡 (less delighted).

🎲 The Game & The Heat
We play my Ulriksdal Palace trivia in the sweltering heat of Magnus’s apartment 🌞. Laughter, questions, teasing — until the warmth turns the night into an early one.
