We begin at DBW:s Botaniska Trädgård, dating back to 1855. Founded by physician David B. Wahlberg, this garden houses rare magnolias, ancient apple trees, and over 700 species—including exotic spices and towering deodar cedars. Wander through its Victorian greenhouse—imagine aristocrats in top hats—and breathe in centuries of botanical allure 🌸.

Snäckgärdesporten (Shell Gate): Named for once-shell-lined gardens nearby—whispers of seaside romance.

Tranhustornet (Tar House Tower): Where pitch once sealed wooden walls—sweet history in resin.
Sankt Göransporten: The St George Gate—named for valorous protection.
Långa Lisa: Visby’s slender tall tower—calling out to the sky.
Nordenport (North Gate): Outdoor-steps portal bringing us back to bustling modern Visby.
