DOING LAUNDRY WHILE MY STAGE MANAGER ISN'T EVEN OLD ENOUGH TO REMEMBER T...

Wait, did my theatre run a show for seven years and my stage manager still missed it? The final show of the week brought big revelations, organization hacks, and the glamour of industrial-sized laundry! You're going to want to see this behind-the-scenes theatre vlog! 🤩🎬

Hello, darlings, and welcome to my Sunday! The final curtain call of the week is always bittersweet—a perfect mix of satisfaction and sheer exhaustion. After yesterday’s sudden downpour (which was decidedly not a hurricane!), my bicycle was left at the theatre, so the journey today was a far more civilized subway ride. This quiet time is sacred; I used the commute to get ahead on writing captions for my daily Instagram uploads. A little productivity hack for anyone who struggles with social media scheduling! 📝🚇

Speaking of organization, I had a little genius moment with one of my Sellpy purchases. I pulled out a fantastic silver padded laptop pouch—it’s too small for a modern laptop, but perfect for repurposing! I'm now using it as a chic, padded organizer for all the delicate bits and pieces that tend to get lost in my massive work bag. It's a quick, easy, and stylish upcycling tip for finding new uses for second-hand items. Sustainable style means thinking creatively! ✨♻️

Once at the theatre, the main task was preparing for the final show. This means the highly technical, often hilarious process of figuring out the most efficient way to deliver costumes and preset props. This segment gives a real, honest look into the non-glamorous, but utterly crucial, work of a theatre professional. It's all about method and minimizing those frantic, last-minute rushes! 🏃‍♂️

The highlight of the day was catching up with our Stage Manager, Simon. I was trying to engage him on a piece of our theatre’s history: the legendary run of Phantom of the Opera, which apparently ran here for six or seven years—an absolutely unheard-of success in Swedish theatre! Imagine my shock when he revealed he wasn't even born when the show closed! It was a truly humbling moment about the passage of time and the vastness of theatre history. I tried to quiz him on some Phantom trivia, but sadly, the younger generation is lacking! It did, however, open up a lovely conversation about the legacy of big, long-running productions. 👻🎭

The final act of my week is often the least glamorous: costume laundry. After the final curtain, I stayed on to meticulously handle the week's worth of theatrical garments. It's a surprisingly soothing, grounding end to a busy seven days. I show you the industrial washing machines and the sheer volume of clothes we have to clean. A fascinating peek behind the real magic of the theatre! 🧺

I MISSED THE WILDEST BACKSTAGE GAME EVER TO BUY AN ACTOR'S RING—AND WAS ...

Did I skip a legendary theatre betting game just to buy jewelry, and why did this "hurricane" feel like a gentle breeze? You won't believe the drama (and comedy) that unfolded during our two-show Saturday! 😅🎬

Welcome back to the chaos! If you love getting an honest, behind-the-scenes look at the life of a content creator who juggles theatre work with vlogging, this video is for you. Today was one of those exhausting but hilarious two-show Saturdays, all while waiting for a supposed natural disaster named Hurricane Amy to hit. Spoiler alert: the storm was a spectacular disappointment—it started as nothing more than a bit of wind. The things we worry about! 💨

Before the day truly got underway, I was in a determined state of decluttering. I’m continuing my massive purge for my Sellpy haul and found a spectacular item to donate: a black mesh shirt. It's a gorgeous piece, but darling, one must keep the momentum going! If you're struggling to let go of clothing, hopefully, my little segment on selecting items for second-hand sale gives you the push you need. It’s all about sustainable style and making room for new adventures. ✨♻️

Backstage, the fun officially began with our notorious Roulette game. For those new here, it’s where we all bring in one wrapped item we don’t want from home, and someone wins the delightful junk! Our makeup man, David, taught me the most ridiculous life hack: the Swish money transfer app actually plays music when you use it! Who knew banking could be a soundtrack? 🎶💳

I decided to try filming a quick comedy sketch I've been planning: "The Too Drunk Man at the Nobel Banquet." The results? You'll have to watch, but let's just say my inner character actor was fully unleashed. It’s a great example of how I try to sneak in little creative projects in between the demands of the show.

Right before the Roulette drawing, I had to sprint out to buy a very specific ring for one of our actors. Talk about high-stakes errands! I asked David to place my "bet" on the Roulette for me. The result? I missed the actual moment, but the consensus was clear: Per won! And what did he take home? A highly impractical but utterly charming clothes hook shaped like a hot air balloon. The sheer uselessness of it is what makes the game so brilliant. 🎈🤣

As the second show wrapped, the weather finally decided to deliver, but not as a hurricane—just as a heavy, glorious downpour. Suddenly, biking home was out of the question. Thankfully, I was saved by the most mysterious object in the theatre's collection: a perfect, branded umbrella from the Best Western Malmö Arena Hotel that somehow ended up amongst our costumes. It’s a perfect illustration of how unpredictable and odd life backstage truly is. So, it was the subway for me, dry and slightly bewildered by the hotel umbrella's origins. ☔️🚇

I RECEIVED THE BEST BIRTHDAY GIFT EVER, BUT MY THEATRE JOB IS FORCING ME...

My friend gave my 80-year-old mother the most thoughtful gift ever, but is the theatre forcing me to give away my best stuff? 🤯🎁

Hey everyone, and welcome back to the Friday vlog! Today was a classic blend of high emotion, sharp style, and the delightful absurdity of life backstage. If you’ve been looking for meaningful gift ideas, sustainable style inspiration, or just a fun glimpse into the world of professional theatre, you're in for a treat! 🎬

The day started with a truly heartwarming surprise in the mail! My incredible friend Nina created the most thoughtful 80th birthday gift for my mom: a photo album dedicated to her life. And—surprise!—Nina sent a copy to me as well. Receiving that album was such a powerful, emotional moment. It’s a wonderful reminder of how important those personal, tangible gifts are, especially in the age of digital everything. I show you a quick peek at the beautifully curated photos; it was definitely a major tear-jerker. Thanks, Nina! ❤️😭

For today’s busy theatre day, I needed an outfit that could handle the backstage hustle while still looking chic. I pulled out a fantastic pair of navy pants from my recent second-hand haul: H&M Studio S/S 2018. These aren't just any trousers; they’re navy with crisp white top-stitching, giving them that cool, utilitarian 'workman’s jean' aesthetic, but in a refined fabric. This piece perfectly showcases how I use Sellpy finds to integrate high-quality, rare collection pieces into my everyday wardrobe without the high price tag. I’ll talk about why the H&M Studio collections are such great targets for sustainable thrifting. 👖✨

Once I got to the theatre, the fun began. I caught up with our Stage Manager, Simon, who dropped some daily wisdom on us: "You are what you eat." Simple, but a great reminder as we head into a demanding two-show Saturday! 🍎

But the real comedy came from Terran, our amazing Production Assistant, who decided to resurrect the legendary "Roulette" game from a previous show. The premise is simple: everyone brings an item they desperately want to get rid of from home, wraps it up, and one lucky/unlucky person wins a prize! It’s ridiculous, hilarious, and definitely helps us all declutter. I also got a fascinating, if slightly confusing, explanation from Terran on how the massive, industrial theatre humidifier works, which apparently lives in a secret zone "below the basement." Backstage life is wild, guys! 🤯

When I finally got home, I had to find a suitable donation for the Roulette game. I take you through my closet and show you some of the items that are non-negotiable keepers—the pieces I'll never donate. Then, I found the perfect victim for the Roulette prize pool. It was surprisingly therapeutic to clear out some of that clutter, even if I was passing the clutter on to a colleague!

BACKSTAGE HACKS & SONDHEIM SECRETS: I SAVED MY FAVORITE RECYCLED SWEATER...

Can one life survive dry cleaning, backstage chaos, a Sondheim show, and a high-fashion haul all in one Thursday? 🤯

Welcome back to the channel, guys! Get ready for a high-energy 'Day in the Life' vlog because today is a special one: the start of my show week at the theatre! This video is packed with cultural highlights, fashion finds, and a super useful maintenance hack that will save your knitwear. If you're a performing arts student, a thrifter, or just someone who loves a glimpse behind the curtain, you’re in the right place! 🎭✨

My day kicked off with a slightly frantic dash to pick up some dry cleaning needed for the show's wardrobe. It's those little tasks that signal the start of a busy theatrical week! 👔 But my real adventure took me across town to Stockholm and the prestigious Base 23 arts school, specifically the SMU (Stockholms Musikalartist Utbildning) course. I was lucky enough to be invited to their final showing of their work on the legendary composer and lyricist, Stephen Sondheim. 🎶

The performance, led by the brilliant musical director and coach Niklas Riesbeck, was absolutely fantastic! It’s genuinely moving to see the passion and dedication of these students. I ran into my friends and fellow industry pros, Staffan Berg and Johan Rudebeck, while I was there—it’s always great to connect with the creative community and share moments like these. Seeing their hard work was a huge emotional boost before my own show week starts! ❤️🌟

Now, let's talk fashion! I needed an outfit that was both comfortable for a busy day and sharp enough for an arts school showing. I pulled two of the coolest recent finds from my SELLPY box:

  1. The H&M Studio S/S 2020 Bag: This geometric, structured bag is a perfect example of how second-hand shopping lets you snag exclusive collection pieces that are unique and high quality. 👜
  2. The H&M Innovation Circular Design Story Jumper: This woolen sweater, made from recycled wool, is not only stylish but fits perfectly with my commitment to sustainable fashion. It’s a great example of ethical luxury on a budget. 💚🌍

Speaking of wool, I took you backstage at the theatre to share a must-know wardrobe tip! My new recycled wool jumper had already started pilling a bit, so I show you my easy, low-tech hack for removing those annoying little lint balls and keeping your knitwear looking brand new. This simple maintenance routine will seriously extend the life of your favorite pieces and save you money in the long run. No more throwing out perfectly good sweaters! 🧵💰

HOW A BROKEN BIKE TURNED INTO THE PERFECT VLOG DAY 🚲✨

🚲 Can a quiet Wednesday become a story worth telling?

Some days slip by unnoticed — and others, like this one, hum quietly with small surprises. No show today 🎭, no backstage bustle, just a city morning and a bicycle that decided to revolt 🚴‍♂️. It wobbled and whimpered, so I took it to the repair shop, where the mechanic — to my delight — greeted me by name. (There’s something profoundly comforting about being remembered.)

The diagnosis was simple: a few broken spokes 🛞. While my trusted companion was being mended, I went to retrieve two parcels 📦 — tiny acts of self-celebration. One held a long bomber jacket from H&M Studio A/W 2016 🖤, dramatic and timeless. The other, a faux fur belt 🐻 I’d been watching for a year — now finally mine for ten dollars.

Then came the message: Your bike is ready. Joy is often found in small, ordinary sentences like that. I pedalled home, jacket over my shoulder, thinking the day was over. But life, as always, had a final flourish: an ambulance 🚑 parked outside my building. I filmed it — instinctively — knowing it would become the perfect establishing shot for a future video 🎥.

This is what I love about vlogging: how the seemingly mundane transforms into narrative. A broken wheel becomes a reason to slow down. A parcel becomes a chapter in your wardrobe’s story. An ambulance becomes the punctuation mark at the end of a day.

If you love stories told through the small details — secondhand treasures 👕, daily rituals ☕️, serendipitous moments 🌦️ — then join me here. Subscribe, comment, and let’s celebrate the poetry of ordinary days together.

NOT THE WORST PLAY I'VE EVER SEEN, BUT I WROTE A GROCERY LIST DURING THE...

Can a theatre performance be so dull that it inspires a detailed grocery shopping list? 🤔

This video is your candid, high-value glimpse into the highs and—mostly—lows of a male content creator's working week: balancing the essential, slightly obsessive need for good aesthetics with an honest, sometimes brutal, review of the performing arts. I promise practical vlogging tips on creating visual content, an unfiltered theatre review, and a truly humorous, relatable story about desperately trying to stay engaged. You’ll laugh at the absurdity and feel a connection to the struggle of surviving mandatory cultural events!

Welcome to my Tuesday vlog! The day was a perfect juxtaposition of visual maintenance and cultural exploration, with results that were wildly different in quality.

The Monthly Aesthetic Mandate:

The day began with a crucial, slightly obsessive chore: capturing a new establishing shot of my apartment building. 📸 As we leave September behind, a creator simply must refresh the visual content to reflect the new month. I take you along on my walk, discussing what makes a good vlog establishing shot—it's all about lighting, angle, and capturing the right seasonal mood for October. I managed to capture several absolutely magnificent options! This segment offers a great vlogging tip on maintaining visual continuity and freshness in your content. I end this part by letting you, the viewers, vote on which shot best captures the autumn feel for my channel. Your aesthetic judgment is needed! 🙏

The Disastrous Cultural Journey to Kungsholmen:

The evening saw me embark on a cultural journey to Kungsholmen. I cycled 🚲 over to the venue Ö2 to see the play "Flocken" by Teater Lycke. 🎭 I arrived with optimism, eager for a night of stimulating theatre!

Unfortunately, what followed was a profound disappointment. I am always honest in my reviews, and this show, frankly, was a total letdown. I found myself completely unable to engage with the narrative or the perfor

mances. This is where the story takes a truly absurd turn: to combat the sheer tedium, my mind went into full domestic productivity mode. I started meticulously composing a grocery shopping list!
📝 I talk you through the mental list—the organic milk, the artisanal bread, the need for new spices—that occupied my thoughts for the majority of the performance. I share the genuine internal struggle of sitting through a mandatory cultural event while plotting my weekly meals.

The Honest Review and The Call for Better Art:

This segment is a candid, honest theatre review of Teater Lycke's "Flocken" that highlights the importance of truly compelling storytelling. I discuss the reasons for my lack of engagement and what I believe makes a successful piece of avant-garde theatre. The biggest takeaway? When your audience is thinking about produce, you have failed! This is a long-tail keyword focused segment on honest arts criticism and Stockholm theatre scene commentary.

Why You Should Watch:

Watch to see the beautiful establishing shots and cast your vote, then stay for the hilariously real account of how I survived a disastrous play by focusing on grocery shopping. It’s a perfect mix of vlogger essentials and candid humor.

Hit that LIKE button if you've ever secretly multitasked during a long meeting or bad show! SUBSCRIBE for more honest reviews, Stockholm city vlogs, and behind-the-scenes content.
