HOW I GOT MUCH MORE THAN I ORDERED #VeganCooking #SustainableFashion #Un...

In today’s video, I start my day by editing yesterday's Instagram Stories for Instagram Reels, YouTube, and TikTok. After wrapping that up, I head over to the corner store to pick up a few packages. The first one is super exciting—my new mint-colored hoodie looks amazing on me! I also get a cute Kokeshi doll of Coco Chanel from Lucie Kaas, but to my surprise, the seller Jenny added extra goodies into the box. Along with the doll, she included tea candle holders, a tray, and artificial flowers, making it feel like an early gift!

The next package is something I’ve been looking forward to—it's a see-through bag from TRADERA by Rokh in collaboration with H&M. It’s so stylish and minimal!

After running errands, I hop on my bike and head to my friend Ulf Nordlander's place. We chill out with some vegan pizza while watching *Inventing Anna* on Netflix—such a perfect combo for a laid-back day. Ulf also surprises me with a pair of white high-top sneakers that no longer fit him. And that’s not all—he hands me a tap filter for my kitchen sink and two small ceramic bowls from Sicily! It’s like Christmas came early!

I’m based in Midsommarkransen, a charming suburb in Stockholm, Sweden, and I work as a dresser and costume supervisor at a musical theatre here. My passions are vlogging, vegan cooking, theatre, and fashion. Every day, I upload a video to Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Threads, keeping my content fresh by sharing the oldest picture on my phone across all platforms before deleting it. It’s a fun way to keep things nostalgic while moving forward.

What’s the best surprise you’ve ever received in a package? Let me know in the comments!

"Behind the Scenes with David Julio - October 12, 2023"

This is the oldest photo on my phone, taken on October 12, 2023, in the makeup and wig department at the theatre. The image captures the makeup artist and wig designer, David Julio, in a fun moment, wearing a pair of oversized sunglasses with a goofy grin on his face. David has been part of the theatre world for decades, having started in 1998. Originally from Boston, he moved to Sweden to study art, fell in love with the country, and decided to stay, making a name for himself in theatre makeup and wig design.

The photo shows David in his element—surrounded by wigs, brushes, and makeup tools—but the oversized sunglasses bring a playful touch, showing his lighter side. The theatre setting is full of creativity, and this moment captures that sense of fun amidst the hard work. The clutter of wigs and makeup supplies in the background adds a touch of authenticity, revealing a glimpse of the daily hustle behind the scenes of the shows.

I love this photo because it reflects David’s vibrant personality, his humor, and his dedication to his craft. It’s a snapshot of the camaraderie we share in the theatre world, where moments like these lighten up long workdays. The fact that David has been with the theatre for so long makes this image even more special—it’s a reminder of his journey from Boston to Stockholm, and his passion for transforming actors through his artistry.

This photo means a lot to me because it reminds me of the joy and creativity that thrive in the theatre. We may be busy with costumes, wigs, and makeup, but moments like these remind us to take a breath and enjoy the ride. It’s also a little glimpse into the fun chaos that happens behind the curtain, where talented artists like David bring characters to life.

HOW I GOT MY TOOTHPASTEY HOODIE #VeganLife #SustainableStyle #TheatreLov...

In today’s fun and productive video, I start the day by editing yesterday’s Instagram Stories for Instagram Reels, YouTube, and TikTok. It’s always satisfying to see how the content comes together across platforms. Afterward, I hop on my bike and head to Rusta to exchange my CO2 cannisters for my soda machine. On the way, I make a quick stop to recycle some paper—feeling eco-friendly and productive!

At Rusta, the Christmas and Halloween decorations are already in full swing, which gets me excited for the upcoming holidays. I pick up seven small terra cotta pots for my sunflower seed sprouts. It’s an ongoing project of mine—can’t wait to see them grow! Then, I swing by to pick up a parcel from H&M, as well as a package from VINTED. The VINTED purchase is a second-hand coat from the LANVIN X H&M collection—a rare find!

H&M has a collaboration going on right now with Ev Bravado and Téla D’Amore, featuring the art of Basquiat. The pieces aren’t selling that well, as is often the case with H&M collabs, so I snagged a mint green hoodie on sale and a black cotton knitted sweater with Basquiat graffiti printed on it. I’ve also been eyeing a sold-out hoodie from the Annamika Khanna collaboration with H&M for a while, and finally, I managed to get my hands on it!

In the evening, I have a FaceTime call with my friend Magnus, catching up on life and sharing some laughs. It’s a great way to unwind after a busy day.

I live in Midsommarkransen, a cozy suburb of Stockholm, Sweden, and work as a dresser and costume supervisor at a musical theatre in the city. My passions are vlogging, vegan cooking, theatre, and personal style.

Making easy vegan red lentil tofu is a fun and simple process that anyone can do at home. Start by soaking 1 cup of red lentils in 3 cups of water for at least 8 hours or overnight. Once they’re fully soaked and softened, drain the lentils and transfer them to a blender. To this, add 2 cups of fresh water, 2 teaspoons of salt, and 2 tablespoons of Laoganma chili oil, which adds a delicious umami flavor with a little kick of spice. Blend the mixture until it’s smooth and well combined. Next, pour the lentil mixture into a nonstick pan and set it over moderate heat. Stir continuously as it cooks to prevent sticking, and after a few minutes, you’ll notice the mixture thickening. Keep stirring until it transforms into a thick, dough-like consistency. Once thickened, transfer the dough into a shallow pan and spread it evenly. Let the tofu cool for at least 2 hours to set. When it’s ready, you can either cut it into pieces and fry them to crispy perfection or enjoy it as is, with your favorite sauces and toppings. This red lentil tofu is not only vegan and gluten-free, but also packed with plant-based protein. It’s a versatile ingredient that can be added to stir-fries, salads, or simply eaten on its own. #VeganRecipes #RedLentilTofu #PlantBased #VeganProtein #ChiliOil

"First Step Outside - October Vibes"**

This is the oldest photo on my phone, snapped on October 10, 2023, right outside my apartment door. It’s a selfie of me about to head out, and if you zoom in, you can spot a Fisherman’s Friend on my tongue! The weather must’ve been pretty mild since I’m rocking my green furry hat from ASOS, my bold red and black tiger-striped scarf from the KENZO X H&M collection, and my cotton biker jacket from the SABYASACHI X H&M collab. I also have my trusty GUDRUN SJÖDEN bag slung over my shoulder, and just peeking through, you can see the hood of my Bugs Bunny hoodie from H&M.

Taken right before stepping out, this moment captures that mix of excitement and comfort that comes with heading out in favorite pieces from my wardrobe. The background is simple, just my apartment door, but it’s a doorway to adventure, and for me, this outfit was a mix of style and practical comfort.

This shot has some fun elements—like the Fisherman’s Friend moment—that might go unnoticed unless you look closely, which is part of the charm. It’s one of those spontaneous selfies that remind me of everyday adventures, from morning errands to unexpected moments on the street.

What I love most about this photo is how it shows a snapshot of my style. Mixing bold, creative brands that express individuality while being functional for the day ahead. Each piece tells its own little story—like the Bugs Bunny hoodie, which has been with me through a lot of fun memories. It’s the small details like that which make this picture special.

It’s fun to look back at this and see how my style has evolved, but also how my approach to daily life has remained playful, spontaneous, and full of personal touches.

HOW I GOT A NAME GAME STARTED #TheatreLovers #VeganCooking #FunnyMoments...

In today’s funny and entertaining video, I start the day by editing yesterday’s Instagram Stories for Instagram Reels, YouTube, and TikTok, before heading off to the theatre. It’s the last show of the day, so I make sure to preset all the costumes before the action begins. 🎭

David Julio is in full "grumpy old man" mode today—something about someone writing a comment about *The Sound of Music* has put him in a mood! You’ll see what I mean in the video. 😂 For lunch, I show you how I spruce up my instant noodles with some creative flair—because even a quick meal deserves a little love! Then, I surprise Cicki by gifting her my new *Ho! Ho! Ho!* sequin Christmas sweater. She looks fabulous in it! 🎅✨

At the theatre, I invent a fun little game called “What’s your stripper name?”—you take the color of your underwear and the last thing you ate. Mine? “Black Banana” 🍌—not bad, right? What would yours be? 😆 It’s those silly moments that make working at the theatre even more enjoyable!

I live in Midsommarkransen, a cozy suburb of Stockholm, and I work as a dresser and costume supervisor for a musical theatre. Vlogging, vegan cooking, theatre, and style are my passions. Every day, I upload a new video to Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Threads, as well as post the oldest picture on my phone (before erasing it!). It’s a fun way to keep my feed fresh and nostalgic at the same time.

Check out the video and let me know your "stripper name"! Comment with your funniest one! 😄

*Role Reversal Backstage*

This is the oldest photo on my phone, taken on October 7, 2023, backstage at the theatre. It features the actors Martin Stokke Mathiessen and Lindy Larsson, having a good laugh. What’s funny about this moment is the role reversal. Usually, Martin is the one leaning against the wall, stretching before his big scenes, and Lindy watches him. But today, it’s the other way around! You can even spot the tiny tools in Martin’s hand, which add to the humor of the moment. It’s the little details that make backstage moments like this so memorable.

The photo captures the relaxed vibe behind the scenes, where actors take time to laugh and unwind before stepping into character. The theatre is always buzzing with activity, and it’s moments like this, between the intensity of the performance, that really bring everyone together. You can feel the camaraderie and playful energy between Martin and Lindy, two seasoned actors who know how to balance professionalism with a bit of fun.

Backstage at the theatre is a unique place—props are scattered, costumes are hung up, and the quiet hum of preparation fills the air. This candid snapshot shows that even during the high-pressure environment of live theatre, there’s always room for a laugh.

This photo is special to me because it reminds me of the beautiful balance between work and play in the theatre world. Seeing Martin and Lindy share a laugh makes me appreciate the moments of connection we have, even in the busiest times. It’s these small, unscripted interactions that make working in theatre so rewarding.
