Travel Chaos & Gin Haul: Morning Unpacking After a 3‑Hour Late Train | Vlog

Morning reality: I wake up at 3 PM. Why? Because a trip from Härnösand took forever—three‑hour train delay, last metro home, bed at 03 30. But the universe sends a gift: a bike basket surprise from Ewa, my dresser friend from Mamma Mia—20 years ago!

Unpacking is my therapy: perfumes, seven pairs of shoes, wipes, phone case, Jimmy Choo wallet filled with rings and necklaces, galoshes (thank god), water bottle I forgot, and a windbreaker, orange shorts, black Lanvin x H&M pants, Versace x H&M tee, Rosh x H&M shirt, and a sequin hoodie from H&M’s innovation circular line.

And the suitcase standout? Hernö Navy Strength Gin—of course, a martini follows. Best decision? My orange SWIMS galoshes—they saved my Erdem x H&M leather brogues from puddles.

Who am I? A costume supervisor and dresser in Stockholm theatre, based in Midsommarkransen, passionate about vegan cooking, style, theatre life, and daily vlogs. My content formula: upload a video every day, then post my oldest iPhone photo before deleting it for that nostalgic, fresh vibe.

This episode blends real life—delayed trains, fashion unpacking, nostalgic gifts—with style, theatre, vegan flair, and a splash of cocktail culture. It's backstage, it's homemaking, it’s travel, it's personal.

Härnösand to Stockholm: The Train Delay Vlog No One Asked For 🚆

How do you turn a smooth train ride into a full-on adventure? Just travel from Härnösand to Stockholm with us 😅 What started as a chill journey home after a lovely weekend became a zig-zagging rail drama, complete with delays, detours, surprise reunions, and a race to catch the last subway home.

Magnus and I had just wrapped up our trip to Härnösand — a beautiful coastal town on Sweden’s High Coast — where we explored, ate well, and saw the spectacular musical HÖGA KUSTEN. Spirits were high, our luggage was packed, and we were ready for a smooth journey south. 🚄

We changed trains in Sundsvall, boarded, and rolled into Hudiksvall — when suddenly the conductor’s voice crackled through the loudspeakers: an accident further down the line was blocking all traffic, and we’d be delayed at least 90 minutes. Not ideal.

But here’s where the story takes a twist… I ran into my old friend Mats Sahlin on the train in Sundsvall! Small country ❤️ The delay gave us a chance to catch up, which made the chaos a bit sweeter.

And then the weirdest part: the train turned back. Yep, they decided we’d reroute from Sundsvall. So we return… but once there, the Hudiksvall track is magically cleared. So, back again. Déjà vu, anyone?

In the end, we arrive in Stockholm three hours late — tired, but entertained. And miraculously, I catch the last subway home. It’s the little things.

This vlog is for anyone who’s ever been stuck mid-transit, laughed through the mess, and come home with a story to tell. Whether you're into Sweden, musicals, or just watching real life unfold, this one’s for you.

Subscribe for daily vlogs full of theatre, vegan food, travel adventures, and delightful chaos 💛🎭🚆

Härnösand Vlog | Vegan Café Rescue, Hernö Gin & Train Drama 😅🚆🍰

What happens when a terrible hotel breakfast sends two food-loving travellers on a mission for vegan redemption in northern Sweden? Join us in Härnösand for a delicious and slightly chaotic day filled with cinnamon bun brownies, strong gin, sorbet, and an unexpected twist on our way home! 👀

We start the day at the gorgeous Hernö Gin Hotel. Visually stunning? Yes. But as a vegan, I was left HUNGRY 😩 The breakfast? Basically just plant-based yoghurt and margarine. Not exactly the dreamy start I’d hoped for.

Enter: Café Sigrid ☕🌿 A vegan-friendly oasis in Härnösand that completely saves the day! Their buffet is a plant-based paradise, and Magnus finds what might be his new all-time favorite dessert — a cinnamon bun brownie 🥹 His reaction? Ecstatic. I’ve rarely seen someone fall in love with a baked good so fast 😄

After eating ourselves silly, we swing by Systembolaget for some local spirit — literally. We grab a bottle of Hernö Navy Strength Gin 🍸 because when in the gin capital of Sweden, you simply must. Then it’s dessert round two at Gånsvik Glassbar 🍦 I opt for a super fresh blood orange sorbet 🍊 while Magnus enjoys some more traditional scoops.

With bellies full and bags packed 🎒 we head to Härnösand Station for our journey home to Stockholm. The train ride is peaceful… until we near Hudiksvall and something unexpected happens 👀 Stay tuned for what went down!

Härnösand is a town that constantly surprises — beautiful architecture, amazing vegan options (just not at the hotel 🙃), and friendly vibes all around. It’s a must-visit for plant-based travellers, foodies, and gin lovers alike 🌲🥂

Thanks for joining us! Don’t forget to like, subscribe, and drop a comment if you’ve ever had a hotel breakfast fail or a dessert so good you ascended 😂

Sightseeing in Härnösand: Weird Art, Wooden Houses & A Glass Wand 🧙‍♂️🇸🇪

Härnösand looks like Finland? Magnus and I explore this quirky Swedish town full of historic wooden houses, architectural oddities, secondhand treasures, and some very questionable art. Come along for laughs, charm, and unexpected magic.

Härnösand, located on Sweden’s High Coast, is a small but historically rich town surrounded by sea and forests. With buildings dating back to the 18th century, the streets are full of beautiful wooden homes, quirky facades, and surprises around every corner.

We start by admiring the architecture—especially St Petri Logen, a former Masonic lodge with serious symbolism vibes. The town’s wooden buildings almost feel more Finnish than Swedish, and we say that with love. 🏡🇫🇮

One large house draws us in with a dramatic entrance—until we get closer and realize the drama doesn’t hold up 😂 That sums up a lot of our Härnösand sightseeing: beautiful from afar, but with a twist up close.

Next, I stumble upon a bizarre modern art installation and instantly dub it “WHY?”—because sometimes, you just have to name things as you feel them 🖼️🤷‍♂️

Then: secondhand paradise. We find a HUGE vintage market filled with glassware, clothes, and oddities. I pick up a glass wand—yes, a glass wand! I assume it’s a decanter or maybe just a wizard accessory? Either way, it’s mine now 🧙‍♂️✨

Härnösand might be off the beaten track, but it’s full of hidden gems, humour, and charm. Whether you’re a history buff, thrift hunter, or architecture lover, this town has something for you. Plus, it’s just fun to explore a place where the buildings have personality and every corner might hold a laugh.

Thanks for watching! Like, comment, and subscribe if you love unique travel, Swedish towns, and unexpected finds. I post daily vlogs with a mix of theatre, food, vintage, and chaos—join the journey 🎥💛

Sweden Travel Vlog | Härnösand Cathedral & A Vegan Hotel Breakfast Disaster

Vegan breakfast fail? Swedish cathedral win. Come along as Magnus and I explore Härnösand the morning after the spectacular musical Höga Kusten — with gin, fountains, and spiritual surprises on the way!

We wake up at the beautiful and modern Härnö Gin Hotel in Härnösand, a coastal town in northern Sweden known for its scenic views and cultural charm. Spirits were high... until breakfast. As a vegan, I was genuinely looking forward to seeing what a stylish hotel could offer. Unfortunately, the "vegan options" amounted to plant-based yoghurt and some margarine. No hummus, no warm dishes, no fresh ideas. Especially frustrating since I contacted them in advance. It’s 2025. Do better.

Still, we make the most of our morning. 🌥️

We stroll to the small island next to the hotel, where there's a curious little fountain that looks like it belongs in a Wes Anderson film. Then it’s off to H&M to upgrade our iPhone covers (priorities!) before popping into Systembolaget to scout for Hernö Gin—locally made and award-winning. We skip buying it for now... but we’ll be back. 😎

Then, the surprise of the day: Härnösands domkyrka. Sweden’s smallest cathedral—and perhaps its most charming. Completed in 1846 after a series of devastating fires, this neoclassical gem was designed by Johan Adolf Hawerman and is filled with spiritual elegance. The light-filled interior, the ornate organ, the salvaged 17th-century altarpiece, and even the crypt all speak of history, resilience, and beauty. It’s an unexpectedly serene stop, and we were so glad we made the time.

With our bags packed but left behind at the hotel for convenience (shoutout to late trains), we wrap up this mini adventure with lighter hearts and heavier phones filled with footage 📱💼💕

Thank you for following my Swedish summer adventures, where theatre meets travel, and not every breakfast is a dream 😅

Vegan Buffet, Rainy Travel & Outdoor Musical in Härnösand | Sweden Vlog ...

We travelled to Härnösand for vegan food, rainstorms, and outdoor musical theatre—and it was worth every soggy step! 🌧️🎶🥗

In this travel vlog, I take you with me and Magnus as we journey from Stockholm to Härnösand. It’s rainy, it’s dramatic, it’s delicious—and it ends under the stars at an unforgettable musical.

Our adventure begins with a train ride from Stockholm 🚆 and hunger at max level 😅 Once in Härnösand, we head straight to the incredible Café Sigrid—a cozy spot with a full-on vegan buffet 🥗🌱 I go in hard on the buffet while Magnus gets the “Holy Smoke” salad 🔥

But getting to the island of Härnö isn’t simple—there’s maintenance 🚧 so we navigate some detours 🗺️ But hey, we made it! We check into the Hernö Gin Hotel 🍸 and luck out with a room on the sixth floor 🪟 The view is gorgeous… but no rest for the wicked—we have a musical to attend!

With a gin & tonic in hand 🍸 we prep for the rain 🌧️ I throw on my shiny silver raincoat 🪙 and orange rubber shoe protectors 🧡 Magnus shows up in a Peruvian poncho 🇵🇪 and we both carry umbrellas ☔ The theatre life waits for no one!

We hop on a bus to Lövvik 🚍 crossing the stunning Höga Kusten Bridge 🌉 and arriving just in time for the performance of HÖGA KUSTEN, written by Tomas Ledin and directed by Markus Virta 🎭🎶 It’s a sensation—it’s now in its second summer run, and the audience was glowing with excitement despite the drizzle.
