Instead, I awoke under a blanket of barometric tension — the sky taut like a Balenciaga sleeve, my shoulders stiff from swimming as if coached by Neptune himself. 💦👑
The ache was Grecian. Heroic. So naturally, I reached for my stone rolling pin, a domestic object turned gladiator’s remedy. 🪨 It was no use. I plugged in my electric massager like a housewife in a 1950s science-fiction fantasy. I pulsed and buzzed like Sputnik. Painful. Gorgeous.
And then: errands. The great equaliser. I needed an adapter — not metaphorical, darling, an actual one — for my hard drive. Without it, the video you’re now watching would still be trapped in limbo, like a couture sketch in a war drawer. I ventured to Kjell & Company, which sounds like a Swiss boarding school but is, in fact, a temple of cords and techno-dreams. 🔌📦
Then, the groceries. Rapeseed oil (because olive is so obvious), red lentils (for colour and protein), juice, saft, and popcorn — because hydration and indulgence are not mutually exclusive. 🍿🛒💧
I packed up two new bags for SELLPY, Sweden’s answer to fashion reincarnation. The items? Too numerous to name. Too fabulous to forget. One cannot live forever with unworn wedges from 2016.
I also began sketching out Magnus’ Birthday Surprise Day — a medley of mystery, vegan decadence, and high theatricality. 🎭💐 One must celebrate the people who wear eyeliner and sincerity well.
At 17:30, the weather paused — like an aria waiting for the soprano’s breath. I sat on the balcony in a linen robe with a paperback novel and a glass of juice, feeling like an heiress in decline. 🌅📖🕊️
Ulf and I texted about feeling strange. But not sad. Not tired. Strange. The kind of strange that makes you sort your summer shoes and contemplate your entire identity via espadrilles. 👠👡🩴
By sunset, I was a little better. I had filmed, uploaded, massaged, adapted, sorted, planned, bought, and existed. Is that not enough?
