CAN A FROZEN SPRING ROLL ACTUALLY DEFINE YOUR ENTIRE NEW YEAR?

CAN A FROZEN SPRING ROLL ACTUALLY DEFINE YOUR ENTIRE NEW YEAR? 🎆 Tonight, I am taking you on a journey through the most chaotic, stylish, and shimmering New Year’s Eve celebration Stockholm has ever seen. If you have ever felt like the pressure of a perfect holiday is too much, this video is your sanctuary. We are finding the absolute glamour in the mundane, proving that a high-end lifestyle is about the spirit you bring to the party, not just the price of the bottle. Join me as we navigate the transition from one year to the next with nothing but a bicycle, a box of frozen treats, and a thirst for Tasmanian excellence. 🥂 This isn't just a vlog; it’s a love letter to friendship and the quirky obsessions that make our lives worth living. 🧤

It began with a simple craving. I marched into the local grocery store to secure frozen spring rolls—the ultimate party fuel for the modern man. 🛒 Then, I arrived at Magnus’s doorstep to find he had embraced the future: the air fryer. There is something deeply satisfying about watching a kitchen appliance achieve such crispness! 🌪️ While the snacks sizzled, we explored his apartment, which is essentially a museum dedicated to the art of LEGO.

🧱 Seeing thousands of bricks assembled into complex structures reminded me that we are all just building our lives one piece at a time. It’s nostalgic, it’s vibrant, and it’s deeply personal. To kick off the festivities, we leaned into the classics. A Wet Martini is the only way to properly say goodbye to the past. 🍸 We followed that with a bottle of Tasmanian sparkling wine I picked up yesterday—a hidden gem from the southern hemisphere that brings a crisp, rebellious energy to the glass. 🍾

But the highlight was the transit! We grabbed our bikes and rode through the chilly Stockholm air toward Folkoperan. 🚲 There is something so liberating about cycling to a formal concert in the snow. We were headed toward a night of orchestral beauty and operatic heights, but this is only the first half of the story.

🎻 More adventures await in the next installment! This is the ultimate guide to romanticizing your life in 2026. If you want to see more of how we blend high culture with everyday fun, you need to hit that subscribe button and turn on notifications. We are just getting started! 🦢 🎞️ 🎟️ 🌬️ 🏙️ 📦 🧪 🍹 🐥 🧵 📱 🎭 🏛️ 🌮 🐊 🐅 🫐 🧺 🧼 🧊 🌊 🥂 🏙️ 🧥 👔 🎩 🧊 🕯️ 🥃 🍇 🥨 #j251231

HAVE YOU EVER BEEN BETRAYED BY A GOOGLE MAPS OPENING HOUR? 🕒😱

What happens when your meticulously planned night out hits a brick wall of "closed" signs and digital lies? Today, I’m taking you on a journey through the highs and lows of last-minute Christmas shopping in Stockholm, where the vintage treasures are plentiful but the boule bars are inexplicably dark. This is more than just a vlog; it's a testament to the art of the pivot. We all know that feeling of excitement turning into frustration when a business doesn't update its hours, but I’m showing you how to turn a closed door into a neon-lit Thai feast. This video is about the resilience of friendship, the joy of finding that perfect vintage piece for family, and the exotic sweetness of a gift from halfway across the world. Join me as we navigate the streets of Söder, find the heat in the spices of Kina Li, and laugh off the digital laziness of the city. 🚲🌶️🍜

In this longform vlog, we start at the editing desk—the heartbeat of any content creator’s life. I’m sharing my workflow before hitting the road on my bike. Our first stop is a local hidden gem: the Gudrun Sjödén Outlet. If you’ve ever wondered where to find high-quality vintage style and unique textiles for the women in your life, this is it. I’m picking out special pieces for Mama and Cina, proving that thoughtful gifting doesn't have to break the bank if you have a keen eye for pattern and history. 👗🧶

Next, we head into the heart of Södermalm to visit Kina Li, the ultimate destination for Asian supermarket finds in Stockholm. I’m on a mission to bring some fire to Öland! We’re picking out authentic spices that will make for the most fragrant Christmas presents. It’s a sensory explosion of ginger, chili, and star anise that reminds us that the best gifts are the ones you can taste. Then, the drama unfolds. I meet up with Magnus only to find our original plan—Ugglans Boule och Bar—is a total bust. We discuss the sheer frustration of incorrect online hours and why businesses need to do better in 2026. 🎳❌

But the night is saved! We retreat to the tropical atmosphere of Koh Phangan. I’m diving into a lush vegan noodle dish while we talk about Magnus’s recent travels. The highlight? A massive bag of Vietnamese candy he brought back just for me. It’s a sugary, colorful deep dive into international snacks that you won’t want to miss. Whether you're here for the vintage fashion tips, the Stockholm restaurant recommendations, or just to see me rant about bad websites, there's a place for you at our table. 🌴🍬🇻🇳

Life doesn't always go according to the website, but it always goes according to your attitude. I want to hear from you: what’s your go-to restaurant when your first choice falls through? And have you ever tried Vietnamese candy—what was your favorite flavor? Let’s talk about the beauty of the backup plan in the comments below. IKEA, LARS TUNBJÖRK, AND WHY I UTTERLY HATED THE SHOW 📸🚫🇸🇪

CAN A TRIP TO IKEA AND A PHOTO EXHIBIT SAVE A TERRIBLE DAY? 🛍️📸

Have you ever felt that strange, electric pull between the absolute boredom of chores and the sudden spark of high art? Today, I’m taking you on a journey through a day that started at the editing desk and ended in the soul of Sweden. This isn't just a vlog; it's an invitation to see the world differently. I’m sharing my private moments of frustration with a show I utterly loathed, balanced against the profound genius of a photography legend. We all struggle to find meaning in the daily grind, but sometimes, a vegan brownie and a friend can make the world spin on its axis again. This is about finding the "chic" in the chaos and the "art" in the grocery store. Join me for a day of raw honesty, bright colors, and the best vegan fika in Stockholm. ☕✨

In this longform video, we dive into the creative process of a content creator. I start by showing you my morning routine—editing and uploading to Instagram and YouTube. It’s the digital craftsmanship that keeps me connected to all of you. But then, the real world calls! I head to IKEA for some essential lifestyle upgrades. We’re talking fridge organization containers and a little holiday magic for my friend Cicki Lindholm. Who knew a plastic bin could be so satisfying? 🏠📦

The highlight of the day is our visit to Kulturhuset to see Lars Tunbjörk’s "Landet utom sig." This exhibition is a masterpiece of social commentary. Tunbjörk had a unique, almost supernatural ability to capture the surreal, mundane, and absurdly colorful reality of Swedish life. From the fluorescent lights of a supermarket to the desolate beauty of a parking lot, his sharp eye for composition and saturated colors creates a portrait of a welfare state in transition. It is an essential, eye-opening experience that every art lover needs to see. 📸🇸🇪✨

We wrap up the day at the vegan hotspot Kafe Plattan. I’m diving into a vegan wrap and coffee while catching up with Cicki. Watch her reaction as she opens her Christmas presents and scores a freshly made vegan semla—the ultimate Swedish winter treat! I opted for a rich, dark brownie because sometimes, you just can't wait. We also get into a very honest, very unfiltered discussion about the theater show I recently saw. Spoiler alert: I hated it. Find out why I think it was a complete waste of spirit and style. 🎭🚫🍫

Keywords: Lars Tunbjörk photo exhibition, Landet utom sig Kulturhuset, Stockholm vegan cafe Kafe Plattan, IKEA organization haul 2025, Cicki Lindholm vlog, vegan semla Stockholm, video editing for influencers, Swedish photography legend, social commentary art, theater review Stockholm, male influencer lifestyle, creative process vlog, Stockholm fika guide, lifestyle organization tips, Lars Tunbjörk colors, photography inspiration, Stockholm city guide winter. 🏙️💎🔥

Art and life are inseparable, even when the art is a photo of a parking lot and the life is a trip to buy storage boxes. I want to hear your thoughts: can an artist truly capture the "soul" of a country through everyday objects? Or is beauty always something more grand? Let's discuss the magic of the mundane in the comments below. If you enjoy these deep dives into the Stockholm cultural scene mixed with a little bit of retail therapy, make sure to subscribe and hit the notification bell. Your support means everything to me as I navigate this colorful, tragicomic life! 👑💅✨🎬🍿🎭🥂🇸🇪🧤🧥💍🏺🛋️✨🚫🛑

WHAT DO I DO WITH THE WORLD'S WORST CHRISTMAS GIFT? 🎁🚫💀

IS IT EVER OKAY TO REGIFT THE WORST PRESENT YOU’VE EVER RECEIVED? 🎁😱

Have you ever stared at a package and thought, "Who on earth believed I wanted this?" Today, I’m taking you on an emotional roller coaster through the final performance of the year, where we tackle the ultimate taboo—passing on a truly terrible Christmas gift. We’ve all been there: that awkward silence when you open something that feels like a personal attack on your taste. But instead of letting it gather dust, we’re turning it into a brilliant new tradition! Join me behind the scenes in this vlog where we mix raw honesty with shimmering showbusiness magic. It’s about friendship, laughter, and finding joy in the most unexpected places. 🎭✨

In this video, you’ll follow me through a hectic day in Stockholm that begins with a glittery subway commute and ends in a gifting feast like no other. I reveal the infamous nylon sweater from David—a garment so wrong it becomes right—and how I managed to foist it upon the poor Ola Forssmed during the year’s final show. We dive into the art of giving back, where I source lime powder for David’s cocktail glasses as a "thank you" for his vegan chocolate. It’s practical, it’s trendy, and it’s just the right amount of sour. 🍋🍸

We also open treasures from my fantastic friends. Terran drops by with anti-stress clay and a wonderful little elf that immediately finds a home on the dressing table. Then there’s Lisa, who gives me the ultimate gadget for any wine lover: a fake wine bottle that conceals a corkscrew and a drop stopper. It’s the kind of creativity I live for! Throughout the video, we explore how to maintain your calm and your style in the middle of the Christmas rush using glitter, gloss, and the right company. 🍷🎅✨

This is more than just a video; it’s a reminder that the holidays are about community and not taking life too seriously. Whether you’re on the subway with a bag full of sequins or trying to explain why you gave away your makeup man’s sweater, you’re not alone. I want to hear your craziest holiday stories. I CUT DOWN MY AVOCADO TREES FOR THIS "USEFUL" PLANT... THEN A MONDAY NIG...

Is it dramatic to say I've declared war on my own house plants? And how did a simple Monday dinner turn into a six-hour Riesling and true-crime marathon? You won't want to miss this chaotic, cozy Stockholm vlog! 🇸🇪🏠

Hello, everyone, and welcome back! Monday, the day of resolutions and reinvention, began with a moment of brutal honesty: my indoor avocado trees had become a bit... much. They are lovely, of course, but one must embrace utility! My new indoor garden philosophy is simple: functional plants only! I walk you through the painful process of trimming back the avocado jungle and introducing some gorgeously architectural and utterly useful snake plants (they clean the air, you know!). If you’re a house plant parent struggling with clutter, this segment offers some truly cathartic decluttering motivation. 🌱✂️

Next up: a culinary crisis averted! I’ve been terribly triste about falling out of the habit of creating new recipes, but my new plan is to use what I have. I call it the "Pantry Inventory Challenge." Today’s victory involved finding a lonely packet of red rice. I quickly whipped that up into a delightful, improvised vegan lunch: perfectly cooked red rice, topped with pan-fried vegetables, and a truly indulgent tofu and peanut butter sauce—with slices of banana! Don't judge the combination until you try it! It’s an easy, protein-packed, and surprisingly delicious meal that proves you don't need exotic ingredients for great food. I offer some quick tips on how to make your own version of this quick tofu recipe. 🍌🥜

After a necessary interlude for some satisfying recycling (the glamour of city life!), it was time for the evening's main event: a visit to my friend Ulf's apartment for a little dumpling feast! 🥟

On the way, I made a crucial stop at Systembolaget, the Swedish liquor store. The evening’s choice? Riesling—four glorious bottles of the crisp, white nectar! Now, I must be perfectly clear, we did, in fact, finish all four. BUT, it was over the sophisticated span of six hours. It wasn't a sprint; it was a marathon of witty banter and excellent wine pairings with the dumplings. The evening was capped off with the delightful, dark comedy of binge-watching the first season of Only Murders in the Building. If you’re looking for a new show to get obsessed with, this is it! It’s the perfect blend of cozy atmosphere and intriguing mystery. 🍷🕵️‍♂️

FROM BACKSTAGE TO BAGUETTES: THEATRE LIFE, OLIVE OIL & THE GILDED AGE FI...

In today’s vlog, I take you behind the velvet curtain of my day: from the quiet rituals of the theatre to the grand finale of The Gilded Age with my friend Ulf.

🎭 At the Theatre
The day begins in my role as dresser and costume supervisor. It may sound mundane—recycling, organizing, putting forgotten items in the trash—but backstage life is never trivial. It’s where the elegance of order supports the chaos of performance. Even throwing things away feels like part of a larger stage play. ♻️🗑️

🏠 Home Interlude

I slip home for a moment to collect a few essentials. In vlogs, as in life, these pauses are where you glimpse the rhythm of reality: the small steps that hold the big ones together.

🍷🥖 Dinner at Ulf’s
The evening, however, is where glamour hides in simplicity. I arrive at Ulf’s with a fresh baguette—crisp, airy, divine. Paired with good olive oil, it’s heaven in every dip. Add wine, add pasta, add the final episode of The Gilded Age, and you have a modern salon of laughter, food, and storytelling.

📺 The Gilded Age Finale
We watch the last episode together, marveling at the grand society drama. For me, it mirrors the theatre world—costumes, secrets, triumphs, collapses. And Ulf? He plays his usual role, falling asleep on the couch before the credits roll. 🛋️😴 A ritual so reliable it has become part of the entertainment.

💫 Why Watch This Vlog?

Because it’s not only about theatre or television—it’s about finding the spectacle in the everyday. A baguette can be as glamorous as a ballroom. A nap can be as iconic as an aria. And friendship, in its sleepy, wine-soaked honesty, is the greatest performance of all.

👉 If you’ve ever found luxury in the smallest rituals—bread, wine, laughter—share your story in the comments. Don’t forget to like, subscribe, and join me for more vlogs where the backstage meets the balcony, and the ordinary becomes extraordinary.

🎭🗑️♻️🔥👔🥖💛🍷🍝📺✨🛋️😴🏛️🎬🌟😂🍇🍅🌆

LEOPARD PRINT, AI EMOTIONS & BALCONY PASTA: A THEATRE LIFE VLOG IN STOCK...

In this Friday vlog, I take you through a day where theatre, second-hand fashion, and AI collide to create something entirely unexpected—and entirely fabulous.

📦 The Morning Parcels
The day begins with surprises waiting at my door. Two parcels, two stories: a Rabanne x H&M leopard-print shirt, discovered on the second-hand app Vinted and shipped from Warsaw; and a pair of Lagerfeld pour H&M jeans. Second-hand, yes—but also second life. Because fashion is not only about newness, darling—it’s about transformation, circulation, and storytelling.

🎭 At the Theatre
I slip into my professional rhythm as dresser and costume supervisor, placing costumes in actors’ dressing rooms. These quiet rituals are the backstage heartbeat of theatre: small tasks that hold up entire productions.

🤠 The Shirt and Its Feelings
Later, I try on the leopard shirt. To my astonishment, it makes me feel like a cowboy—bold, solitary, cinematic. But why stop at one feeling? I ask AI to provide three emotions I can model in this garment. The results are a performance in themselves—unexpected, theatrical, and profoundly funny. Technology becomes my co-star, reminding me that style is not about fabric alone but about how it changes our presence.

🍝 Balcony Pasta
The day ends not with applause, but with pasta. Fried tomatoes, simple and rich, eaten on the balcony in the late-summer warmth. Food, like fashion, is theatre for the senses.

💫 Why Watch This Vlog?
Because it’s not only about fashion or theatre—it’s about how daily rituals transform into little spectacles. A parcel becomes a performance. A shirt becomes an identity. Pasta becomes a celebration of the everyday.

👉 If you’ve ever had a piece of clothing that turned you into someone else—someone freer, louder, more daring—tell me in the comments! Don’t forget to like, subscribe, and join me for more vlogs where theatre meets life, and fashion meets feeling.

Have YOU ever had a squirrel join your brunch? 😂💬

Start your day with me in Midsommarkransen as I show you what it’s really like being a content creator, vlogger, and dresser for a musical theatre in Stockholm 🇸🇪🎭
This video is a whirlwind of creativity, digital nostalgia, vegan food, and… an unexpected squirrel 🐿️

Every morning, I begin by editing yesterday’s Instagram story videos so I can post them across all platforms—YouTube, TikTok, Insta, you name it. After exporting the final cut 🎞️, I head to my computer to upload the video and write the perfect description that captures the chaos and charm of daily creative life.

But here’s where it gets fun: I also upload the oldest photo on my iPhone (today’s was me in a colorful, wild outfit 🧣🕶️) to my social media… and then erase it! It’s my weirdly satisfying daily ritual that keeps my feed feeling both fresh and nostalgic 🌀📸

Brunch? Oh, it’s a vegan feast: crispy fried potatoes, hearty baked beans, and IKEA’s beloved vegan meatballs. The perfect plant-based comfort combo 🌱🍽️ Mid-brunch, something totally unexpected happens—a SQUIRREL casually strolls across my window ledge like it’s no big deal 🐿️😂

Inspired, I create a story from that old iPhone photo by having ChatGPT read a poetic description of it aloud 📱🔊 I record that and turn it into content, because why not? Finally, I cook up a garlicky, fried Chinese smelly tofu dish that smells intense but tastes amazing 😋🧄

🌍 I live in the creative suburb of Midsommarkransen in Stockholm.
🎭 I work as a dresser and costume supervisor at a musical theatre.
📲 I upload content daily: vlogs, vegan recipes, nostalgic photos, theatre life and more.

Whether you’re a fellow content creator, theatre nerd, or vegan foodie, you’ll love diving into my chaotic but joyful routines.

Let me know your favorite part of the video in the comments! Have YOU ever had a squirrel join your brunch? 😂💬

A Day in My Life: Editing, Spicy Bánh Mì & Theatre Fails | Stockholm Vlog

A behind-the-scenes look at my REAL day as a content creator and influencer in Stockholm 🌟🎥—from digital hustle to spicy bánh mì and an unforgettable (for all the wrong reasons) theatre experience!

My day starts the same way it always does—editing 📲 yesterday’s Instagram Stories to make them ✨ready✨ for all my socials (YouTube, TikTok, Insta & beyond). I sit down with my coffee ☕, chop up video clips 🎬, polish them, and craft descriptions that (hopefully!) grab your attention. Then, like clockwork, I upload the oldest photo on my iPhone 📸 and erase it—it’s my fave way to keep my feed nostalgic but ✨always fresh✨.

After my editing session, it’s time to hop on my bike 🚲 and head into the heart of Stockholm to meet Martin. We’re trying Saigon Baguette 🇻🇳, a gem of a Vietnamese restaurant on Gamla Brogatan, famous for its authentic street food vibes and mouthwatering bánh mì 🥖. I arrive late (thanks, traffic 🚦), but spring is in the air 🌞, so spirits are high! Martin’s rocking his black sequin tux jacket and a white shirt 🤵, plus I’ve lent him my red and black tiger-stripe scarf 🐅 for extra flair. I’m in my signature bulky black bomber jacket, covered in black glittery stones ✨🖤, and my matching tiger-stripe bag 🎒.

The food? INCREDIBLE. Martin was a bit overwhelmed by the spice 🌶️ but loved every bite. We had a good laugh over it—and if you’ve never had bánh mì, you need to fix that ASAP.

Next stop: Stadsteatern for Jonas Gardell’s play “Pensionat Oskar.” I had high hopes... but wow. I absolutely *hated* it 🙈. The lights and set design? Gorgeous. But everything else? Total bore 🥱. Martin was more diplomatic, but let’s just say we were both ready for something stronger.

Cue our escape to Sidetrack 🍸, Stockholm’s oldest gay bar near Mariatorget. Sidetrack is iconic: laid-back during the week, buzzing on weekends, with great Swedish food 🍽️ and signature cocktails 🍹. We chilled with a drink and laughed off the weird theatre night. If you’re visiting Stockholm, this bar’s a must-visit 🌈💫.

🎉 From zero plans to a musical night at Globen—my spontaneous day took a...

Today’s vlog starts with my usual digital ritual ☕💻—editing yesterday’s Instagram Stories, uploading across all platforms (YouTube, TikTok, Insta), and posting the oldest photo from my iPhone before deleting it 📸🗑️. It’s all part of my fresh + nostalgic content routine that keeps my feed dynamic and fun.

🎟️ Then, the unexpected happens. My friend Jennie Backman texts me: her girlfriend is sick—do I want to join her for *We Will Rock You* at AVICII Arena (Globen)? OF COURSE! Suddenly, my day gets a whole new direction 🎶👑

✨ My outfit? Leopard print beanie from Giambattista Valli x H&M 🐆 and a black hooded Moschino x H&M bomber jacket with DC disc patterns 🔥 Because musical theatre deserves a fashion moment, even in your pockets—because yes, we couldn’t bring bags due to a terror threat at the venue 🎒🚫

🎤 The show? Mixed feelings. The iconic music was there, but I missed a strong POV. Still, Margaretha Julle’s costume design stole the spotlight 💃

🥖 On arrival, I was hit with nostalgia. I used to work here—at the subway stop Globen—selling bread in the late ‘80s and early ‘90s. Life’s funny like that.

🛒 Post-show, I picked up tortilla chips from ICA Årsta, and a teen called my jacket “so cool.” That + chips = JOY.

📍I'm Joakim, a costume supervisor and dresser at a musical theatre in Stockholm 🇸🇪. Based in Midsommarkransen, I post daily videos about theatre, style, vegan food, and creative chaos 📹🌱✨
