HOW I GOT MY BOOK OF VREELAND MEMOS #socialmediajourney #everydayinspo #...

Today’s video kicks off with me doing some morning editing – yesterday’s stories are getting polished up for Reels, YouTube, and TikTok. But before I dive into the day, it's time to tidy up! I’m prepping my apartment for company, recycling my mountain of plastic and paper, and heading to the store to pick up a few exciting finds: Diana Vreeland's legendary memos from Vogue and a Margiela x H&M suit jacket.

But in the midst of all this, it seems Instagram's got me in a bit of a slump – no idea what I did, but the algorithm gods seem displeased. Let’s hope the extra reels, a dash of style, and a cozy home update win them over again!

Later, my friend Martin stops by, and he’s brought sparklers! After gifting him a mini chandelier lamp, we make cocktails (kamikazes, anyone?), and I serve gin lemonade in my new bauble glasses from Dollarstore, which give serious festive vibes. The night’s feature film? *Young Frankenstein* as a tribute to the brilliant Teri Garr, a perfect ending to our evening of laughs, nostalgia, and good company.

So, if you’re into home style, retro Hollywood, or just looking for a cozy winter night idea, this one's for you! Like, follow, and comment below if you think I should keep rocking those festive cocktails.

What if… You Saw Behind the Scenes of an Understudy's Journey

This is the oldest photo on my iPhone, snapped on November 22, 2023, in the bustling dressing room at the theatre. Here, we have Joakim Jennefors, one of the finest actors I know, as he prepares for an understudy run-through in the role of Gottfrid—a character typically brought to life by the legendary Tommy Körberg. Joakim has embodied this role countless times since, stepping in with skill and poise whenever he’s needed. He's in full costume and makeup, pausing for a quick FaceTime with his family, bringing a glimpse of his personal world into this deeply professional setting. You can sense the balance of work and warmth in this moment, an actor’s dedication shining through.

Taken in Tommy Körberg’s dressing room, this photo carries the weight of theatre tradition and camaraderie. The dressing room itself holds stories within its walls, and in this moment, Joakim is part of that legacy. You can even spot the reflection of our talented makeup artist and wig designer, David Julio, in the window behind him. David has been our creative backbone for years, adding an extra touch of magic to every character, every performance.

There’s something humbling and magical about seeing an actor in this preparatory moment—a mixture of nerves, focus, and love for the craft. It’s these behind-the-scenes moments that remind me of why I love what I do, working in a world where every small detail, every bit of makeup, every fitting, and every rehearsal contributes to something truly grand on stage. Joakim's journey as an understudy brings a sense of dedication that often goes unseen, yet it’s vital to the heart of theatre.

This picture captures a rare glimpse of the theatre’s hidden life, the people, and the dedication behind each performance. These quiet, intimate moments are what make the theatre feel like home.

HOW I GOT MY HABIBI T SHIRT #LifeOfCreativity #MuseumMoments #Storytelli...

Today starts with editing yesterday’s Instagram Stories into fresh Reels for YouTube, TikTok, and IG. 🎬 After a quick breakfast, I jump on my bike to hit the city, on a mission for some Simone Rocha sunglasses at two H&M stores dropping their latest pre-loved pieces. 🕶️

Next stop? Meeting up with Lisa Sundstedt at Medelhavsmuseet, the Museum of Mediterranean and Near Eastern Antiquities in Stockholm! 🏛️ This place is like a treasure trove of ancient artifacts, from Egyptian mummies to Greek pottery. But today, we’re here for something special—the *Habibi – The Revolutions of Love* exhibition. 🌈 It’s an amazing showcase where artists from the Arab world, Iran, and Afghanistan explore identity, love, and freedom through their art. The exhibit sheds light on LGBTQIA+ rights, personal stories of exile, and a world where inclusive, alternative communities are imagined. It’s a powerful reminder of the change art can inspire, and the courage it takes to create these stories. 🌍

Lunch with Lisa in the museum’s cafe wraps up the visit before I’m off to my friend Ulf’s place for some wine and a Netflix session—we’re binging *Inventing Anna*. 🍷📺 Love how every day brings a new adventure!

Living in Midsommarkransen, I work as a dresser and costume supervisor for a musical theatre in Stockholm, and my daily vlogs highlight my love for vegan cooking, theatre, and unique style. Each day I post a new video and upload my oldest iPhone photo to my feed, refreshing my digital story while saying goodbye to memories. It’s a nostalgic twist that keeps my feed lively and authentic! 🎥💫

Watch my journey and drop a comment if you’ve seen the *Habibi* exhibit or have recs for vintage sunglasses! 🌟

What If... the Makeup Artist Became the Star?

This throwback photo captures my colleague of 17 years, David Julio, in an unexpected moment at the theatre, taken on November 22, 2023. David is not only the talented makeup artist and wig designer behind so many transformations on stage, but he also takes on a unique role as an understudy in the show. In his 60s now, David still brings the energy and physique from his days as a dancer, which he uses to make occasional cameos in productions. In this show, he steps in as the stage manager when Joakim Jennefors, the main actor for this role, takes on the lead for Tommy Körberg. It’s a fascinating chain of talent and teamwork!

The photo is set backstage, where you can feel the mix of focus and excitement. David stands confidently in his stage manager costume, embodying the character with a natural ease that comes from years of experience, both on stage and behind the scenes. Born in the U.S. and now living in Stockholm for over four decades, David brings his own stories and depth to each role he takes on. When he’s not at the theatre, he’s enjoying life with his husband on a serene island in the Swedish archipelago, a peaceful contrast to the lively theatre world.

This photo is meaningful to me because it shows a rare side of David, embodying a character on stage rather than helping others step into their roles. It’s a reminder of how interconnected and versatile we are in theatre, where each of us can play multiple parts, sometimes both literally and figuratively.

It’s these moments, where my creative colleagues surprise me, that I love sharing with you all. David’s passion and dedication are inspiring, whether he’s crafting the perfect wig or filling in on stage to keep the magic alive. Have you had a mentor or friend who’s unexpectedly worn different hats like this? Let me know in the comments! 💫

HOW I GOT MY BAUBLES FROZEN #dayinthelife #funtimes #dailyvlog #contentc...

In this video, I start my day editing yesterday's Instagram Stories for Reels, YouTube, and TikTok, making sure each clip flows perfectly. Then comes my little holiday experiment: I fill these quirky, Christmas-tree bauble-shaped glasses with water and pop them in the freezer for a DIY “ice ball” cocktail chill test, like a dress rehearsal for tonight’s cocktail moment with Martin! It’s all about setting the mood in a fun way, right? 💫

Next up, apartment cleaning! With everything fresh and neat, I head out to the dentist for a check-up. Newsflash: I have a cavity! I also realize my new dentist is from Ireland. But between the accent and dental lingo, it took me a minute to figure out where she’s from and what she was actually saying. 😅 We ended up laughing, and I learned a little about Irish accents (and that I need a filling).

When I get back home, it’s time to put that frozen glass to use! I whip up a kamikaze cocktail, just to taste-test the whole frozen bauble glass vibe. Let’s just say, the result is both frosty and festive!

For those wondering: I’m a dresser and costume supervisor for a musical here in Stockholm and live in Midsommarkransen, just outside the city. My world is all about vlogging, vegan cooking, theater, and style. I’m also keeping my social feed fresh by uploading the oldest photo on my iPhone every day, deleting it, and moving on—keeping it nostalgic, one post at a time! 🍸📱

What If… Denny Became Zack?

This is the oldest photo on my iPhone, a close-up of Denny Lekström in the role of Zack, fully in costume during the understudy run-through of our show on November 22, 2023. At this point, Denny was standing in for Lindy Larsson, the original actor in this intense role. Who would have guessed that a year later, Denny would step into Zack's shoes full-time, bringing his unique energy to every performance? The journey from understudy to lead is never guaranteed, but Denny’s passion and commitment made it seem inevitable.

Captured backstage, the photo highlights Denny’s expressive face in the moments just before stepping onto the stage. His costume reflects the character’s rugged and bold persona, hinting at the intensity of the opening number. There’s an energy in his eyes—a mix of nerves, excitement, and a touch of ambition. Seeing him ready to embody Zack was a reminder of the dedication that every performer brings, even when they’re waiting in the wings for their moment to shine.

We snapped this at the theatre during a rare break, and looking at it now brings back memories of our shared time on OSCARSREVYN and later in *Gentlemannen.* It’s an inspiring reminder that we’re always evolving, taking on new challenges, and sometimes, a single moment of opportunity changes everything.

This photo resonates with me not only because of the moment itself but also because of what it represents—Denny’s journey, the fluidity of theatre, and the way each role is both a responsibility and a privilege. It’s a piece of history, but also a glimpse into a story of growth and perseverance that’s so common yet unique to every actor.

Who else here has been inspired by seeing someone grow into a role they were born to play? 🌟

HOW I GOT MY SAFFRON BUN PAJAMAS #VeganLife #EverydayAdventures #BehindT...

Today’s vlog is packed with some everyday hilarity and a few unexpected twists! 🌟 My day kicks off with some editing work, where I get yesterday's Instagram Stories ready for Reels, YouTube, and TikTok. After getting those set, I head over to the theatre to dive into this week’s mending, laundry, and ironing duties. While I’m elbow-deep in costume work, Martin shows up bringing some vegan cinnamon buns—except, he calls them “Cinnamon Bums”! 😂 Then, he tries to name one of my favorite shows, *Brideshead Revisited*, but gets hilariously tangled up with the title.

Once the theatre day is done, it’s a mad dash to get home, as Ulf’s picking me up in half an hour. But the rain has other plans! By the time I get home, I’m soaked from biking, only to find out Ulf’s running half an hour late himself. We finally make it to Dollarstore, where I find the perfect holiday goodies: a pajama set with a saffron bun pattern, and some Christmas-scented soaps—one peppermint and one cinnamon! 🎄

Next stop, IKEA! It’s a little holiday shopping spree, and let’s just say I got a bit carried away in the aisles. But can you really have too many holiday supplies? 🤔

Living my best life in Midsommarkransen, balancing a fun day at the theatre with style, vegan treats, and a bit of shopping adventure! I share my everyday stories, theatre life, and vegan finds here, with daily uploads on Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Threads. What if…We Never Really See What’s Around Us?

Here’s a screen capture from November 20, 2023, the oldest photo on my phone, taken at a random Stockholm intersection. It’s funny because I don’t know exactly where this building is in the city, despite passing it before. The picture shows me, mid-vlog, bundled up in my long brown faux fur coat, an orange beanie, and a pearl-detailed Giambattista Valli hoodie. I’m giving this slightly baffled look as I take in the architecture behind me, appreciating a new perspective on a place I’ve probably seen a hundred times but never *noticed*.

There’s something so intriguing about catching yourself in a familiar city but feeling like a tourist, stumbling upon “new” old buildings. It was one of those Stockholm afternoons when the city lights glow just right, and details pop in unexpected ways – the kind of day that makes you pause and realize you’re always finding hidden gems in your own backyard.

That unexpected perspective reminds me why I love capturing moments and sharing them – it’s a way to rediscover and celebrate the everyday magic of life. Sometimes, we just need to look a little closer or from a different angle. Maybe I’ll find this spot again, but for now, this photo is a reminder that our city has endless secrets waiting to be discovered.

Featuring a mystery building in Stockholm, my orange beanie, and a dash of urban exploration spirit.

HOW I GOT SICILIAN BATH AND SHOWER GEL #BehindTheScenesFun #TheatreLife ...

In today’s second video, it’s all about the fun and funny side of theatre life as we prepare for the first show of the day. To start, I go around asking the cast and crew what their superhero name would be, which is their favorite animal + current mood combo! David, our backstage comedian, is now “Dog Hungry,” Miranda is “Dog Tired,” Hjalmar, in a hyper-focused state, is “Cat Concentrated,” and Isak—well, he’s still undecided on his spirit animal and his mood, which kept us all laughing. Everyone’s in high spirits (mostly), and it’s the perfect way to start a two-show Saturday with a few laughs.

Between shows, it’s treat-yourself time! Johanna and I made a pact to each find something small and special for ourselves. My pick? A Sicilian bath and shower gel from Åhléns that smells like a mini vacation. Johanna found herself a stylish metal hair clip, and we both had a chance to recharge before the evening show.

Living in Midsommarkransen, I’m balancing a life full of theatre, vegan cooking, and style. I love sharing daily stories like these, and every day I also post the oldest picture on my iPhone to Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Threads before deleting it. It’s a fun and nostalgic way to declutter and keep my feed fresh!

HOW I GOT INVOLVED IN A SWEET SMELLING SCEME #DailyRoutineVlog #FashionF...

In this funny, random day-in-the-life video, I start by editing yesterday’s Instagram stories into reels for Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube. Then, I make a quick stop at the store to pick up two exciting parcels. First is a box from the French fragrance house, Caron, featuring a bottle of “Caron pour un homme Le Soir,” which arrived in just two days—fancy and fast! Along with it came some Caron fragrance samples, and my colleague Johanna absolutely falls for one of them, Caron Oud Excelsa, only to realize it's out of her budget. Enter our backstage comedian, David, who decides to “help” by starting a GoFundMe for her! He’s a character with a “unique” sense of smell, describing all the scents as “plastic toys from the ’60s.” Gotta love David!

The second package is a fashion find from Sellpy: a pair of chic patent leather and grey suede evening shoes and a fun, electric blue pair from H&M’s Lanvin collab. Also in the box are some 60s-style sunglasses from Matthew Williamson for H&M—a bold, oversized multicolor pair. Johanna looks fantastic in them and pulls off the retro look effortlessly. She’s also multitasking and mending Pontus’s lederhosen for tonight’s show, so we’re definitely mixing fashion with function here!

Living in Midsommarkransen, Stockholm, every day I’m balancing vlogging, vegan cooking, theatre, and style. My creative twist is sharing the oldest picture on my iPhone daily across Instagram, Threads, YouTube, and TikTok before deleting it—a fresh, nostalgic way to declutter my phone while sharing a glimpse of the past.

What if…Appreciation Came with Surprise Gifts?

Here it is—the oldest photo on my phone, taken on November 17, 2023, capturing an unforgettable moment for me and the beautiful gifts from Karen Tatt, an amazing Tommy Körberg superfan from Great Britain. Karen traveled all the way to see the show, and since she’s a fan of my backstage content too, she surprised me with a thoughtful gift. Seeing someone connect with my behind-the-scenes content enough to share a piece of that joy with me—it’s such a special feeling. This photo is a reminder of the magic in sharing moments, even with people halfway around the world.

In the picture, you’ll see me holding the gifts from Karen, looking both surprised and delighted. It was taken just outside the theatre here in Stockholm, where she handed me the gifts with such kindness and enthusiasm. The background shows the familiar theatre entrance, adding to the feeling of warmth and connection that comes with working in such a community-centered space.

Featuring me and Karen’s gifts, this image captures a lovely surprise and a testament to how social media brings people together. Karen’s thoughtfulness and her excitement for Tommy Körberg’s work—and even my own little vlogs—remind me why I share these snippets of backstage life with all of you. I never expected my daily posts to resonate so far beyond my local stage, but I’m grateful for each connection.

It’s the moments like this that remind me of the power of community and storytelling, that behind every “like” and “comment” is a person with a shared love for the arts, or a laugh, or just a little glimpse of something familiar. So here’s to Karen and all of you for the support and connection—it means the world to me!

HOW I GOT MY BOOK HOME #DailyVloggers #CreativeRoutine #BackstagePass #S...

In this funny and entertaining video, you’ll join me from the very start of my day. First up: editing yesterday’s Instagram story videos into a smooth Reel ready to go for Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok. I love getting creative with transitions and picking the perfect clips for each platform—it’s a bit of a daily ritual at this point! Then, I grab my bike and head over to the theatre in the heart of Stockholm.

Once I’m there, I take time to capture a few establishing shots of the theatre. The place has its own magic, and I can’t resist sharing it with you, from the elegant architecture to the bustling energy backstage. Before the show begins, I go around chatting with the cast and crew, asking them what their “spy name” would be! It’s a fun twist—just take your favorite color and the name of your first pet. Mine? Orange Silketass. This little game was a hit, and everyone had a laugh getting into their “spy identities!”

After the final curtain call, I stick around to tackle the day’s laundry. Costume care and laundry are an important backstage task, and I try to keep things light and fun while I work. But I get a bit stuck on what to title this video, that is, until I remember the Diana Vreeland book *Allure* that I’ll be bringing home. So there it is: “How I Got My Book Home.”

Living here in Midsommarkransen, Stockholm, I’m all about capturing moments that show a blend of theatre life, vegan cooking, and style. Every day, I also post the oldest photo on my iPhone as a little nod to my journey, sharing it across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Threads before deleting it from my phone. It’s my way of keeping things fresh and a bit nostalgic.

Hit that follow if you’re into daily creative vibes and behind-the-scenes glimpses of theatre life! Let me know what your spy name would be in the comments!

What if…an Iconic Transformation Begins?

This is the oldest photo on my iPhone, a true hidden gem taken on November 16, 2023. It captures the multi-talented actress, singer, and entertainer Sanna Nielsen during a fitting for her role as Rut in the show. It was a special, secretive day, as she was preparing to take over this role from the equally incredible Helen Sjöholm, who was leaving to star in *Company* at Kulturhuset Stadsteatern. This early fitting wasn’t for her official debut but rather an upcoming photoshoot—an early glimpse of her transformation into Rut. It’s amazing how even then, Sanna’s dedication to each detail shone through.

In the photo, you’ll notice the length of Sanna’s dress is asymmetrical, shorter on one side. This detail is intentional: it’s the final length for the production but hadn’t yet been adjusted on both sides. The combination of makeup, glasses, wig, and costume gave her a fresh energy, and seeing her in character was thrilling. We were all waiting to see how she would bring her own twist to Rut, yet with the same heart and spirit Helen brought to the role. There was a quiet excitement in the air as she tried on each piece, knowing this moment was setting the stage for something big.

This photo is more than just a fitting image; it’s a snapshot of creative transition and a new chapter. It reminds me how each performer adds their unique magic to a role, breathing life into it in a new way every time. I still remember the buzz backstage, how everyone wanted to sneak a look while keeping it all under wraps—Sanna’s official debut was months away, but already, she was ready to take on the role with full force.

Looking at this now, I’m struck by how such moments are a bridge between past and future, capturing memories and potential in one. It’s a nostalgic throwback and a reminder of the artistry, precision, and pure joy that come with every show, every role, and every new beginning in theatre.

Can you feel the magic of a transformation?
