Today is an extra special day at the theatre—it's a double show Saturday and our 200th performance! 🎉 I start the day editing yesterday's Instagram Stories to share the highlights across all my social media. Then, I hop on my bike and head to work, where David has kicked off a GoFundMe for Johanna, who’s in desperate need of a new perfume (but apparently, no one is donating yet 🤔).
Between shows, we celebrate with cake, and after the second show, we’re topping it off with champagne. 🥂 It’s all part of our mini-party for reaching 200 shows! To make things even more fun, I go around asking the cast and crew to pick a number between 1 and 5, with each number leading to a question about our 200-show journey. The answers are both hilarious and heartwarming!
During the break, Johanna and I speed over to IKEA at Gallerian because we’re on a mission to buy something between shows. I pick up a red sofa cover for my IKEA Klippan sofa (a little change for the apartment!), while Johanna finally finds a self-watering flower pot to keep her plants happy.
The day wraps up with show #201, and then it’s time to bike home, re-energized and ready for another week of theatre magic. 💫 Days like these make me appreciate my amazing team and all the quirks that come with theatre life!
