 📜 Here lies a glimpse into my language-learning journey – a certificate from my participation in the EF Education First French language course. The certificate, elegantly printed in light blue on white paper, bears the signature of the school's headmistress, Birgitta Cuenaut.

🗓️ The date of this snapshot is a blast from the past: July 12th to August 2nd, 1982, a time when I embarked on this linguistic adventure in Antibes/Juan-les-Pins. It was the year I began my Gymnasiet, equivalent to High School in Sweden.

🌏 At a crossroads in my educational journey, I chose to learn French during the summer of 1982. Antibes/Juan-les-Pins became my classroom, but it was the life experiences beyond textbooks that became the most memorable. A French air pilot's apartment, a Mexican family, and an encounter with my bedroom mate who loved Cool and the Gang - each of these elements contributed to a tapestry of unforgettable moments. And while I may not have become a fluent French speaker, I did gain some life-altering experiences and the stories that would become a part of my life's narrative.
