In this funny and entertaining video, part two of the day, I’m back at the theatre getting everyone’s “pirate name!” I go around to the cast and crew and ask them to come up with their pirate name by combining “Captain” + the color of their top + the last movie or TV series they watched. The results? Pure gold! It’s hilarious seeing what everyone comes up with, and it gives us all a good laugh between scenes.
Then, I pass over 16 plays to my friend Lisa Sundstedt, who absolutely loves reading plays. These are ones I’d hoped to read but realistically will never get the time for, so Lisa is excited to take them on.
Later, Cicki arrives and surprises us with a treat bag full of her garden-grown apples, plus garlic bread, truffle bread, and some delicious crisps! It’s basically a mini feast, and let’s be real—who doesn’t love snacks before showtime?
Meanwhile, tonight’s performance has a bit of a shuffle going on with the cast. Since Sanna is out, Jenny Holmgren, her understudy, steps into the role, and Jenny’s understudy Hanna steps in for her. This means we’re down a German dancer for the “banana number,” and with Hjalmar out sick too, that’s two dancers down! But Petter and Emilia jump in, covering the empty spaces with style, and it turns out to be just enough. Their energy on stage is fantastic, and they keep everything flowing perfectly!
Living in Midsommarkransen, just outside Stockholm, means I’m always a quick ride from work. Working as a dresser and costume supervisor at the theatre keeps me busy, but I love vlogging, cooking vegan dishes, and sharing my theatre life and style adventures with you. Every day, I upload the oldest photo on my iPhone to Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Threads—then I delete it. It’s my fun way of keeping my feed fresh and nostalgic.
