Also pinned on the board is an artificial flower—its origins are a bit of a mystery, but it adds a splash of whimsy to the setting. One of my favorite objects in the background is a pride-flag-patterned fan. It holds a special place in my heart as it was a gift from my dear friend Christian Hedenfeld on his 40th birthday. This fan has accompanied me on many warm summer days, and it always reminds me of that joyful celebration.
The sofa I’m sitting on is where I often brainstorm and work, surrounded by these little tokens of the shows and people that have shaped my journey in theatre. This photo captures a moment of reflection, blending the past with the present.
I love how this image symbolizes both where I’ve been and where I’m going in my career. The items behind me are like breadcrumbs, tracing the path I’ve walked, but they also inspire me to keep pushing forward. The pride flag fan, in particular, reminds me of the importance of celebrating who we are, both in work and in life.
This photo may seem like a simple snapshot, but for me, it holds layers of meaning, memories, and emotion.
