This video is a hilarious and heartwarming end to our Öland adventure! In this final episode, my friend Ulf and I bid farewell to my parents in the charming village of Mörbylånga on the stunning Swedish island of Öland. But before we head home, we can't resist stopping by a quaint little farm to pick up some fresh, local produce. I go a bit overboard, of course, and end up with not just a bounty of vegetables like potatoes, squash, and fennel, but also some amazing lotions and face creams made from canola oil. Who knew farm shopping could be so tempting?
As we drive across the iconic Ölandsbron, we make a pit stop in Kalmar at Hansa Stan to grab a bite at Max—the perfect combo of lunch and dinner! On the way, we stumble upon a bizarre snack called donut rings, and you’ll have to watch to see our reactions. The road trip back to Stockholm is filled with laughs, but by the time we’re approaching the city, I start to feel the dreaded road trip cramp in my backside. The struggle is real!
For those who love a good road trip adventure with a side of vegan cooking and spontaneous shopping sprees, this video is for you. My life as a gay vegan man living in Midsommarkransen, Stockholm, is all about balancing my work as a dresser and costume supervisor in theatre with my passions for vlogging, vegan cooking, and style. Every day, I share a piece of my life through videos on Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Threads, and this one is no exception.
Join me on this fun journey, and don’t forget to check out the oldest picture on my iPhone that I’ll be posting today—it’s a quirky way I keep my feed both fresh and nostalgic. Let’s keep the conversation going—drop a comment, share your thoughts, and let me know if you’ve ever bought way too much at a farm stand!
