HOW I GOT THROUGH FRIDAY THE 13TH #theatrelife #vegancreator #backstage...

Starting my day by editing yesterday’s Instagram stories for Instagram Reels, YouTube, and TikTok always sets the vibe. The creative process is so fun, and it really helps me get into the right mood before heading off to the theatre! đŸ–„️✨ Today, we’ve got two understudies on—Joakim Jennefors and Pontus Wonkavaara—keeping things fresh and exciting backstage.

While I was at the theatre, Majsan sent me a text saying she was passing by on her way to another show. She stopped in to say hi, and while I was catching up with my son, Pontus Wonkavaara popped by! Turns out, he and Majsan go way back to working together on Matilda—they had a lot to catch up on! 👯‍♀️ It’s always such a small world in theatre, isn’t it? Meanwhile, Nils gave me a mini masterclass on his makeup routine for the show, and it’s seriously impressive. 🎹💄

The backstage shenanigans were in full force today, and with a regular show in the evening, it was a fantastic day full of laughter, moments of nostalgia, and everything I love about working in theatre. Days like this make me appreciate the energy and passion everyone brings to each performance, whether they’re on stage or behind the scenes.

Living in Midsommarkransen, a suburb of Stockholm, and working as a dresser and costume supervisor keeps me in the heart of the theatre world! 🎭 Besides theatre, I’m all about vlogging, vegan cooking, and style—basically, living my best life every day. Don’t forget, I upload daily videos on Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Threads, plus a nostalgic throwback photo from my iPhone, which I erase to keep my feed fresh! 🚀

Make sure to follow for more daily theatre fun, vegan tips, and behind-the-scenes vibes! đŸ’«

"Oldest Photo on My Phone: Cucumber Margarita with TajĂn"

This is the Oldest Photo on my Phone, taken on July 22, 2023, and features a Margarita with cucumber and TajĂn. TajĂn is a popular Mexican seasoning made from a blend of dried chili peppers, lime, and salt. It has a tangy, slightly spicy flavor with a zesty citrusy note. The combination of heat, salt, and acidity makes it perfect for adding that extra kick to a refreshing cocktail like this one.

My friend, the actor Magnus Boren, and I stumbled upon TajĂn while browsing cocktails online. Magnus was rehearsing for *EVERYBODY’S TALKING ABOUT JAMIE* in Malmö, and I was in Stockholm for *ÄNGLAGÅRD*. Even though we were apart, we both tracked down the spice in our cities and enjoyed a TajĂn cocktail together over FaceTime.

The margarita in the photo perfectly captures that memory. It’s a cucumber margarita with a TajĂn rim, refreshing and spicy at the same time. The coolness of the cucumber paired with the zesty lime and the tangy heat of the TajĂn made this a summer favorite. The saltiness and spice of the rim highlight the drink’s fresh flavors, and it’s a combination that we’ve both continued to make since.

Here’s how to make it:

Rub a lime wedge around the rim of your glass and dip it in TajĂn for that iconic zesty edge. Blend cucumber into a purĂ©e, mix it with tequila, lime juice, simple syrup, and orange liqueur. Shake it up with ice and strain into the prepared glass. Garnish with a cucumber slice and an extra sprinkle of TajĂn for that extra kick. It’s a fun way to spice up your classic margarita!

This drink is perfect for warm evenings, Zoom calls with friends, or just when you want to try something unique. I love how simple ingredients can bring people together, even from different cities.

HOW I GOT DAVID’S BLUEBERRY CRUMBLE #theatrelife #behindthescenes #backs...

Woke up today and started by editing yesterday's Instagram stories for Reels, YouTube, and TikTok—because you know the grind never stops. Last night, I saw *Dreamgirls* at Chinateatern, but since it was pouring rain, I took the subway home. And guess what? That means I had to take the subway to work this morning instead of my usual bike ride.

First thing on my agenda was picking up shoes from the cobbler. Bonus content: I ended up teaching him how to use Instagram! Pretty sure I created a future social media star right there.

Once at the theatre, I got a sweet surprise—David, our makeup artist and wig designer, baked us a blueberry crumble using blueberries from his country house. It was delicious and gave us the perfect energy boost for the day.

Pontus Wonkawaara was on today, understudying the lead role of Axel. He crushed it, as always! And with Pontus stepping up, that meant Isak was on for Pontus’ regular role, Ragnar. The show must go on, and everyone was on point!

I also gave you a sneak peek of one of the backstage quick changes for Hanna, where she goes from playing Titti to Pattan—all in the wings. These fast changes are a real rush, and I love the behind-the-scenes magic we make every day.

Living my best life in Midsommarkransen, Stockholm, juggling my day job as a dresser and costume supervisor at the theatre, my vlogging, vegan cooking, and, of course, my love for style. Every day I post new videos across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Threads. Plus, I keep my feed fresh by posting the oldest photo on my iPhone and then erasing it. It’s my little way of keeping things nostalgic!

Broccoli on a Sicilian Cloth

This is the oldest photo on my phone, taken on July 22, 2023, and it features a plate of broccoli that I honestly don’t even remember making! But hey, I try so many recipes, it's hard to keep track sometimes. The broccoli looks either steamed or boiled, with a touch of lemon zest and what seems to be fried onions or breadcrumbs (or even fried corn, I can’t tell). There’s also quite a bit of salt visible on the surface, but maybe it was meant to be served like that—with flakes of salt sprinkled on top for texture and flavor.

The plate itself is gorgeous, resting atop a colorful Sicilian tablecloth that really gives the whole thing a Mediterranean vibe. This tablecloth has a special place in my kitchen as it was a gift from my dear friend Ulf. The whole setup is so nostalgic, yet I have no memory of making this exact dish. It’s funny how a simple food photo can trigger so many memories, even when the specifics get lost in the shuffle of life.

Food photos like this remind me of the small, simple joys of trying new recipes, even if they don’t always stick in my memory. It's not just about the dish itself, but the context—where I was, the environment, the people I shared it with. For me, cooking is as much about the ambiance and the memories made around the table as it is about the flavors. This image encapsulates that: a casual moment that’s now etched into my phone’s history.

So here’s to all the forgotten dishes that were probably delicious!

HOW I GOT A TAXI TO THE SHOW #musicaltheatre #veganfoodie #theatrelife #...

In this funny video, I start the day editing yesterday’s Instagram Stories, getting them ready for Instagram Reels, YouTube, and TikTok. Then I head to the theatre where I work to drop off some shoes at a nearby cobbler. Of course, it’s raining, and even though I insist on biking, I end up getting completely soaked on my way there.

Once I arrive at work, my friend Martin shows up, and we pour some wine and start chatting. I challenge Martin to name three Agatha Christie novels, but he’s really bad at it, and we have a good laugh! After wine and conversation, we grab a taxi to the China Theatre, because it’s still pouring, where we’re going to see the musical *DREAMGIRLS*. The musical was amazing and full of energy, but after the show, I’m so drained that I take the subway home instead of biking.

I live in an apartment in Midsommarkransen, a suburb of Stockholm, Sweden. I work as a dresser and costume supervisor at a musical theatre here in Stockholm. My interests include vlogging, vegan cooking, theatre, and style. Every day, I upload a new video to Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Threads. Then, I upload the oldest picture from my iPhone to the same platforms and erase it from my phone. It’s my way of keeping my feed fresh and nostalgic at the same time.

Avocado Plant and Dessert with Friends

This is the oldest photo on my phone, taken on July 21, 2023, in my living room at my apartment in Midsommarkransen, a suburb of Stockholm. It features my dear friends Majsan and Christian, both of whom I’ve worked with on the musical *SÅ SOM I HIMMELEN*. We always try to get together as often as possible, but with Christian and I working evenings and weekends in the theater and Majsan’s dog who can’t be left alone, it’s a challenge. So, when we do manage to meet, it’s usually in pairs. But this rare occasion captured all three of us enjoying dessert and coffee.

At the top of the photo, you can see the lush leaves from my huge avocado plant that’s been thriving in the living room. The table is spread with dessert plates, cups of coffee, and a cozy atmosphere that reflects our long friendship and shared laughter. I love this photo for the warmth and the memories it brings back — casual evenings with people who are more like family than friends.

We had just wrapped up the final show of the week, and this was the perfect way to unwind and catch up. It’s these little moments — sharing a meal, stories, and a lot of laughter — that really make all the work worth it.

HOW I GOT MARTIN ADDICTED TO MADELINE KAHN #lgbtqcontent #veganlifestyle...

In this video, I kick off the day by editing yesterday’s Instagram Stories videos for Instagram Reels, YouTube, and TikTok before heading out for some grocery shopping. I grab lemons and white wine vinegar – and thankfully, I don’t need to buy more pasta. 😅

Back home, I realize I’ve got some celery that’s on its way out, so I decide to make a veggie soup. I throw in all the sad-looking vegetables I can find and even add dried lime, but honestly, it didn’t make much of a difference to the flavor! 😬 The soup turns into more of a stew with everything I tossed in. After that, I open a package from H&M’s collaboration with Annamiak Khanna – a new t-shirt that’s perfect for my collection.

Later, my friend Martin comes over, and we settle in to watch the classic *Beetlejuice*. đŸ· I introduce him to the late, great actress Madeline Kahn, and he can’t believe he’s never heard of her! Lucky him – he has so much brilliance to look forward to. She was an absolute comedic genius and a gay icon. 🌈

We sip wine, laugh, and chat way past Martin’s usual hours, which is super rare for him! It’s one of those chill, perfect evenings that you don’t plan but turn out great.

"Summer Crumble with Friends"

This is the oldest photo on my phone, taken on July 21, 2023, at my apartment in Midsommarkransen, Stockholm, during a cozy dinner with my friends Christian and Majsan. The image captures our dessert: a delicious vegan crumble, layered with berries and topped with loads of cream. It’s beautifully set on my living room dining table, which is covered by a colorful Sicilian tablecloth that I got from my dear friend Ulf. You can also spot a bottle of ITALICUS, a fragrant bergamot liqueur, in a stunning blue glass bottle, adding a touch of elegance to the scene.

We gathered around the table that evening, laughing, sharing stories, and indulging in this sweet treat. The crumble was a hit, with its perfect balance of tangy fruit and creamy topping, making it a memorable finale to a great evening. The warmth of the tablecloth, with its bright Sicilian design, added a sense of travel and nostalgia to the atmosphere, making the moment feel even more special.

Featuring my friends Christian and Majsan, this picture reminds me of how much I value these kinds of simple but meaningful gatherings, where food, friendship, and conversation come together perfectly. The bottle of ITALICUS, a thoughtful addition to the night, served as a reminder to celebrate life’s little pleasures with style. It's moments like these that make me realize how food and a shared meal can bring people closer.

This photo holds so much meaning for me. It's not just a snapshot of food but a reflection of the connection I share with my friends and how our shared love for good food, vegan cooking, and enjoying life together enriches my everyday experience. Every time I look at this picture, I’m reminded of the joy of summer evenings, delicious food, and cherished friendships.

HOW I GOT MY LUNCH AT THE BOAT CLUB #veganrecipes #stockholmlife #selfca...

link to my vlog: http://joakimcliftonbergman.blogspot.com

Today's video is a fun one! đŸŽ„ I started the day editing yesterday's Instagram Stories into fresh content for Instagram Reels, YouTube, and TikTok. It's always a blast tweaking those little moments and making them shine! 😎 Then, I took a break for a lunchtime swim with my friend Martin Johansson at the docks near his boat club in Örnsberg. 🏊‍♂️ The water was freezing but refreshing, and it might just be the last swim of the year! Afterward, I whipped up some homemade pasta at the boat club to refuel before heading out for grocery shopping at a budget-friendly spot. Got some essentials—pasta and noodles. 🍝

When I got home, I was excited to find that the t-shirt I ordered from H&M finally arrived. Perfect timing, because I was about to FaceTime with my friend Magnus! 👕 To top off the afternoon, I made a pink grapefruit cocktail 🍾—a little citrusy treat to sip on while chatting with Magnus.

In the evening, I decided to relax in the best way possible. I grabbed my iPad and a glass of wine đŸ· and treated myself to a bubble bath 🛁. Perfect way to wind down after a busy day.

"Roadside Moments in Hansa City"

This is the oldest photo on my phone, taken on July 3, 2023, during a quick stop at Hansa City in Kalmar. My friend Ulf and I were on our way back to Stockholm after visiting my parents in the quaint village of MörbylĂ„nga on Öland. The image features close-up shots of both of us, a moment frozen in time as we paused our road trip for a quick break. Ulf, with his familiar expression, is leaning against the car, looking thoughtful. I’m in the foreground, capturing this brief but memorable stop on a sunny summer day.

July 3, 2023, at Hansa City in Kalmar, Sweden. We were halfway through our journey from Öland back to Stockholm, stopping for a breather after spending time with family.

The photo highlights me and my long-time friend Ulf. It's a candid moment during our road trip, where our expressions say more than words, reflecting the ease and familiarity of a friendship that has lasted for decades.

Hansa City serves as the backdrop, with the usual buzz of a roadside shopping center—cars passing by, shoppers coming and going. It's not about the place itself, but about the little in-between moments that happen while traveling.

Featuring my friend Ulf Nordlander and me. We’ve been through so much together, and this trip was another chapter in our shared journey.

The mood of this photo is relaxed, a mix of nostalgia and contentment. We had just spent a few days in MörbylĂ„nga, and this stop felt like the calm after a refreshing visit with family, reflecting on the road ahead and the memories we’d made.

This photo means a lot to me because it captures the essence of my friendship with Ulf and the comfort of being with someone who has been part of my life for so long. It’s a moment that, though simple, holds layers of shared experiences.

After a few days in Öland, filled with family time, nature, and the peaceful life of the countryside, we were back on the road. This stop at Hansa City wasn’t planned, but sometimes the best moments aren’t—they just happen.

HOW I GOT RECOGNISED BY MY BUM #backstagelife #theatrelovers #veganlife ...

In this entertaining video, I start the day by editing yesterday's Instagram Stories for Reels, YouTube, and TikTok. The sun is shining, and it’s one of those hot days that makes everything move just a little slower. I hop on my bike and head to the theatre. Once there, I start by presetting the costumes. Simon, our stage manager, takes a moment to teach us the precise technique for mopping the stage floor. Who knew it required such skill?

Next, I give a backstage tour, showing how the stage elevator works. It’s so hot that we’ve placed a broken fan on the floor to circulate the slightly cooler air. Meanwhile, the actorbats are getting ready for the show. I’m on zipper duty today, fixing a broken one just in time for the performance. The last show of the week wraps up, but I stay behind to tackle the laundry. It’s part of the job!

On my way home, something funny happens—I'm recognized from behind by an old colleague, also named Joakim. We worked together 30 years ago at Hamburger Börs when he was a chef and I was helping out in the kitchen. Small world, right?

Living in Midsommarkransen, a cozy suburb of Stockholm, I’m a dresser and costume supervisor at a musical theatre here in the city. "Old Friend, Old Memories"

This is the oldest photo on my phone, taken on July 2, 2023, at my parents' house in the small village of MörbylĂ„nga on the Swedish island of Öland. It features my dear friend Ulf Nordlander, casually leaning against the yellow wooden wall of the house, wearing his favorite yellow hoodie and smoking a cigarette. The yellow wall, weathered but still bright, is partially covered by plants climbing up, adding a touch of nature to the scene. It's one of those quiet moments that feels so simple, yet somehow perfect.

The day was warm, and Ulf and I had just finished a long chat over coffee in the garden. We’ve been friends for about 35 years now, having met while pursuing acting before both shifting paths—Ulf into elder care and me into costume and dressing. This photo captures Ulf in a moment of relaxation, an old friend in a familiar place, lost in thought, or maybe just enjoying the calm of the countryside.

This moment, simple as it is, means a lot to me. Ulf has been such a constant in my life, and this photo brings me back to that day when we were visiting my parents. It’s not just a picture of a friend—it’s a snapshot of friendship, time, and the kind of comfort you only feel around someone you’ve known for decades.

Every time I look at this image, I’m reminded of how much we’ve been through together and how much I cherish these kinds of quiet moments. There’s a sense of nostalgia here—standing outside my parents’ house, talking about life, and just being present with someone who knows you so well.

HOW I GOT MY BLUEBERRY BUN #theatrelife #veganlifestyle #btsfun #musical...

In this fun and busy day, I kick things off by editing yesterday's Instagram Stories, making them perfect for Instagram Reels, YouTube, and TikTok. After that, I hop on my bike and head to the theatre—it’s a two-show day, so there's a lot going on.

Johanna, my fellow dresser, surprises me with some vegan blueberry buns she brought for me and the makeup artist, David. At last night’s opening night party, they handed out baseball caps with the show's logo on them, but since I left early, I got mine today.

Things get spicy—literally—when Johanna tries some super-hot instant noodles. Meanwhile, David shows off his underwear, adding a hilarious moment to the day. There's even a marathon happening outside the theatre, creating a bit of chaos.

Inside, it’s scorching, and I have to keep wetting my baseball cap to cool down. The cast is juggling understudies, with Hanna stepping up for the lead role in the first show and back in her ensemble track for the second.

By the end of the day, I’m tired but happy, and it’s been another whirlwind of theatre life, filled with vegan treats, surprises, and backstage fun.

The Rose Garden Memory

This is the oldest photo on my phone, taken on July 2, 2023, in my parents' beautiful garden in MörbylĂ„nga, a quaint village on the Swedish island of Öland. Ulf and I were visiting for a couple of days, and I couldn't resist snapping this picture of the garden that always feels like a peaceful retreat. In the photo, you can see some of the lovely flowers and bushes that line the border to their neighbor’s yard, but the real stars are the almost fluorescent red-pink roses in full bloom. I wish I knew their name because they truly stood out that day, adding a vibrant splash of color to the green backdrop.

The garden itself is a labor of love for my parents, filled with flowering plants that change with the seasons. This photo captures a moment of stillness in their little corner of paradise, a reflection of the joy they take in cultivating something so beautiful. The air was warm, the scent of flowers heavy, and Ulf and I had just come back from a walk along the coast. I love how this image blends the wildness of nature with the care my parents have put into the space.

The vibrant roses steal the spotlight, but the photo also quietly features the garden's other treasures: small bushes, creeping vines, and the border of flowers stretching out like a living frame. It’s not just a picture of plants, but a snapshot of memories—of family, visits home, and time spent with old friends. This place and these small moments mean a lot to me, reminding me of where I come from and the simple beauty in everyday things.

There’s something grounding about returning to this garden, something peaceful about the rhythm of plants growing and blooming year after year. That’s why this photo is more than just a nice shot—it’s a meaningful glimpse into the life I’ve shared with the people and places I love.

HOW I GOT MY REOPENING NIGHT GIFT #BackstageStories #TheatreLife #Musica...

Today’s video starts off with me editing yesterday’s Instagram Stories to get them ready for Instagram Reels, YouTube, and TikTok. A typical morning routine, but trust me—it’s more entertaining than it sounds! Once the edits are done, I hop on my bike, and the weather is perfect. Sunshine and a gentle breeze as I pedal my way to the theatre.

It’s reopening night after our summer break, and excitement is in the air. When I get to the theatre, I find out that David Julio, our makeup artist, gave me the coolest gift: a book called *HONEY, I’M HOMO.* I can’t wait to dive into it. He also gave our assistant Johanna a Dolly Parton cake mix, which is honestly the most fabulous gift. Johanna, by the way, just came back from shopping for belts, so there’s a lot of style inspiration going around today.

The actor Pontus gets a fresh haircut, while David gets a much-needed massage from Isak Bendelin. Trust me, David is *tense* but in good hands. Meanwhile, actor and acrobat Petter Mario Skoglund pops by, super excited after scoring some seriously expensive clothes on sale. He’s not the only one! Nils, another actor, managed to find an amazing leather jacket. Both pieces came from a sale of old costumes used in a Swedish movie.

And then... showtime! The buzz backstage is unreal.

"Blurry Roadside Memories"

This is the Oldest Photo on my Phone, taken on July 2, 2023, during a stop for gas in Söderköping while Ulf and I were driving back to Stockholm after visiting my parents in MörbylĂ„nga on Öland. The photo captures a close-up of me looking quite good, while Ulf is in the background, a yellow blur that looks almost comical—a fuzzy blob in his signature bright yellow hoodie. We were exhausted but in high spirits after the long trip.

Ulf and I have been friends for over 35 years, and though we’re now living quite different lives, moments like these bring out the joy of our friendship. This spontaneous stop for gas ended up creating a snapshot that makes me smile every time I see it. It’s funny how random moments, like this, sometimes become the most memorable ones.

The setting was just a typical Swedish gas station, but the memory it holds makes it special. Ulf, always the practical one, filled up the car while I, as usual, couldn’t resist taking a selfie. I snapped this picture just before we got back on the road, and while I look all posed, Ulf is just an afterthought in the background—unintentionally photobombing, as always. The blurry effect, combined with the absurdity of the moment, perfectly encapsulates our dynamic.

This photo represents a great mix of friendship, travel, and unexpected laughs, which is probably why I’ve held onto it for so long.

HOW I GOT MY DRESS REHERSAL BOOTY #theatrelife #veganliving #quickchange...

In this video, I start the day by editing yesterday’s Instagram stories for Reels, YouTube, and TikTok. After some quick edits, I hop on my bike and head into the theater for another full day of rehearsals. I begin the day on a mission: finding a black waistcoat. In the middle of all the chaos, I even try on a wig—got to have some fun, right? Meanwhile, makeup artist David and his assistant Johanna are getting things in order for the big show. Tim MĂ„rtensson, our amazing costume creator, arrives with a gift—a coffee maker that he inherited from his friend, Pepa. Talk about a thoughtful present, especially in a place where caffeine fuels everything! Then, it’s time for the dress rehearsal. My new task today is helping actor Martin with his quick change after the opening number. With Joakim out of the show, David steps up as stage manager for the day. It’s all hands on deck! I gave my dress rehearsal tickets to my friend Martin, and in return, he surprised me with the cutest gift: a collection of tiny white wine bottles. Backstage, actor Rikard Berg is playing cameraman, capturing every behind-the-scenes moment. As usual, the energy is electric, and the show ends with a standing ovation. It never gets old seeing the audience on their feet! Living in Midsommarkransen, Stockholm, I’m a gay vegan man working as a dresser and costume supervisor for a musical. Driving Through Memories

This is the oldest photo on my phone, taken on July 2, 2023, during a weekend trip to visit my parents in MörbylĂ„nga, a small village on the Swedish island of Öland. In the picture, you can see my friend Ulf Nordlander at the wheel of his Mini Cooper, wearing his bright yellow hoodie, which always stands out no matter where we go. He’s focused on the road, his profile set against the passing landscape as we drive through familiar scenery.

We’ve been friends for over 35 years. We met back when we were both chasing dreams of becoming actors. Those were different times—full of big ambitions, rehearsals, and the excitement of youth. But life had other plans for both of us. Ulf was drawn to set design, a world behind the stage, where creativity took a different form. Eventually, though, he found his true calling in elder care, a career far from the theater lights but one where his kindness truly shines.

This trip to Öland felt like one of those full-circle moments. There we were, cruising through the island’s quiet roads, surrounded by the vast, open countryside that always feels like home. Ulf’s bright hoodie was a splash of color against the muted tones of the car, and I couldn’t help but snap the photo, capturing the simple beauty of the moment. We didn’t need words. Just the road, the familiar comfort of our friendship, and the hum of the Mini Cooper’s engine.

Looking at this picture now, I’m reminded of all the conversations we’ve had over the years—about life, dreams, and how we’ve both ended up in places we never expected. Ulf, once set on designing worlds for the stage, now brings joy to the elderly, and I, who thought I’d be an actor, found my creative outlet in the world of costume design and vlogging. Our paths may have diverged, but our friendship never wavered.

This photo is more than just a snapshot of a car ride; it’s a reminder of the journey we’ve been on together for decades.

HOW I GOT MY BOOK OF DRAG #TheatreLife #RehearsalDay #CreativeJourney #B...

In this video, I start the day by editing yesterday’s Instagram Stories for Instagram Reels, YouTube, and TikTok. Then, it’s time to hop on my bike and head to the theatre for a day full of rehearsals. Opening night is just around the corner, and I’m feeling the exhaustion. We’re doing a full run-through in costumes, and I even have to say goodbye to an old lunchbox bag from the musical *SISTER ACT* in London that my friend Staffan gave me. It’s seen better days, so I finally throw it out (RIP, lunchbox bag).

While at the theatre, Johanna has an epiphany about grapes—she realizes you don’t actually have to chew on the seeds when eating them. It’s one of those funny, random moments that keep the energy going. The costume creator, Tim MĂ„rtensson, gives me a lovely present—a book about drag, which totally makes my day. Meanwhile, the actress Emma gets new shoes, and she’s over the moon about them.

I live in an apartment in Midsommarkransen, a suburb of Stockholm, Sweden, where I work as a dresser and costume supervisor at a musical theatre in the city. I’m into vlogging, vegan cooking, theatre, and style, and every day I post videos on Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Threads. I also have a fun little tradition: I upload the oldest photo on my iPhone, post it across platforms, and then delete it from my phone. It’s my way of keeping things fresh while holding onto a bit of nostalgia.

ANYONE FOR A CHEESY MUFF?

This is the oldest photo on my phone, taken on July 2, 2023, in the village of Degerhamn on the Swedish island of Öland. It features a quirky vintage ad for Estrella’s long-forgotten snack, "Ostmuffar" (Cheese Muffs). I had never heard of these cheese puffs before, and after some digging, it seems this product might have been a short-lived or rare snack, as there’s barely any trace of it online! The ad is pretty funny and nostalgic, saying: "Here’s something different! Enjoy: New! Estrella cheese puffs. Crispy. What a great taste! And what a fun, unique sensation to munch on them! Try them!" A fun discovery during my Öland trip.

This ad is plastered on a weathered old wall, bringing a sense of time travel to a simpler era of snack marketing. The faded colors and retro style capture that classic, playful spirit, instantly drawing me in. There's something charming about this forgotten snack trying so hard to be the next big thing.

The moment made me smile because of the sheer randomness—finding this obscure ad in such a remote place. It’s like a little piece of history nobody remembers, and yet it’s still there, telling a forgotten story.

This photo is special to me because I’m fascinated by quirky, vintage finds like this. It makes me wonder how many other forgotten snacks or products are out there, waiting to be rediscovered. The connection between nostalgia and the present moment is what I love capturing.

Have you ever stumbled upon something so odd and fascinating that it made you stop and reflect? This was one of those moments for me.

HOW I GOT CHILLIES, APPLES AND GRAPES, OH, MY! #theaterlovers #creatives...

Today’s video starts off with me editing yesterday’s Instagram Stories to prep them for Reels, YouTube, and TikTok. After that, I hop on my bike to pick up a few things I ordered online. My best find? A pair of secondhand sunglasses from H&M’s collab with Marni, bought through Sellpy.

Back at the theater, David, our makeup artist, checks his lists, and we have a little fun pretending I’m his next “client” for the day. It’s a blast working with such creative people!

Then the costume creator Tim’s husband arrives, not just with costumes but also apples, chilies, and grapes. Naturally, Johanna and I face off with a quick game of rock-paper-scissors to decide who gets the first pick of the chilies.

We spend the rest of the day mending costumes and preparing the four new cast members for their debut in the opening number. Plus, Martin, who's been part of our crew since day one, takes on a new role in the opening number since Rolf left. Lots of changes, but everything’s coming together as we get closer to opening night!

Living in Midsommarkransen, Stockholm, and working as a dresser and costume supervisor at a musical theater, life is never boring. I share my daily adventures on Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Threads. The Oldest Photo on My Phone

This is the Oldest Photo on my Phone, taken July 2, 2023, at Kalvhagen in the village of MörbylĂ„nga on the Swedish island Öland. The picture captures my old friend Ulf Nordlander attempting to take a close-up photo of moss growing on a massive rock. Ulf is wearing a bright yellow hoodie, and his crouched posture as he angles for the perfect shot looks unintentionally comical. The moment was quiet and peaceful, with the soft breeze carrying the scent of summer grass. It’s a memory that makes me smile every time I see it.

We had spent the afternoon exploring the natural beauty of the island. The colors were vivid—the yellow of Ulf's hoodie against the green landscape, and the contrast of the gray stone covered in moss. There was something almost magical about the simplicity of the scene. Ulf, totally focused on capturing the details, and me, just appreciating the moment.

This photo is special to me because it marks a carefree weekend spent with close friends. It was one of those spontaneous days that remind you how beautiful everyday moments can be. As the sun slowly set, we continued to wander through the fields, just enjoying the island's peaceful atmosphere.

Öland is known for its wide-open landscapes, charming coastal villages, and rich cultural history. It's a place where nature meets heritage, making it a popular destination for those seeking tranquility.

HOW I GOT BACK INTO SHOW BUSINESS #theatrelife #backstagevibes #vegancoo...

In this video, I start the day by editing yesterday's Instagram stories into videos for Instagram Reels, YouTube, and TikTok. Then, it's off to the theatre because we're heading into a super intense week with our reopening just four days away! I’ve got my big bag stuffed with homemade lunchboxes, ready for the busy day ahead.

The day is packed, starting with an understudy run-through in the evening. The amazing costume creator Tim MĂ„rtensson is back at the theatre with some new costumes for the show. Martin, one of our actors, is having a fitting, while the new actor Pontus Wonkawarra is rehearsing a quick costume change with our makeup designer David Julio. The team is on fire today, getting everything perfect for the reopening.

At one point, Tim leaves, but then he comes back because, surprise, he forgot a few things! It’s all part of the theatre craziness, and we’re used to it. Meanwhile, Johanna sneaks out through the fire escape—on a mission to buy a blouse! The entire day is nonstop, but in the end, the understudy run-through goes great. We’re feeling pumped for the upcoming performance!

Windy Walk on the Beach

This is the oldest photo on my phone, taken on July 2, 2023, at the windy beach of Degerhamn on the Swedish island Öland. In the first picture, you can see my friend Ulf Nordlander walking along the beach, dressed in shorts and a yellow hoodie with the hood up to protect against the gusts of wind. We were spending the weekend visiting my parents, who live in a small village called MörbylĂ„nga on Öland.

The rest of the photos I took that day capture the natural beauty of the beach, filled with smooth, colorful pebbles and stones, scattered along the shoreline.

I remember the weather being quite unpredictable—dark clouds gathering on the horizon, but moments of sunshine breaking through. Ulf, always ready with his camera, was snapping away while the wind whipped around us. There’s something special about Öland beaches; they have this raw, untouched vibe that makes you feel completely connected to nature. I couldn’t resist documenting the scene.

This photo brings back memories of that peaceful weekend, spending time with family, walking along the shoreline, and just taking in the dramatic scenery. Öland is always full of surprises, from its open landscapes to its unique coastal charm.

HOW I GOT TICKETS TO BEETLEJUICE AND FLOWERS FOR MRS HARRIS #fallvibes #...

Starting my day by editing yesterday’s Instagram stories for Reels, YouTube, and TikTok! Then, since it’s September 1st, it’s time to get ready for autumn. I put away all my shorts, change my bed linens, and turn my plants a quarter of a turn. Of course, I also get the balcony prepped for colder weather by covering everything in tarp.

After that, it’s time for some soup! And not just any soup—a thick, hearty soup, the perfect meal to welcome the changing season. đŸČ Later in the day, I get invited to my friend Martin’s for dinner, wine, and some video watching. Naturally, I bring a bottle of wine and donate a bunch of my old shirts to him.

It’s raining as I head over, and by the time I arrive, the cozy autumn vibes are in full swing. We light the first candles of the season, as the days are getting shorter. 🍂 Martin’s soup is delicious, and we enjoy the cozy atmosphere while planning our next adventure—getting tickets for “Beetlejuice” at Östgötateatern and “Flowers for Mrs. Harris” at Wermland Opera. Can’t wait! 🎟️

Living in my apartment in Midsommarkransen, I’m all about balancing work at the theatre with my love for vlogging, vegan cooking, and style. Dramatic Skies at Degerhamn Beach

This is the Oldest Photo on my Phone, taken on July 2, 2023, at the beach of Degerhamn on the Swedish island Öland. The photo features my friend Ulf Nordlander walking along the pebbled beach, cigarette in hand, while snapping pictures on his iPhone. We were out enjoying the contrast of the steely, dark clouds that kept rolling in while the summer sun simultaneously cast its light over the scene. The mix of light and shadows, combined with the rugged pebbles and calm sea, created a surreal atmosphere. This moment perfectly captured the duality of nature—stormy yet calm, dark yet bright.

We were in Öland visiting my parents for a weekend getaway. Ulf, always fascinated by the dramatic skies, couldn’t resist capturing the view. This beach is known for its peaceful atmosphere, with few tourists around, and it was a perfect place for us to take a breather from city life.

It’s funny how a simple beach walk can turn into a memory so vivid. The unpredictability of the weather made the day exciting, and this photo reminds me of how connected we are to nature’s shifts and rhythms. The old, pebbled beach and that particular moment felt like it was meant to be captured.

Who would’ve thought that such a simple evening stroll would become one of the earliest memories on my iPhone? Moments like these remind me to take a step back and appreciate the beauty in fleeting moments.

HOW I GOT RID OF MY OLDEST T SHIRT #GayStockholm #LifeInSweden #VintageT...

In this funny and entertaining video, I start my day by editing yesterday’s Instagram Stories for Instagram Reels, YouTube, and TikTok. After finishing up, I head outside to grab some establishing shots of my apartment. The light is perfect, and the neighborhood of Midsommarkransen looks amazing in the early morning. Then comes the hard part—I finally say goodbye to an old t-shirt from the 90s, a vintage piece that’s been with me since my days working the hat check at a gay club in Stockholm. It’s filled with memories, but it’s time to let go.

After that, I head to Liljeholmstorgets Galleria for some grocery shopping. It’s the last day of August, which means it’s also the last day I’m wearing shorts—because tomorrow is September 1st and fall begins! The weather is still holding up, but it’s definitely time to prepare for cooler days ahead.

Next, I FaceTime my friend Magnus Boren to kick off our annual tradition: **SeptembeRum**—because it’s September, and we’re celebrating with rum cocktails. After some laughs, cocktails, and catching up, I decide it’s time to take down my balcony lights and prepare for autumn.

I live in an apartment in Midsommarkransen, a suburb of Stockholm, Sweden, and work as a dresser and costume supervisor at a musical theater in Stockholm. "Lit Up in MörbylÄnga"

This is the oldest photo on my phone, taken on July 1, 2023, when my friend Ulf Nordlander and I were visiting my parents in the charming village of MörbylĂ„nga, on the Swedish island of Öland. It was a peaceful summer night, and Ulf and I decided to take a walk through the quiet streets. As we strolled, I suddenly noticed how gorgeous the streetlight made me look, perfectly illuminating my H&M sweater. Naturally, I had to capture the moment! The street was serene, the air warm, and this little adventure felt like a snapshot of pure contentment.

MörbylĂ„nga is a picturesque village known for its peaceful atmosphere and historical charm. The harbor is a great place to catch a sunset, and the village itself offers a glimpse into traditional Swedish life. Meanwhile, Öland is famous for its stunning beaches, unique limestone formations, and windmills. It’s a must-visit destination for nature lovers and those seeking a laid-back escape from city life.

This photo is not just about the setting, though. It’s a reminder of that spontaneous moment of beauty we sometimes find in everyday life, and how a simple walk with a friend can turn into something memorable.

HOW I GOT A MYSTERIOUS THUMBS UP #theatrelife #dailyvlogs #costumedesign...

Today's video starts with me editing yesterday’s Instagram Stories for Reels, YouTube, and TikTok—my morning ritual. Then, I hop on my bike and head to the theatre, where we’re gearing up for the reopening of our show! David is meticulously organizing wigs, while Johanna and I are gathering and hanging costumes.

During our coffee break, we get sidetracked by the *Dolce & Gabbana x Smeg* collaboration—David is obsessed with getting their toaster, but he jokes he'd have to sell his house first to afford it! 😂 It was a hilarious conversation that made our break even better.

Then, my friend Martin swings by, on his way to the *Company* musical opening at Kulturhuset Stadsteatern. We have a quick catch-up before he rushes off to the event.

Later, I get a cap delivered, but it's comically small on my head! But hey, I also got a weird thumbs-up notification from Instagram—still not sure how I earned it, but I’ll take it! 😅

The Oldest Photo on My iPhone

These are the oldest photo on my phone, taken on July 1, 2023, in the village of MörbylĂ„nga on Öland, in the south of Sweden. It features the back of my friend Ulf Nordlander's head, who, along with me, was visiting my parents for a short weekend getaway. The photo also shows the old railway station house of MörbylĂ„nga, with the name “MörbylĂ„nga” clearly visible on a sign attached to the wall.

This snapshot captures the peaceful, quiet charm of MörbylĂ„nga, a place that always brings me a sense of calm and nostalgia. The simplicity of the scene—just Ulf standing quietly with the station house in the background—evokes the slow pace and timeless feel of this small village. We were walking along the old tracks by the harbor after dinner, enjoying the stillness of the summer evening. Ulf is a big part of this memory, and while he’s not facing the camera, his presence here reflects our long friendship, shared moments, and our many summer visits to my parents’ home.

What makes this photo special to me is not just the place, but the sense of grounding I get every time I return to Öland. It’s a mix of old memories and new experiences, especially since I’ve visited this station house many times growing up. Now, returning as an adult, with friends like Ulf, makes it all the more meaningful. This photo is a snapshot of those moments in life where everything slows down, and you can appreciate the beauty of a simple scene.

HOW I GOT BACK TO THE THEATRE #gayvlogger #theatrelife #veganlifestyle #...

In this fun and entertaining video, I kick off the day editing yesterday's Instagram Stories for Instagram Reels, YouTube, and TikTok. Then, it's time to head to the theater. I'm rocking my oversized H&M sunglasses and a T-shirt featuring a Basquiat print. At the theater, I run into David, the makeup designer; Ann-Sofi, the costume designer; Johanna, my assistant; Nathalie, the production assistant (who’s enjoying some pasta for lunch); our new stage manager, Simon; and David tries on a pair of funky mirrored glasses. It’s hilarious!

After work, we relax with some new snacks and sangria, but then chaos strikes: thunder, lightning, and pouring rain. Thankfully, by the time I hop on my bike to head home, everything is calm again, and I get to enjoy the peaceful ride.

A Night in MörbylÄnga

This is the oldest photo on my phone, taken on July 1, 2023, during a late-night walk in MörbylĂ„nga, Öland. My friend Ulf Nordlander and I were spending a short weekend visiting my parents, something we do almost every summer. The picture features both of us, soaking in the serene, peaceful atmosphere of the harbor at night. The streets were quiet, and the only sounds came from the distant waves and a light breeze—perfect for a reflective evening.

The photo captures a candid moment of us strolling by the water, the warm glow of the streetlights framing the scene. I remember how calm everything felt, away from the usual bustle of the city. It’s moments like these, where time seems to stand still, that bring clarity and peace.

For me, this photo is not just a snapshot of a vacation but a reminder of the simple joys of being surrounded by family and friends in a place that feels like home. The quiet beauty of MörbylĂ„nga at night, combined with Ulf’s company, made this particular weekend even more memorable.

Ulf Nordlander and me, as we reconnect with nature and each other in one of my favorite spots in Öland.

This walk down to the harbor is one of the reasons I love returning here every summer. It’s a time to slow down, breathe, and appreciate the beauty of life. It also reminds me of the importance of spending time with those who matter most. It’s a simple tradition, but one that I hold close to my heart.
